    Sea urchin pasta
    Sam Y.

Ordered: Sea Urchin Pasta, Cod Roe Pasta, Zucchini deep fried chips, Tiramisu, Crab Pasta. Price: About £15 for the pasta, and Tiramisu £5, and in total: about £40 per head for a healthy size. Review: My father found this gem in Belgravia (well on the borders)...ok victoria/pimlico....anyway....the food....is divine. If you are looking for that quaint, family style sicilian esque place...you've found the deal. My FAVOURITE pasta is the cod roe pasta - I don't remember the name as I remember it in Japanese (as there is a similar one in Japan) but my goodness, if you like seafood and pasta, you know where to go!

Best pasta I've ever had in London! I was looking for a good restaurant where I can have good pasta like the ones we can have in Italy. But I ended up having tasteless, too soft pastas... This Olivo has changed my impression of no good pasta in London! Looks like Sardina part of Italy featured restaurant, the 2 different pastas we had were both very tasty! Also Sardinian ham on melon is must have for starter! I think I will repeat going to this restaurant when I'm craving for good pastas.

I really enjoyed this place. I got the pasta with sausage, nice and al dente. Good breads, too. Delicious food, convenient location.

We came for Saturday breakfast since we were planning to be in Knightsbridge for the afternoon. We ordered their black truffled scrambled eggs on toast, crushed avocado on sourdough with poached eggs, and the ripe honey mango w/Thai basil & kaffir lime and some pastries. The black truffled eggs were good especially with the entire surface covered in black truffles, but to me the toast was a bit dry and the creamy eggs weren't enough to overcome the dryness in the toast. The star of the meal was the honey ripe mango. It was perfectly ripe with the hint of basil and kaffir lime in each bite. The presentation was simply beautiful. The decor and ambience is casual but at the same time elegant. There are elegant details everywhere starting at the entrance door and throughout the restaurant - the table top, the metal stamped H, I, D or E letters imbedded randomly on the edge of the tables, to the hearth where their pastries and bread are baked and showcased, and the opaque glassed kitchen above the main dining area where you see outlines of the staff working. Breakfast at HIDE was a pleasant and memorable dining experience. Will try dinner service next time. HIDE is located across from Green Park, not far from Buckingham Palace, and not too far from Knightsbridge. It's an ideal location when in the area.

Because of this, I'm always looking to try new places for wine. We happened to finish up our shopping on Jermyn street, and Fortnum and Mason were around the corner so we stopped in for something to relax. First, it is inside Fortnum and Mason and it's downstairs. So you must traverse through all the goodies to get to the place. It's not huge, but it is a nice place. They do wines by the bottle, glass or, if you're feeling super experimental, by the flight. I'm a huge fan of wine flights, and we opted for the champagne of the month flight. It was three glasses from their featured bubbly. And they were all good. The service can be a bit slow at times, but it's impeccable. They really go above and beyond when they make a mistake or there is a problem! There was a slight problem with our bill (the price of the flights were £3 too high), and while it took them awhile to get it sorted, they made sure we were completely happy before we left. (A little extra bubbly on the house? Don't mind if I do!) If I'm in the area, I'll be back. It's a bit pricier than other places, but it's nice to have a variety.

It was a Sunday afternoon, and were surprised how easily we were about to find seats even though it was packed like sardines upstairs. We started drooling over the cheese cart, so we ordered the selection of 3 for £12 (2 for £8, 5 for £15) and it came with a wonderful mix of crackers (or biscuits as you Brits call it) and bread. Definitely come here after a day of shopping in the area.
