If you have never: 1) had your car windows washed by bison tongue; 2) been waved to by a bear; 3) been smiled at by an elk or zebra; 4) had a yak or deer come to you and say "yes, please" for bread; then this is where you want to go! Your entry ticket is valid all day, and you purchase the wheat bread onsite. Highly recommend for any age range. I don't care if you are 3, 30, or 93, everyone loves a cute animal sticking its face in your face. First, believe them when they say the animals know what to do and you should move along at a brisk 10mph, with little to no stopping. Yes, it feels weird moving along with a llama neck through your window but they DO move. At the gate, which you can drive right up to, you can purchase loaves of bread to feed the animals - buy as many as they recommend. You WILL run out. Not only is there a peacock every five feet (and yes, they eat the bread), but there are so many four-legged furry friends running up to partake. In addition to herbivore types, there is an entire predatory animal section, some in enclosures but others like the bears you CAN feed. The bears can't come over - there is an electric fence - so don't ask them to! You are told not to stop at all in the bison and elk area. Is it a bit pricey? Well, what's pricey these days besides everything? I do wish they charged per car instead of per person yet I'm sure it takes a lot of moola to feed these animals so I don't mind helping out. You are allowed to drive around in as many circles as you want (you can even leave and come back, if on the same day); and you can stop again to get more bread if needed, so all in all it's a pretty good deal and makes for a pretty good day! read more

I saw this place online and had to make a quick pit stop. Do note that it's roughly 2 to 2 and a half hour drive from Seattle so please plan ahead! To be frank, you can experience the whole park within 30 mins but you can go around as much as you'd like up until closing (your admission is good for all day). You start off by pulling up to a little booth where you pay for admission and purchase the loaves of bread to feed the animals. One thing they'll remind you time after time is that you should not feed any outside food to the animals, they will kick you out of the park if you break this rule (there's plenty of staff driving around to enforce this rule). When you drive around, the animals walk straight to your car! Be aware that you will be covered in slobber or crumbs. Your car may also be covered in slobber or scratches (from the animals) if not too careful. One tip I would recommend is to not use yo all your bread right away. Remember you can drive around the park multiple times (it's a giant loop). I would drive around one to see what animals are out and about and then drive around again to experience the feeding. I love animals so this was a great experience for me and I ended up spending over an hour and a half at the park. A great place to visit for sure! read more

We arrived when they first open which ended up being the perfect choice. There were fewer people and the animals were all alert and hungry. We saw a lot of baby animals and loved the bison and elk. There is no where else you can safely get this close to these animals. After going through the car path twice our daughter enjoyed the petting zoo. One of the coolest wild animal drive thru parks I've ever been to! At Olympic Game Farm, upon arrival you're greeted by staff and learn the rules of the farm. You have the option to purchase bread to feed the animals, $5 per loaf, and must adhere to the posted signs. General admission is $25/per person but is good for the entire day. You pay per person not per car load and we went thru twice. We saw every animal up close and personal. While they are all giants beasts, they are very tame and people friendly; they know the drill and come to you every time for food! I'm sure it sounds excessive but we bought a dozen loaves and went thru 3 times, lol and had the most amazing/new experience each time thru. The staff is all very friendly and there's employees roaming every area to ensure guests are compliant with the rules. This is a must see if you're traveling to the North West! HARD NO. I have been thinking about this the proper way to address the experience that I had at the Olympic Game Farm. This place is literally screaming liability. Following my visit, I was not surprised to find that Olympic Game Park is a party to lawsuits for animal mistreatment and featured in several papers for their treatment of animals. The pens are extremely small for the predator type animals (wolf, tigers, etc.). I was not able to find whether there were any suit in regard to negligence due to the danger to public. My issue is the lack of staff or overall incompetence of the staff at this facility. There are a lot of signs at the park, like "Don't stop near the entrance of the pens." The issue is that there is no one actually enforces the signage at the park, which creates the dangerous situations of cars getting sandwiched with wild animals surrounding them (This is what happened to me). For perspective, I was driving a truck and still feared for mine and the animals safety. Additionally, the staff is not fully transparent in regard to the reality of the park. The disclosure given and posted is to "Lock your doors." This is seems totally reasonable and easy to do (they don't tell you the animals can actually open doors with their teeth and they will try to do that is you run out of food). My car end up being scratched from this experience. I will not be returning nor will I be recommending it to friends. Not a pleasant experience in the bison/elk field at all. The staff should rethink car control for the safety of visitors and the animals. read more

We were having fun until we came upon the wolves and large cats. Their enclosures are too small. The pacing and panting of the wolves, tiger and cougars was disturbing. Are they in distress? I'm not an expert but those cages were too small. We liked seeing the hoofed animals that were running free. The bears were cool too, but again, are their enclosures appropriate? This is my second time coming w/ my kids and their cousins, and each time we do think that it's kind of crazy this place is still operating. But, the animals roaming do have a lot of space, are very tame, and where else would you ever be feeding yaks, deer, elk, llamas and bison through the windows of your car?! It is nuts, but we laughed so loud. We, and everyone we saw, were very respectful of the animals, and they have cameras everywhere to make sure guests are being careful and respectful. I bought a book on the history of the place, and it is petty fascinating. And as a former zookeeper from two different AZA-accredited zoos, I can say the animals and their enclosures seemed very well cared for. After a trip through the bison yard, my face hurt from smiling. Tip for visitors : buy as much bread as they will allow you at the entrance because you'll use it all! Guaranteed. Knowing personally people who work here, I first wanted to comment that these animals were not captured for the purpose of this farm. Predatory animals such as bears, tigers, and wolves in most cases were surrendered by circus type scenarios or illegal owners, and the animals would otherwise be euthanized if they did not end up here. They are elderly and not at a point in their lives where they desire large areas to roam - they refer to it as the old folks home for animals. The staff care deeply for these animals and give them lots of love and attention. Other than this comment, know it will be surprisingly busy for how far away it is from large cities. Also, it is very important (especially in the bison area) for the safety of your vehicle that you slowly keep moving. This place is a gem. You have to buy their bread to feed the animals and you drive through the park. My favorites were the Yaks, peacocks and Bison. I feel for the bears, wolves and lion in captivity but the animals seemed to be well for the most part. Not sure if it's something I'd go back to but if you're bored would be worth a stop.
