Retreat Interiors' window display sucked us in, and I'm so glad it did. As soon as you step inside, you are mesmerized by the decor and use of space of the shop. Located in a historic building with a staircase to the left of the store, the high ceiling makes the store even feel more open and bright. Plus, the space smells so nice with plants and small soaps and body lotions sold inside. What I was most intrigued by the store was the selection of succulents sold here! Lots of air plants and cases for air plants are sold here, ranging in different sizes and styles. They also have a space towards the back of the store where you can build your own terrarium! I wish I had a bigger green thumb, just so I could appreciate all that Retreat Interior has to offer. In fact, the store here makes you wanna have a green thumb! A few months ago we collected some quotes and not only was Cristian friendly and responsive when he came to check the project for the bid estimate, but his price was also very competitive. He gave us a start date and him and his guys were here on time and the project took exactly as long as he estimated. His team of two guys were friendly, professional, and tidy. The results are amazing and he came back on the last day to do the final touch ups himself. His fastidious attention to detail rivaled even my husband and my type a scrutiny. The results were beyond good, beyond excellent, they were literally perfect. Even though we've just met and worked with him once, I'd trust Cristian with any future project. No, I'm not there to steal things. Never have been, never will. Zero record of any kind, in fact. The effect of Doug's shrinkage reduction tactics is to prevent me from *buying* anything. I have many antique-loving and vintage-loving friends who also despise the hounding tactics and no longer shop here as a result. I recommend trying Star Center Antique Mall instead. No hounding there.
