Well, the experience is a down-hill spiral…read more As soon as I told them I wanted something for $3000 or less, all customer service stopped. And "3000andunder" is their motto and their website domain!!!!! Trocci's refuses to return phone calls or emails. Mind you, these emails are through their website. They promise prompt reply, but nothing. I stop by to speak with a salesperson again and again, and I am simply ignored. OK, Tom and Alyssa spoke with me, but they have to go through the "sons", and they have their noses too high in the air. Be VERY WARY of Trocci's. Do your homework, and realize that they have no caring for customer service or quality whatsoever. I discovered that they DO NOT INSPECT the majority of their vehicles, so do your homework. Of course, get a mechanic to look at it, as long as it is not Matus or the garage next door, because they are partners. Do a freeVIN check with NHTSA.org where you will find that the majority of their vehicles have serious and life-threatening open recalls (non-fixed). Tom and Alyssa are very nice. The others....you're just in their way if you are a customer. The good reputation they once had was due to their father, when the business was theirs. Alright, so they have a booming business, and gobble up the used car inventories, so they have a corner on the market. They even allegedly have 3 other lots, although they refuse to share their location. But is this a reason to treat others as inferiors just because they don't have enough money to buy the most expensive cars. Remember, their motto is "$3000 and under", and remember that is just hype.

The service person let me know that it would be two hours and the lunch hour before the repairs would be completed. I was surprised when he came back in just under 2 hours and said that the mechanic waited to take their lunch until my car was completed. I was amazed and the price was less than I would expect to pay elsewhere. I have always taken my cars for service here over the past 4 plus years I have lived here even though t is not the closest Chevy/GM dealer to me. It is because of service like this that I will continue to bring my vehicles back her to be serviced and they will get a nod for our next auto purchase.

In 2021, I was in a bad accident and unfortunately, my beloved 2008 Civic was totaled. With…read moremanufacturers shutting down during covid, it was rough finding a nice Honda with no accidents and a price that I could afford with the mileage I was looking for. I had a horrible experience with another dealership and started looking at other dealerships. That's where McElwain came into play! I was still pretty injured, so I couldn't come in until a few days later, but Tim made me feel at ease. He originally took my call about the Honda I saw online, and when I asked if it had a clean title, he not only texted me the answer, but a picture of the report. I planned on coming in the next day, but due to a change in plans, I was able to come that same day. He answered every text and informed me that he would tell me if the car had been sold, so we wouldn't drive up to find out then. He also let me know the policy on used cars due to how quickly they're moving right now- something that the guy at the other dealership never cared to do. As you can tell by now, I had a bitter taste in my mouth from my previous experience and expected every salesman to be the same. Tim was not. He went above and beyond, and every single person that we encountered was extremely friendly and eager to help. Tim was finishing up with another customer, so another guy pulled the car around. I didn't catch his name, but he was extremely friendly! Once Tim finished up, we took a test drive and all talked on the ride. Not once did I feel pressured into buying. Tim was so personable and laid back, and I got really good vibes from the business and atmosphere which made me purchase me awesome new Honda that day! He was straight forward with pricing and negotiation and it was such a painless process. Matt, the finance guy, was also super friendly and made the paperwork a breeze. He was so welcoming and never pressured me to purchase anything additional. I really appreciate that! For the first time in two weeks following my accident, I finally felt content. I miss my old civic like crazy, but I am so happy with how my experience went that I know I made the best choice by purchasing my car from McElwain. I drove away tonight no longer being afraid to drive and look forward to making great new memories in my new Honda.
