Bonnie, Eric, and Susan asked thoughtful questions about our son to match him with the best tutor available. To say they succeeded would be an understatement. Natalie worked with Trey on his executive functioning skills, patiently showed him different ways of doing things, and supported him until his grades soared and he no longer needed help with Lit. In 10th grade, Geometry and Science challenged him, so we reached out to BCG for help in those subjects. Once again, they exceeded our expectations. Gerald, his Science tutor, teaches the same class in a nearby county and presents information differently than my son's teacher, works through several exercises to make sure our son understands the material, and makes suggestions of what he can do to stay on track until his next weekly session. Dan, our son's Geometry tutor, might be an angel in disguise. Thanks to his guidance and explanations, our son excitedly refreshes his Infinite Campus app to see how well he did on quizzes and tests instead of dreading the grades being posted. (Truly, he's excited to check his grades; what teen gets excited about anything other than sleeping in!?) We're incredibly grateful to have found BCG and know that, if our son needs tutoring in other subjects, BCG will find the right tutor who understands how our son learns and help him succeed in his classes.

Janine was wonderful to work with -- accommodating with schedule changes, amazing with communications, and absolutely perfect to work with Ryleigh. Janine and Ryleigh worked on whatever was needed at the time: math, literature, economics. Janine also listened to me, and we supported each other 100%. Ry was more open to telling Janine due dates and what they were working on versus telling me. And, Bonnie -- the founder / owner is also amazing to work with. Bonnie was there to support us at every step. Bonnie and Janine both write lovely notes for Ry at graduation -- and I cannot thank them enough.

The post course assessment was great to provide some structure on how to study after the course ends and before the real exam. It's also great that Manhattan Prep offers a post exam assessment if you don't meet your score goals so you know what to focus on to prepare for the next exam. Overall Manhattan Prep is a great service for studying for the GMAT, and Jamie in particular is a fantastic instructor who will help you achieve your goal score!

After a few weeks of attempting to study for the test on my own, I made the same choice many in my position do, and I reluctantly signed up for a very expensive class. Ultimately, this turned out to be a great decision. The Good: James, the Atlanta instructor, is why this review gets five stars. He is fantastic. He teaches the required curriculum, but then he goes beyond that and helps students understand the test, the best guessing strategies, and even those pesky math fundamentals that I have not used since high school. What I feel set this class apart from experiences my peers have had with other companies, is that James was always available. Even 4 months after the class, when I it was Steve vs. the GMAT, round II, I still got help with my GMAT questions via email. The online tutorial sessions are also fantastic. You can use them to supplement your in class and at home work, and ensure that you stay on track. What I liked most about them, is that they tended to be very personalized. The attendance was low, so it was typically a 3:1 ratio, which provided a very interactive learning environment. My only complaint about the class, is that they don't have a very solid "guarantee." After my first try at the test, I needed more help, and though James was available to answer specific questions, and the online materials were at my finger tips, I would have appreciated a chance to sit for more live classes. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend MGMAT to anyone.
