Retreat Interiors' window display sucked us in, and I'm so glad it did. As soon as you step inside, you are mesmerized by the decor and use of space of the shop. Located in a historic building with a staircase to the left of the store, the high ceiling makes the store even feel more open and bright. Plus, the space smells so nice with plants and small soaps and body lotions sold inside. What I was most intrigued by the store was the selection of succulents sold here! Lots of air plants and cases for air plants are sold here, ranging in different sizes and styles. They also have a space towards the back of the store where you can build your own terrarium! I wish I had a bigger green thumb, just so I could appreciate all that Retreat Interior has to offer. In fact, the store here makes you wanna have a green thumb! I found out their store was in Snohomish and set a date to go up and take a visit. All of their pieces were surprisingly affordable and even more beautiful at their Snohomish shop. We ended up purchasing a whole lot of planters, bowls and vases and using them as the centerpieces for our wedding! Everyone loved them and commented how unique each one were. My husband and I now have Bruning pieces all over our home and use the smaller bowls for side dishes or ice cream! So versatile and I don't think I'll ever get rid of them. Looking to expand our collection soon! I've met a sweet lady, Catherine, who's helped me a few times as well as the owner, who took me into the back to pick out some of their top pieces. Always great hospitality every time I visit!

My main goal was to walk out of here with an awesome and unique planter from my favorite florist, The Petal and the Stem. They have planters and also a cooler of fresh floral arrangements for sale which is such a great partnership! I got my arrangement and a mango wood cake platter it was staged on because it was too cool to pass up! I like finding items you can't find just anywhere.
