This place was awesome! Great customer service and they figured out my cars issue when another shop couldn't. I 100% recommend.

I was referred to this shop by someone who said they did solid work. My car--a 383 stroker Cutlass--was already running well after $6K in recent work; it just needed the engine lowered/remounted and minor timing adjustment. They picked it up via flatbed on 4/13 and said they'd call when it arrived. They never did. After 7 days with zero communication or written estimate, we called and were told no work had been done due to a "mechanic emergency." I checked his Facebook and found my car posted on his personal page (not business), with videos and music--using photos taken at my house, not of any work--and falsely describing it as a restoration with unrelated paint work photos. My license plate was clearly visible. We went to retrieve the car in Newton and found it parked unsecured, under a carport, with keys left in the ignition. On the way home, the car died--it was completely out of gas, despite being full when picked up and never driven there. After waiting on the highway, I had to go buy gas myself. No apology--just reimbursement offered later. The car was dirty, covered in dust and bird droppings, and clearly had been driven. Scott denied anyone drove it and suggested gas siphoning (impossible with a locked cap). I later checked mileage: over 100 unexplained miles added while in their possession. The issue isn't the gas or even the driving--it's the lack of communication and dishonesty. Even after I raised concerns, he claimed camera footage showed the car never moved. That simply doesn't add up. Between misleading social media posts, exposing my tag number, leaving the car unsecured, and denying obvious facts--this was a bad experience all around.
