Combo platter

Had the combo platter, fried chicken was not bad, wasn't a big fan the pork chop, or the vegetables medley. Service was good understaffed our server had way too many tables, but she was very nice. It is very themed with live music

Fried Chicken, mashed potatoes, and vegetables

The servers were dressed in old Bavarian clothing. The restaurant is still decorated in old Bavarian style with wood furniture. The service was a bit slow. We had to wait quite a bit for our food. But our food came out hot. The popular Frankenmuth fried chicken was crispy, moist, and flavorful. The mash potatoes were good. But the vegetables were a bit too overcooked and bland. The bratwurst was good and the fries were decent. It would nice to have a few more fries on the plate. The chicken salad was good. The best part is their homemade dressing. They bring you a small container with the dressing. My friend used up the dressing on her salad. The sandwich was a bit disappointing. The Mac n cheese was good.

Margherita Pizza

My family and I ordered the Margherita Pizza ($28) and a couple of drinks at Oma's Restaurant during dinner. I love Margherita pizza, but unfortunately this one just didn't hit the spot. There wasn't enough of the house tomato herb relish, the crust was hard, and some of the slices were loaded with mozzarella cheese. For drinks, the coffee was good, but the Cosmo tasted like pure alcohol and the Blueberry Mocktail tasted just like Cherry Coca-Cola. Although the food and beverages were mediocre, service was great! Our orders also arrived within 20 minutes.

Saturday breakfast buffet

Inside the Bavarian Inn. We usually enjoy hotel diners/cafes but this one disappoints. Service was poor and we waited for ever. What they did bring was in one way or another, messed up. Menu was very basic and like everything else here, over priced. Take a pass.

Incredibly overpriced, greasy food. Soup was terrible, chicken tenders were rubbery, and soft pretzel was super crunchy. So disappointing!

The service was good and the decor was nice. The food was pretty bad, out of 6 people not one like it.

Old school Irish pub which has served Saginaw's heart for many decades. All of Saginaw's best have…read moremade their way through this bar at some point. If this bar was located in Chicago as is, it would be a popular every night stop. Here, it's effing dead during our midweek stop. The only eye candy was the bar maiden which was years younger than me, but with the dim light and sleepy appearance I really couldn't make out much. Booze can be a bit pricey, but not more than a chain restaurant. They have some very fine beer taps, clean lines so the beer taste is brisk. Many of their drafts and bottles are Irish reminiscent. Think of an older Irish pub, dark woods, dimly lit, the old smell of cigar smoke, pennant flags of coats of armor hanging from the ceiling. Dark tiled ceiling, rustic lamps and paintings, while the bar maiden had said they have a pretty good college following on college night, I'm believing their clientele more that most customers belong to the late thirty's and older plus crowd. I'm told that one could easily find an older cougar on the prowl or older well to do daddy looking for skullduggerous actions. Their men's room is a shanty and should be set a blaze. Pulling up to the stall I was to use my manhood to swat away like a swashbuckler at the hordes of fruit flies coming to attack thee. At least twenty or more, disgusting; the urinal has a permanent urine stain. The toilet stall was no better, here resided just a handful of fruit flies, but from the smell and look of the water, I'd say at least a few other men had pissed and not flushed before me. YUCKY, I hate the hair raising feeling of a filthy washroom. You have to imagine that others have sat on that toilet, poor fellow.. to sit and then find fruit flies flying up your ass. Terrible. Other then that bullshit, with the right band or banging DJ, you could be JUMPING around to some banging beats and having a great time. Parking is limited to the street and there are some local parking lots. I'm not sure about the neighborhood, it may have once thrived but is now lethargic.

The late night crowd really ruins this place for me.
