I'm very impressed with David's honesty over the years as a YouTuber alone. I saw that someone gave…read morea bad review just cause they had to wait to do a meet and greet. That's really stupid and frankly embarrassing of a grown man to do. So here I am giving a 5 Star review to help balance that out. David has helped millions with his knowledge of vehicles and saving them from financial ruin and bankruptcy.

I recently stopped by the shop with an emergency situation and wanted to share my experience. I was…read moredriving my show-winning, completely unrestored 1975 Mercedes-Benz through Las Cruces on my way to Texas. After filling up in Arizona, I noticed a strong gasoline smell and discovered that a short, four inch cloth reinforced fuel line was dripping. But I actually had brand new German replacement line in my trunk. I spoke directly with David Long (the car Wizard), but unfortunately, he showed absolutely NO empathy for my situation. He simply told me, 'No appointment, no vehicles older than 1990, I'm not interested in this repair.' - Here I was a fan who genuinely needed emergency assistance and was ready to pay, but I was completely dismissed (guessing he told his workers "watch guys how I get rid of this guy"). Even a simple, "I'm sorry we can't help, but let me have my receptionist recommend a local shop who can," would have made a massive difference in my disappointment and softened the blow of his (to say the least) POOR attitude. - Well, the Bible reminds us in Hebrews 13:2: "Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it" - I am truly sorry to say that David missed an opportunity to show that baseline Christian hospitality when a stranger needed it most. - In closing, I pray this honest Christian feedback is received openly rather than the Blocking they did in their YouTube channel...

My husband and I used this auto shop years ago (2009)on our Toyota and had 4-5 star service! They…read morereally did their best to get a good tire for a good price and were timely, with good communication to us about our car. Today we tried them again, based on past experience and we were disappointed. They charged us the right price for the tires we bought, that we were quoted on Cyber Monday. The problem is the time it took to complete the job. We were told (repeatedly) that it would take "about an hour." Two and a half hours and a phone call later we FINALLY got our car back. Generally, if a job takes longer than expected, it's just good business sense to let the customer know. It's also good business to explain why the delay happened. The tires appear to be what we asked for, and they are on our car. They said they didn't have any problems finding anything on our car. Only time will tell if we were smart to give them our business, or not.

Wow a bad experience at a place that has done well by me in the past. Took a car in to have work…read moredone. Received a call saying the car was ready. When I went to get it they said they did the work and gave me the bill. It was no where near as expensive as I thought it would be. Went to the car and found the work had not been done. Went back in and the guy said he didn't do the work because it was to expensive. What? I'm the one paying the bill. He said it would cost $1,200. I said that's less than I thought and wanted it done. He said he would order the parts and give me a call. Never heard from him and when I called he did not remember what the car problem was or what parts to order. I'll think twice before returning.

A number of years ago, my 2009 Taurus had one of the rear suspension parts brefak right in the…read moredriveway. I had it towed somewhere I had used for years, they replaced the rear suspension. After that, the back end was loose in rain and snow. I took it back, as it was now burning through tires. The owner there told me everything checked out but it was clearly not right and they suggested me taking it to a tire and alignment place to get it fixed. I figured I would take it to Conklin Ford to have it looked over since maybe it was better to have Ford people look over a Ford. They told me the rear suspension was shot and that a bunch of other things needed to be done for a total of $2200. (the suspension was almost still brand new). Instead, I took it to the tire and alignment place in Newton who told me "this is an easy fix, one of the rear wheels is out of alignment". $89 and several years later, it's been perfect. I vowed not to go there again. Fast forward to 2026. In a weak moment, I brought in a Ford Edge after the brakes had trended softer after having a blown hose from the master cylinder replaced. They told me it was one of three (or all three) possible problems. Master, Brake Booster, ABS Pump. We replaced the master cylinder and then the brake booster, still not fixed. We are $1100 in. They wanted to replace the ABS pump, another $1700. I said no way and picked it up. My son-in-law drove it home and said it feels the same as when we took it in. So this past weekend, he took it to his brother's house and bled the brakes and it was fine and remains fine. In summary, in both of these cases, I would have spent thousands of dollars and neither problem would have been fixed. It seems that if there is not a code, they don't know how to troubleshoot and fix the problem. They seemingly use some kind of flow chart that anyone can use. The people are friendly, they communicate well, I just don't trust them to fix a problem that does not come from a computer.
