On their announcement board that sits in front of the school it currently says that they were just ranked in the top 5% of all national high schools by Newsweek. I wonder how many schools are in the top 5% of all national high schools. I had some memorable teachers here. Mr Carter Ms Taaffe Ms Carter Ms Frazer. I felt like I got a good learnin' here even though I slept through a lot of my classes. High school. The outside of the campus is nice. There was no full tour of the campus my only experience was the two gyms. The large gym is nice on the inside but the bleachers really need to be replaced. The majority were cracked and since it was not crowded there were a few places to sit that wasn't cracked. I must say there are several entrances but they only had the top entrance open...I'm thinking to ensure payment. The bad thing is if there are older ppl in attendance (such as my grandma) then that would have been a problem (she didn't come to that particular game). Anyway, for some reason we always got booked to play in the auxiliary gym and it's always hot. My recommendation is to wear tank tops and shorts due to the lack of air conditioning. Kids can fight. My mom is still friends with the a teacher that was here when I went. She was nice. She left East Cobb because there was so much fighting. She had to pull snarling brats off of another all the time. She started to feel uncomfortable even though she'd been at the school for a long time. She likes where she is now much better. I did not like East Cobb. The gym teachers were all supreme dicks. One of them got hit in the face with a golf club once. He was a sassy dude and he one time gave me 3 detentions because I was running in the gym. If I let my kid go here it would only be because I'd want him/her to see how jacked people can be. After 7 school years, our daughter has come to the end of her Mathnasium journey. Thanks to your…read moreprogram and guidance, she has graduated from high school. I still remember our frustration over our daughter's struggle through her classes, especially in Math during her elementary school years. Even with the elementary school's after school tutoring, she was barely passing. Her mother and I knew things would only get more difficult in middle school, which led us to Mathnasium. The first day she came into the office, Kim guided her through the steps of a Math problem, and we all saw that she did understand; she just lacked the confidence to follow through. This little bit of hope is what convinced me that Mathnasium was the answer. By attending Mathnasium 2 or 3 times a week, our daughter significantly improved her grades not only in Math but in all her classes! Thanks to Kim and her team, our daughter will be attending college in the Fall! The program price is well worth the results!

Reposting from my Google review:…read more A den of thieves. We started at VMS in Jan 2020, and in March 2020 we had to pull out our child because of COVID lockdowns. VMS asked us to continue paying, which we did, because we understood that it was a hard time for everyone. We did not attend during Fall 2020 and started back in January 2021. Everything was fine. Summer of 2021 we were told students would not be required to wear masks (a requirement for us to send our child, which they knew). About two weeks after school started they reversed this decision, so we got a medical exemption for our child, as did several other parents. About a week after receiving medical exemption, they decided to reverse this as well and revoked all medical exemptions, and yet still expect us to continue paying. We even appealed to the school but were met with ridicule and condescension. We have been literally laughed at and disregarded. This is a school of indoctrination not education. It is a school that teaches children to obey and not to question. If you are trying to find a private school because you're worried about the incompetency of our government and do not want to be forced to obey their arbitrary unscientific mandates and restrictions which are imposed on public schools, this is not the school for you and I highly recommend looking elsewhere.
