Review Highlights - Cobweb Antiques

I've been shopping all the antique stores in Snohomish for a while now, and this one is by far the funnest, if you're in for the hunt.

This is a great new store in Monroe, packed with lots of "collectibles", refreshed furniture and…read moreantique furniture!! My husband and I started our day in Monroe with breakfast at The Main Street Cafe, the food was delicious and plenty of it (although service was slow) but worth the wait! It put my husband in the right frame of mind for a day of shopping :) We started at Vintage Black Barrel, where I bought several home made candles; cranberry marmalade, apple harvest, one candle in a mini mason jar (lavender scent) and my favorite scented candle-apple, maple bourbon! They also had a great selection of homemade bath products. I ended up with organic lip balm, body butter, coconut sugar scrub and two really pleasantly scented (vanilla Sandalwood) handmade bar soaps. I really liked that the soap did not have too girly of a smell. I also ended up with a farmhouse style wire basket for the kitchen, a small antique wooden box and several pairs of warm socks, with funny sayings on the bottoms. Next stop was M/M Antique store- so much to look at in this store. My husband bought a cool vintage radio to fix up. We then went to three other Antique/ collectibles shops, sorry but I can't remember their names. At one of those shops we bought a set of three very solid copper coat hooks for our downstairs entree, great find!!! These stores are all within easy walking distance of each other so a little Seattle rain is ok! In case you can't tell antiquing is a hobby for us, and provides a reason for visiting communities that are new to us.

This is my favorite antique store. I live in Seattle but like to come here every so often to check…read moreout the new items they have. They have a good mix of antiques, some refinished items at a very reasonable price and they also sell milk paint. Some items I've gotten: a simple side table that we use as an entry table, glass container with lid that I use for cotton pads, a drawer that was made into a shelf and I also got a (non-antique) infinity scarf. The store is very organized and not overwhelming (ie, some stores are cluttered with so much junk that it's overwhelming). They display their items in small little sections and I most often walk away with something I love whenever I visit.
