Haddock and pesto risotto
Rane R.

I've been hearing so many great things about this restaurant since they opened and finally got to check it out. It's cute, not too big, lovely bar and solid date night spot. As someone who's fortunate enough to try really great eats, I wasn't blown away by my meal, the dessert however was unbelievably tasty. I had a special, haddock with a pasta and pesto. It was super dry and the pasta was under seasoned. We tried the wings, the sauce was on-point, but the wings weren't crispy. The hubby had a Peruvian inspired lomo saltado which was good. Okay so this dessert was amazing. I'll go back just for the pistachio croissant bread pudding. So I've been struggling with adding this part and decided to add it in hopes the restaurant does some staff training to ensure patrons are 100% satisfied especially when you're dropping $200+ on dinner. My husband ordered a pain killer. It's a pretty classic drink and when they brought it over he was confused because it didn't look like the usual. The waitress commented that they use clarified coconut vs coconut cream. It would be nice to include that in the menu description and honestly, it wasn't good. He took maybe two sips from it and left it there. It was noticeable that the drink wasn't satisfactory and it was also noticeable that the waitress saw he wasn't drinking it and never asked about it even after coming to clear plates, pack leftovers, bring dessert menus, bring and clear dessert and coffee. That was unfortunate because it left an impression. It won't stop me from trying the place once again, but it was a real bummer.

Texted about 45 minutes ahead of time before we left Plymouth and had 2 bar seats ready for us when we arrived. Parking was easy across the street although I'm not sure this would be the case in the summer. It did seem like a lot of street parking was available as well. Cool cocktail list, interesting menu and fantastic service. Bartenders were friendly, welcoming and offered great recommendations. Everything we had to eat was fantastic and I can't wait to return to try more of the menu. This time we ordered the scallops and bacon, Caesar salad, New Orleans style shrimp, swordfish puttanesca and cheesecake for dessert. Many gluten free options as well and the staff was very knowledgeable which my wife appreciated. Awesome restaurant!

Our 4th year together!

We had our 4 year anniversary & enjoyed it very much. The staff and (owner) were super attentive to our needs. They were pleasant & kind & aimed to please. The sirloin steak special was outstanding. The steak melted in your mouth. The craft cocktails & pistachio bread pudding dessert was amazing. I also recommend the Brussels for an appetizer. WOW. If you want a cozy, intimate atmosphere with coastal food you need to stop in.

Churros

As expected, everything wad fantastic. I'd definitely recommend reservations as it's a tight space. The staff were great. The brussel sprouts were amazing. The Caesar salad with salmon was so good. The crispy chicken add on was also great. The churros were the perfect way to finish the meal. I can't wait to get back here!

The menu is almost intimidatingly vast when you include the specials, but to make things easier,…read moreyou must get scallops. The fried combo is a fine choice with the aforementioned mollusk plus scrod. I was off regular chowder for a while due to my clear RI obsession but with the excellent Fathoms concoction I was happy to revisit the "regular" version. And given the relative dearth of great iced tea in "the world's best city" I was thrilled to find a great one at Fathoms.

I've been in the mood for scallops for a while now and tonight was finally the night! I stopped by…read morewith my significant other and two friends and overall I was happy with our experience. The restaurant itself is on a little island and has waterfront seating even though it was too cold for us to sit outside. Our waitress was kind but not overly attentive. However, it didn't hinder our overall experience. We made a reservation and were sat immediately. The menu was large with many different options for cocktails, appetizers, pizza, sandwiches, and a variety of main courses. Most dishes are going to run you between $25-40. Everyone had the scallops tonight- I did the scallop and clams plate and my companions did some of the other scallop options. I was very happy with the scallops themselves- they were sweet and fried well. I wish there were more on the plate as I only had about 5-6 smaller scallops. The fries were great and nicely crispy. My only real complaint is the clams- they were not as crispy and a little on the blander side. For $33 I think the portion sizes could have been bigger as well. My friends all liked their dishes and I would definitely come back at another time to try some of their other dishes.

We came in for a Valentine's Day lunch with my mom and had an absolutely wonderful experience. Our…read moreserver, Ray, was incredibly helpful, offering great suggestions for wine, appetizers, and entrées. We started with the calamari with spicy peppers and salsa rossa, which was delicious, well seasoned and very generous in portion. The Caesar salad with lemon-garlic dressing and a parmigiano crisp was perfectly balanced and fresh. The cacio e pepe arancini were a delightful surprise and quickly became a favorite at the table. For entrées, the scallops with risotto were outstanding. The Chicken Bosco and Chicken Francaise were both amazing: tender, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. For dessert, my mom loved the caramel apple cannoli, which paired perfectly with her cappuccino. It was an excellent meal from start to finish, with attentive service and great food. We'll definitely be back.

I ordered takeout, so I can't speak to the atmosphere or service here. For the price, though, I…read moreexpected better tasting food. The zuppa toscana was flavorful but arrived a bit cold, which affected the texture. (Not necessarily their fault) but it paired well with the complimentary rosemary bread. It was so soft and easily the highlight of the meal, though the butter was quite salty. The chicken Milanese was cooked well, and the arugula and tomatoes were fresh, but the sweet, Italian dressing adjacent sauce didn't work for me. My fiancé ordered the pizza which was also just okay. We topped it with balsamic drizzle which elevated it. Overall, I wasn't very impressed and will likely stick to my usual spots, like Ma Raffa's, for Italian. They also forgot the silverware I requested, which wasn't a big deal but worth mentioning. All in all, I'm sure there are better things to order from here, but I wasn't wowed by anything I tried.
