I took the sales managers advice and purchased my vehicle at a different dealership…read more Went to this dealership to get numbers for a 2026 HRV EXL. Efe O the salesman said the color I wanted was super rare and he hadn't seen it before. Meanwhile 3 dealerships in the area had Nordic Forest Green with black interior. He presented the first offer and I asked him to separate out the dealership discounts and my car trade in value and he refused. The sales manager then came over and told me he couldn't go any lower and that the offer I had from another dealership was either a lie or I was mistaken on what I was purchasing. He also called my trade in car junk which is an interesting thing to say to a potential customer. I recommend any other Honda dealership in the area before coming to this one!

The he criticized my "demeanor"after I told him his options weren't even close and I would probably buy my current leased car on line for cash. I walked out after the "demeanor"comment. I guess because I'm a woman I'm supposed to be really nice no matter how much I'm ignored. I'm guessing there would be. nothing wrong with my demeanor if I was a man. My "demeanor" was "not interested" and annoyed because you wasted my time, Jake. Pretty predictable given the circumstances.

You know that "free code diagnoses" you can get at AutoZone!!!!!???? Well Subaru of TROY charges you 200 Dollars to plug a diagnostic handheld into your dashboard $200 fricken dollars for what others do for free!!!!!???? And it only gets worse from there. An Ambient Air Temp sensor replacement cost me almost $600 Dollars. NEVER go there.

I am highly disappointed with my experience related to my 2023 Subaru Forester purchased from…read moreSubaru of Troy. During a routine vehicle inspection in Massachusetts, my vehicle failed due to all four tires being completely bald on the inside. The inspecting mechanic noted that the vehicle is a 2023 and still had the original 2023 tires, and stated that this type of uneven wear should not have occurred this early or before 30,000 miles. They indicated the most likely cause was an alignment issue present when the vehicle was sold. When I brought this concern to the dealership's service department, I was told this was "normal wear" for these vehicles and that the tires installed by the manufacturer are standard. However, the expected lifespan for these tires is approximately 50,000-60,000 miles, making this explanation unacceptable. This condition did not meet vehicle safety standards and required immediate corrective action. Replacing all four tires and performing an alignment was a steep out-of-pocket expense that was in no way covered or assisted by the dealership, despite the vehicle still being under warranty and this issue reasonably appearing to stem from a pre-existing alignment problem. I would advise others to consider this when deciding about a dealer and advise they confirm the alignment is accurate for a new car before driving off the lot.

Took a few days to mull it over then went back and bought it. I've had it for over two years now and I've taken it back to the service department for state inspections and oil changes. It hasn't needed anything else. They really go through it to to bottom before selling it. And this car is 17 years old. The service department is great. They don't add on extra things wrong like some other service department or try to up their cash flow by recommending things you don't need like a lot of quick oil change places do. This is the honest mechanic I've been looking for. All in all I'm really happy with the Bob Karl experience. When this car eventually dies, I'll definitely be back to buy another. I'd give ten stars if I could. Extremely highly recommended!

So far I've had to have the brake lines, portion of the fuel line, quick disconnect, fuel evac hose and solenoid, transmission pressure sensor replaced and a rebuilt differential installed. I also replaced the passenger side mirror. So now I have a 16 year old car that I've had to put about another $5000 in repairs. Later I found out that Carfax listed the car as a total lose. My bad for not checking sooner. Bob says he doesn't get Carfax because of a bad experience. I once asked him via email if he would have bought the car had he gotten the Carfax. I didn't get a reply. Bottom line, I have a 16 year old car that's cost me about $11,000.

Initially it looked like a private sale, but the pictures made him question if he were a dealer. He said yes I'm a dealer. The whole process made him uncomfortable, the guy seemed shady. He went there to look at the car and was going to buy it and he said oh I have to get it inspected. He left and he texted the next day saying he needed a copy of his drivers license. He told him he was questioning buying the car from him, he replied "I'm not going to screw you over". He went there that evening test drove it and during the test drive he kept telling him how he just sold a apartment building and the guy who lived there I think kept telling him he (the car salesman) murders people. He cut the test drive short. The car seemed to drive ok it looked good, but looks can be deceiving. Regretfully against his gut feeling because the guy seemed shady, he bought the car for $8500.00. He drove it home a little over an hour drive, when he got home he smelt something so he looked under the car and something was dripping from under it. He brought it to his Toyota dealer 5 minutes from his house, the verdict the car has a transmission leak. Now he looks back and remembers when he went to look at it he parked it on the grass. I'm sure because he knew it had this leak and knew he probably wouldn't notice it if it were parked on the grass. Now he's telling him he damaged it driving it home. This guy is a crook!! Do not do business with him!!
