I suggested a hotel and a transportation service that I like. The transportation service we used a few times we were in town was terrific and it helped us enjoy our trip. Last time we flew into Philadelphia, we arranged for Joe Yurick to pick us up and take us to dinner and to the hotel in Lancaster. Since the ride was more than an hour, it was nice to have him to help us settle into the area. He taught us so much. In addition, we had him pick us up the hotel the next day and show us around Lancaster to see all of the sites. It was a fantastic day tour. Since he knows this area like the back of his hand, he showed us things we may not have seen on our own. It was fantastic. Joe has a van that is comfortable and he is always on time and on budget with our trips. This service is perfect for long trips ... especially for people who do not want to drive, are elderly or are handicapped. Joe was amazing for one of our passengers that was handicapped ... he was understanding and helpful. I heard of this service because one of my friends hired Joe to take their family to another state for a wedding and they could not drive themselves. They had to leave at 5 in the morning for a twelve-hour trip and he really helped them a lot. They said they could not have gone otherwise. Thanks Joe for helping others. Yikes! -- After 2 positive experiences, things unfortunately took a negative turn with Next Destination Transportation. The owner, admittedly, is underway in a busy season and sent zero text messages (as he has done in the past) to confirm a scheduled pick-up. Miscommunication on both ends perhaps and the terms and conditions are spelled out on the website but it seems he picks and chooses when he wants to follow them. In the spirit of fairness, the cars have been clean and the drivers have been professional...until now. What I won't do is stay on the phone for 20 minutes repeating myself. I simply encourage all of you to get confirmation by phone, email, AND text if you don't want your full payment to be a donation to the business. =)

This option was listed on the website so I thought, perfect! The other websites did not list their destinations or pick ups so it's a loss to them. Anyways, first I asked for just a round trip, which came out to about $1046 for 3 people. Then my son and husband decided to come, so we would have to be in a corporate van for $1292 round trip. Then I had the grand idea of doing a mini tour because we would be landing early in the morning and we couldn't check into our hotel until the afternoon. They quoted me $80/hr plus I had to pay for the driver to sleep at a nearby hotel so that he wouldn't go over the limit on how many hours a chauffeur could drive law. The booking process was a little lengthy because they need to know the exact places you want to go because they need to map out the times. The chauffeur then texted me the day before so that I would have his number and that he wouldn't be able to meet us at the gate because the construction at the airport made the parking far away. I wanted to be met at the baggage claim, but I thought ok this guy knows better because he's from the area. When we landed I texted him and he was at the curb in minutes! I have to say our driver Bob Brown was the nicest, most courteous, chauffeur! He went above and beyond. He told us that if we wanted to go anywhere along the way to just let him know, from the way the booking went I thought we had to stick to the destinations only, but Bob made everything so easy. We got to see the jersey shore, where they filmed the show. People laughed because they were confused as to why we would come all the way from Hawaii to see this but hey we're tourist! Then we went to Philadelphia to see the Independence Hall, Liberty Bell, and the Rocky steps lol! We loved seeing these historic sights and spent more time than we were supposed to but Bob was still the most courteous person. We were tired after this so we asked to just go to the hotel instead of going to Hershey World as planned. When we arrived at the hotel Bob informed us that he would also be doing our return trip tomorrow the airport and that really put me at ease because I knew we would be in good hands. We had to be picked up at 3 am to get to our flight at JFK and Bob was early. He even helped me out because Enterprise rental car was not open on Sunday and they didn't tell me so I didn't have a ride back to the hotel as they had assured me when I picked up the car! So the next morning Bob followed me to Enterprise to drop the car off and we went on our way. He even told us he would wake us up for a bathroom break before we hit the morning traffic, but when we woke up we were already at the airport! I was so happy because I got to sleep before my 11 hour flight home with my 1 year old baby. Thank goodness for Bob! You need to ask for Bob Brown when booking this reliable company! My family and I will never forget Bob!

The driver, Charles agreed to call me when he had her safely in the car. Really appreciated the extra effort to make sure she was taken care of.
