    Chili Verde Burrito

On my second visit here we stopped by for lunch and ordered the famous chili verde burrito and a potato taco. Both were delicious. The customer service is great. They have outdoor tables to sit down and enjoy your meal. We also had refreshments a Mexican Coke and a punch, free refills. The prices can't be beat. We will be visiting again soon.

Been eating Omañas tacos since they were in El Monte. Followed them here to Pomona. Still same delicious flavor. Highly recommend you all try these tacos. 5 's

Came here during lunch on a weekday. Ordered the Torta de asada, which was so filling. Reminded me of a Mexican In-n-out burger. Strange to say, I know! The service was good. I was the only one waiting for food so it came out quickly. The tables outside were perfect to sit at. The prices are fantastic, although they have gone up in recent years. Omanas is definitely fast casual or fast food because of how quickly it's made and how quickly it's in your belly. Good food for the price.

Been coming to Omañas for the longest and it's an absolute must! If I lived in the area, I would come here instead of King Taco. I love their tasty crispy tacos that are dipped in their famous salsa roja. The prices are very reasonable for the amount of meat and goodness that you get! Their burritos are giant, simple, and delicious! There's no place that has a salsa this yummy! Esta lo suficiente picante para saborearlo pero siempre le puedes agregar más! Would I come back? I always do when I'm in SoCal!

This visit I ordered a potato taco plate, which l comes with 3 tacos, rice and beans. I also ordered 2 asada tacos. Everything imwas super flavorful and you get a lot for what you pay. Be back again soon. Thank you!

    Same owners as el monte?

Hello, yes we originally started in El Monte. The Omaña family currently only has two locations (Pomona & Covina). However, the El Monte location has closed down.

DO they still have a C grade?

No They have an A grade currently (2/20/21)

    Is this place still open?

Yes, but don't go alone specially @ night. Not in the best area & not the best crowd. Guy @ window is great & Chile verde & chili relleno burritos are the two reasons why I go.

    What's this locations phone number?

    Yee

Not terribly inventive Mexican given what's out there in DTLA or even OC but kudos for attempts at menu expansion! I do think the guacamole is really good, the mezcal offerings are awesome, the decor is upscale and Happy Hour pricing is worthwhile. I find this restaurant very loud however. Because of that, I booked outside seating on OpenTable for Cinco de Mayo for drinks at 6:30 for 4 of us. We arrived at 6:25. We were notified that they were running behind, but still were not seated at 7... we were told there was no outdoor seatings coming up in the near future but they could honor our reservation shortly at an indoor table... but unfortunately it was club-decibel live music for the holiday so we went elsewhere. I do feel that managing holiday crowds and reservations is a reasonable expectation for a restaurant of this caliber/ price point. Recommend as a local option only but with a few caveats, not my top choice.

Unfortunately, we did have to wait around 30-40 minutes for the buffet to be ready.. we were served mimosas right away, which was nice. Now.. when it came down to the food, one person in my party did find a vey long hair in her chile relllenos. We made it know to our waitress.. which was a sweet person throughout everything!! Then we were told that the chilaquiles and taco station was now open.. so we headed down to it. There was no one to great us at the station. We stood around for around 10 minutes and no one showed up. So at that moment I grabbed a bowel of menudo. Lucky me!! I also grabbed a long hair in my menudo.. my sister in law thought it was a piece of onion but it was not! It was a very long strand of hair. At that point we all tried our best to make the best of it and enjoy the mariachi and mimosas. Then when I returned to the taco/chilaquile station the lady was very rude!! She bluntly asked what we wanted instead of telling us our options.. and I said I'll have 2 chorizo tacos please.. she said where's your plate?? I wasn't aware that I had to give her a plate to serve me. It was an overall horrible experience. Especially because we were literally the only party in the entire place besides the mariachi. The mariachi and our server were the only pleasant people that morning. I will never be returning.
