The food is not good. It's definitely mediocre/terrible bar food. The fish tacos were over cooked and super dry, the mangoes weren't ripe, the guacamole tasted like it was rotten. The server was nice abs tried to be helpful. Maybe just go for some drinks? I'll never eat here again. read more

Great for breakfast on Kauai. Superior for its TALL coffee cups and great people watching. Also, fresh papaya often accompanies the omelets and scrambles which are all delicious (even the one with tortilla chips in it.) However, avoid at night at all costs. This location has been a lot of different restaurants. This trip, it was the Olympic Cafe. The food was just so so for me. I picked the quesadilla that didn't list cilantro as an ingredient. I asked if there was cilantro in it and the waitress said no. Then she remembered the salsa did. So I asked for it without. After about 15 minutes of waiting for our food, the waitress came back out and said the guacamole had cilantro in it and that I could just scrape it off since it was already on my food. I ate here twice this week. The food and drinks are reasonably priced, the service was fast, and the portions were good. The open air atmosphere is very relaxing, and we enjoyed watching the world go by below us from the 2nd story location. The food was amazing! huge, I mean HUGE portions!!!! Great location as well. The only thing which was lacking was service where our waitress had to be told twice to bring us our water (which we ordered along with cocktails) and she did not omit the avocado as requested by my friend. Aside from that, I am surprised the overall rating of this place is so low... Great place in Kapa'a for drinks and the food was better than I expected!

We had an excellent experience. Decided to order appetizers for lunch. There must have been 3/4 lb. of seared ahi. Well seasoned. The wasabi dipping sauce was dynamite. The bed of coleslaw was terrific. The calamari was plentiful & well prepared. Add a chicken quesadilla with large moist chucks of chicken breast. It was great. We decided to share a piece of carrot cake. It was huge & as good as any I've ever had with wonderful frosting & lots of walnuts. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was funky but it didn't pretend to be anything it wasn't. We took home 1/2 the carrot cake & 1/2 of the quesadilla! read more

Not too impressed. The pork plate was good, lacked a little flavor. The guavarita was strong but lacked the guava flavor. (I probably would have ordered a couple more and not made it down the stairs) Our wings were cold on the inside which is definitely not ok for hot wings. My husband said his pork burrito wasn't great. Other than the good view over the Main Street on Kapaa for their first Friday, we weren't impressed and probably wouldn't go back. read more

I had a burger that was delicious! My friends had the Alfredo pasta (simple and with shrimps) and they both loved it, and they shared that their fries where amazing! This place has an amazing happy hour and a great dive bar vibe! My husband and I stumbled onto this place while spending the day in Kapa'a. Their food is decent...what would be expected in a bar and the portions are HUGE. I mean I could never come close to finishing my food! I had the amazing cobb salad and my husband ordered the burger. Both were great and very reasonably priced! I would say overall that this place has great prices and good food! Come for happy hour, it's the best time! read more

We loved this place. Came once for dinner - their drinks were huge and strong! I had a delicious burger and waffle fries - one of the best burgers I've ever had. My boyfriend had a pasta with shrimp - they forgot his shrimp, but quickly corrected and brought it out in less than 5 minutes. We went again for breakfast another day - he had a delicious spinach omelet and I had a breakfast burrito, which was ENORMOUS. It was over a foot long - I didn't finish it, but it was so good. We had great waitresses both times, and it's fun to sit and overlook the street. Will definitely come back here. read more

This was our go-to breakfast spot while in Kauai! This is an open air restaurant which being in Hawaii was lovely! A cute little bird came in and sat next to my boyfriend which was cute. The breakfast food was great! My boyfriend got the California omelette almost every time we went, the omelette was great and the avocado was very fresh tasting! I got the coconut pineapple pancakes, I'm still dreaming about them! Amazing! The service was great, every waitress we had - very friendly. The mimosas have different flavors which was a fun change from the standard! The only downfall was that when we went for lunch the food wasn't as great. Ok spot in Kapa'a above the main street. Normal American good nothing local really, maybe some drinks. It's more of a vacationers place. Good was alright. Pulled pork quesadillas were dry. We have eaten here before and both service and food have been great. Not so much today though. We placed our food order and it took about 40 minutes to arrive and it was lukewarm and mine was wrong. I ordered pineapple, as my side, and it arrived with waffle fries. Once the food finally arrived no one came and checked in us until we were finished eating. There were approximately four other tables and several staff so there is no reason this should have occurred. This will be our last meal here. read more

Absolutely horrible food and service. The burger we ordered was basically raw. Everything was cold and soggy. When speaking with the manager she played it off and said the burger was not that undercooked and did not think anything was really wrong.
