I love this place, and so do my children. However I feel guilt that I feel that way. My only complaint is the the enclosures for the exotic animals are depressing. In my opinion possibly inhumane, the poor wolves just pace all day. Tigers don't move. I avoid going through that area, and then feel bad that I have my money to go through the rest. read more

I take a busload of seniors at least once a year and they've enjoyed every single trip. I could nitpick about certain things but overall the staff is friendly and the animals seem content. And by purchasing tickets, we allow the doors to stay open. This keeps jobs going and helps care for the animals. The last trip was just a few days back and I saw a few things I'd never seen before. One was an albino peacock - and it was stunning. Coming around a corner we sent dozens of baby ducks scurrying for cover and the sight of all those tiny feathered behinds gave everyone a laugh. And there was a black and white baby goat - running, jumping, kicking - very cute and full of energy. It can get busy at times. This is spring break so for the first time I saw lines. And do buy a loaf of the bread. Most of the critters are moochers and will gladly stick their heads in the window for bread. If the bison lick your car, plan on a stop at a car wash. The trip to the farm is really scenic and the surroundings are beautiful. I recommend it. read more

I have to admit that at first, the high you get from feeding these animals by hand is very addicting. But the conditions in which the big cats and the wolves in particular are kept in is just appalling. The big cats are lethargic and in the smallest cages I've ever seen for such an animal. The wolves are constantly pacing and look like they are losing their minds. This is no place for these animals. It is depressing and heart breaking and wrong. I'm embarrassed that I gave this zoo my money. I want to give zero stars but in order to leave a review there has to be at least one. These roadside zoos have got to go. Horrific. Saw bears in cages full of dead grass in direct sunlight with no shade or water. People were throwing bread in the bear's face and yelling at it. More than one of the bears looked sick. Then wolves pacing frantically back and forth in cages the size of a living room. People were howling and yelling at them. This place is inhumane. It's apparently in the midst of a lawsuit for animal cruelty. I'm all for fun with animals but this was deplorable. My husband has a lot of nostalgic memories of this place so I hope for the locals sake they turn it into something that doesn't profit off of the suffering of animals. read more

So much fun here! A lot cheaper to buy your whole wheat bread at the farm instead of the grocery store. The best part is your entrance ticket is an all day pass so you can go around and feed the animals as much as you'd like. It's best to come in early in the morning when the animals haven't had their carb intake for the day yet! Another thing is to visit in the winter/fall to get the best experience, it was so much more traffic and a lot more crowded than in the winter. DO NOT GO TO THIS PARK! This place is a terrible example to children of how animals should be treated. This place should be shut down and all animals should be rescued! I took my niece to visit and as a lover of animals she was very upset to see animals in small cases without proper habitats as well as several bears who looked lethargic and ill. She was very upset to see an animal eating a plastic bag (from the loaves of wheat bread sold to tourists for feeding the animals.) I can't imagine eating wheat bread all day long is healthy for the animals! We wish we had done research before going. It turns out there is a law suit filed against the farm for negligence and poor care of the animals. We hope to see this place is closed down as soon as possible and that the animals find the love and care they deserve! read more

ABSOLUTELY!! not the mention, we are four 18 year old girls and the lady selling our ticket was the rudest person we've ever met in our life. She said "the only rule is stay in the car" then proceed to ask us for our license plate which we didn't have memorized so my friend began to hop out to check to which she SCREAMED AT US "DID I NOT JUST SAY STAY IN THE CAR???" we started to drive away super slowly and she screamed at us again saying FIVE MILES AN HOUR, threatened to fine us 1,500 dollars and then called security on us to follow us through the entire thing. we were so nice to her and she was genuinely one of the rudest humans i've ever met. I would say she single handedly ruined the experience, but unfortunately it was a combination of her, and the pacing, panting, crammed animals!! whatever you do DO NOT give this place ANY money. This place was a fun time and the animals are very cute and entertaining in the moment. However I just can't support how it's run. Wild animals like these should NOT be eating entire loaves of bread every single day. The people working the ticket booth recommended buying 1 loaf per person in the car so you can do the math with how many loaves they are giving out each day. They also recommended coming early in the day most likely because the animals are sick to their stomachs at the end of the day because they have eaten multiple loaves of bread and can't stomach anymore. My daughter and I went here while on a road trip. It was amazing to be that close to the animals. You can drive through as many times as you'd like per day paid. We made five trips around main loop. I was trying to feed the zebras, but they were never close enough on our trips through. We only made one trip through the Bison area. The male Bison are so huge and well worth one trip through but we were a bit apprehensive of making a second go through. Your car and windows will be all covered in slime and slobber. We bought a loaf of the whole wheat bread @ $2.00 and made a stop by the booth to pick up another. read more

Ok so we had some llama drama at the onset of our adventure. Those are some tenacious little things. They were very used to cars obviously so if they didn't want to move out the way cue honking and nudging to get going. My daughter thought it was hilarious albeit a bit stressful for the driver (I didn't want to hurt them). Yes, it's a bit sad to see some of the predators in small enclosures but realistically it is a zoo people. That's kinda what you bargained for. Great family activity but the "customer service" by the older woman in the gift shop ruined the whole experience . I brought two full carloads of out of town family, after driving thru we went and got food and then into the gift shop. Not only did she speak rudely to me but then loudly badmouthed me to her coworkers in front of customers after I walked out (while my family was still inside shopping). My cousin called her out on it and she tried defending her actions. My whole family decided not to spend anymore money there and we left. Rude, unexpected and unacceptable behavior that we have never experienced there before. We will not be back nor will I ever bring family there again. I understand it was busy but there is zero reason for that sort of behavior, especially after we had already spent so much . There are real highs and lows about this place. First off feeding the animals was a blast. I barely took any pictures/videos bc I was laughing so hard and had a 2-3 animals at a time poking their heads in slobbering on me! I highly recommend taking an SUV over a car there -especially with all of the huge bison mobbing your car -it could be really overwhelming. Like many reviewers noted the carnivor area was really a heart breaker and so we quickly passed that section. There were 4 of us that went (3 adults, 1 child) with 12 loaves of wheat bread that lasted us most of the drive in the park - I'm glad we didn't show up with any less (you can buy loaves at the main gate when you pay to enter). read more

I'm pretty sure you'd be hard pressed to find another place in the world that bison, llamas, reindeer and elk stick their heads in your car and eat out of your hands. It was a crazy experience, and our daughter loved it. They sell loaves of wheat bread for $2 there and admission was currently $14 for adults and free for kids under 5. It took about an hour to drive through the whole thing. The animals seem well-cared for and happy. The peacocks roaming everywhere were truly beautiful. The park was fun with being able to feed the free roaming animals. However, the small cages that all of the big cats and wolves are kept in is cruel and inhumane. There is enough land to give the wolves and big cats a more suitable space and create an environment more suitable for their size, it's very sad. They should not be kept in the small cages left to pace back and forth. The zebra's are also in tiny pens, they have no room to run. With the amount of land this place has they definitely have room to give these animals adequate space for their size. read more

This if a fun place for the family be sure to be ready for a wild good time it's a must stop if you are in i'm Washington. the animals are all happy and well cared for you can see the staff and place work hard to make sure every animal is well cared for and happy. Best part of the trip for my family was feeding elk small deer and buffalo you might have to go through the car wash when you leave the place drool and slobber all over your car make sure to take a vehicle that you don't mind getting dirty. Olympic Game Farm - Zoos Near Me - Sequim, Washington

I made my first visit here this past weekend. I was expecting to really enjoy it but was not prepared for what I saw. It was traumatizing and I definitely will not be visiting again or recommending others to visit. My main concern is for the bears, tiger, and wolf. The bears at least had space in which to roam, but most of them looked lethargic and sad. The tiger, all by himself in a small cage was heartbreaking, as well as a wolf who was also penned up and was pacing back and forth. There's been little to no effort made in creating a space that is similar to their natural habitats. After I got home, I did some research and found that there have been several lawsuits against this place for animal cruelty. The latest one was filed last September 2022, so I'm hoping action will be taken to shut this place down. My partner and I wanted to weep after we left the game farm. The wolves, lion, tigers, cougar, lynx and other penned up predator animals and bears need much larger spaces to roam, chase, hunt and play. They were kept in tiny 10 foot pens and looked utterly defeated in such unnatural habitats. These animals did not evolve to be penned up! We would never keep our pets in tiny pens to pace back and forth for their only exercise and stimulation all day. How can we be okay doing this to these majestic and intelligent animals? I am haunted by our callousness as a society in allowing this for our amusement. If much larger and more natural environments cannot be found for the predator animals and bears, it would be better for them to be put down then to live out their days suffering in such confined spaces. read more

Really enjoyed the drive through areas where animals have room to roam. Unfortunately they keep lions and wolves in small cages which is cruel/inhumane. If you love animals, please don't give your money to the Olympic Game Farm! I love animals and I was looking forward to an animal sanctuary/seeing the animals in their natural habitat type of trip, but my husband and I left feeling sad and disgusted. First, they allow you to buy wheat bread to feed to the animals. We went on a Monday and it was pretty busy for a week day. Car after car tossed wheat bread to yaks, zebras, llamas and some possibly sedated bears. I am no expert on animal nutrition, but it seemed odd watching a bear eat slice after slice of wheat bread. The people who run the Olympic Game Farm say that the animals receive other food to round out their diet, but how much could they possibly eat after people have stuffed 30+loaves of bread down their gullets? Second, they have beautiful wolves, baby bears and a tiger held in small 200 square foot cages. If you read complaints against Olympic Game Farm, the organizers will say that there is an additional 2,000 square feet for the wolves and other predators to run, but if you drive through, you will see that this is a lie. You can drive completely around the small enclosures and there is no additional space to be seen. Finally, as I stated before, it appears that the bears may be sedated. They were either lying or sitting in one spot and would not move, even if bread was tossed just out of reach. Additionally, they were panting heavily on a cool overcast day. If they are sedated, I can see why the park would do it-there are quite a few bears 5-8 in a small, 1-2 acre enclosure with a low electric fence. Overall, I was so disappointed with our trip here. It wasn't so much the herbivore/prey type animals, they seemed to have some room and were happy enough. But the bears, wolves and other predatory animals were such a sad sight. We will never go back and will make sure our friends and families know about this place as well. read more

Went to the Olympic Game Farm last week, and while we made the best of it, I would not recommend it to anyone who actually has a conscious (did not research it properly before going). It was quite shocking and really just sad how these animals are housed and the fact you are supposed to hand out BREAD to animals who are not meant to eat bread. But the most heartbreaking part is the intelligent predators they have caged in 10x15' muddy kennels, driven to madness from boredom and small quarters. The larger animals are in bigger fields and are conditioned to demand copious amounts of low quality "wheat bread" (which is not whole grain or anything even remotely close to a healthy quality bread, this is the type of $1 a loaf bread people buy trying to convince themselves they are eating healthy, but nice attempt) but they have dirty nasty straw piles everywhere that is covered in mold from being rained on and the animals stand in it and defecate all over it. The majority of animals are covered in feces. It's absolutely heartbreaking. The Bears.. Don't even get me started. They are left in small muddy enclosures surrounded by electric fences. you can see the life has left their eyes. It would be more humane to euthanize these animals instead of letting them live this way. I wish at this point I took pictures of the poor predatory animals living conditions to be able to show them to people, but I was too upset at the time to do that. The grounds has a domestic rabbit breeding problem and these rabbits congregate around the predator cages, some of them actually leaning against tiger and wolf pens- which has to be torture for these poor predators. The lions and tigers all live in the same types of kennels the other northwest animals live in, which their sleeping area consists of an open plywood shelter with straw in it. No real cover from wind and rain.. No heating devices nearby- so animals that are used to African climates are exposed to 20 degree northwest weather.... If you have children, teach them better than this. Don't bring them here. This isn't entertainment, it's practically genocide. This is exactly one of the many examples of why our planet is dying and why we as a civilization are doomed. We cannot respect nature or those that live in it. Its painfully obvious this place cares little about the general welfare of any other species than human beings. It is disgusting this is legal. read more

Really didnt want to go here once I learned this place was in fact NOT an animal sanctuary, but a "farm" where animals are confined to the area of which this company owns and the organization collects money to have cars drive through the roads and feed whole wheat bread to 80% of the animals here. As much as I wanted to opt out, I was on this vacation with little kids in another family who were INSISTING to go view it, so we did... First impression, all the animals seemed so..sad and desperate for food. Bread? Day in and day out? From strangers who find humor and entertainment from this? The bears were laying around in very small (imo) gated areas who didnt seem to give a care in the world. Fair warning: TONS AND TONS of birds are waiting around and WILL sit on your vehicle once they realize you are throwing free food out of the windows and will attack at each other once the availability of a morsel is made available. The COYOTES and TIGERS... The most depressing sight I have seen. Their kennels are rectangular and SMALL. You arent allowed to feed them, and you can just see them pace pace and PACE back and forth all about in a line with their heads and tails to the ground. There was a new looking more "spacious" if you must say it, confinement area that had a sign saying "future homes for the tigers" or something along those lines. My question is...why arent they there now? And what will happen to the coyotes? Will their homes be remodeled too? I just left this place feeling absolutely depressed about these animals literally CHASING your vehicle down for bread May be cute and fun for kids and unaware people, but we should really start bringing more awareness to the corruptness that there is to animals in this world. Please dont support this farm. Please educate yourselves and your families about why this sort of organization is wrong. read more

I had a blast coming here, especially when I was learning wildlife photography with my new camera. It's great being able to interact with the animals (even if you have to stay in your vehicle). My absolute favorite part was waving at the bear, and him/her waving back! I was absolutely hysterical afterwards. Buying the loaf of bread made it that much more fun. It did make me a little sad to see the animals in cages, and sad to have a deer jump up on my car, but all in all, it was worth every penny. read more

I had never been here, and my boyfriend had been as a kid - so basically this was both of our first times. My experience was really bi-polar honestly. I wasn't happy about the bread that I was feeding the animals, but I chose not to get upset about that. I understand that my obsession with organic, quality foods isn't universal (never mind it's not their diet). Either way, of course I was ecstatic about feeding peacocks, elk, bison, etc. I squealed like a child when a bison stuck it's head in my car & demanded bread. However, for me personally - I really struggled with the predatory animals. The tears started at the bears & escalated at the wolves, tigers, etc. These are highly intelligent creatures & if you pay attention and consider yourself in their position - it's easy to understand why the animals seem, quite frankly, depressed. That entire area was awful for me & I genuinely believe those animals deserve better - they should be in sanctuaries living out their lives as naturally as possible. Not waving their hands for bread, which is clearly a trained response. That entire section added no value to the park for me, it greatly retracted from it in fact. I understand how "crazy, hippy, tree hunger" that is - but until they're retired I will not be returning to this business, nor will I recommend it to anyone I know. read more

Lady working here on Wednesday at 12:45 at ticketing area was an asshole. Their sign with pricing is by the booth. Not visible if they walk up to you. So we told her 5 adults and one child. Very obvious that my dad the one paying is in his 60's and so is my mom. Had we been able to see the signs we would have told her that two are seniors. Also let me preface this by saying there was another adult and my dog in the car. Since my dog was barking she said it wouldn't be a good idea for him to come. So my sister and my dog stayed back. We let her know this when we got upfront. Even though she saw her leave the car. Which wasn't the end of the world, it made sense. She was such a terrible experience. She hates her life. If you're so rude to people, you're probably even shittier of a person to animals who can't say anything back to you. Well she didn't want to refund us for my sister leaving the car( weird because she basically asked us to). We didn't even pass the actual pay booth at this point. She gave an attitude and then finally refunded us for that. But before she started that refund, we let her know we had two seniors in the car and because since their isn't a sign where she came to ask us to pay we didn't know their was a discount. She refused to refund us that. We asked for bread as a replacement for not refunding us the difference. Literally what a terrible experience before we even went into the facility. Would never recommend this place to anyone based on that. After seeing the lions, panther, raccoon, bears in such small areas. I would deff never recommend this place. It's disgusting. The animals deserve better. The areas are filled with poop. It's sad. The hyenas displayed signs of stress. Go to an actual animal rehab facility or an animal sanctuary.
