I had seen my dentist for over 30 years, and changing dentists was not something I wanted to do. As an older person, however, I started to have some pricey dental issues. I needed to get dental insurance and find an in-network dentist. My insurance agent, whom I trust, recommended Dr. Olivia Cajulis, who is his dentist. It's been a refreshing change. Dr. Cajulis is very caring and skilled. When the temporary tooth the horrible oral surgeon, my old dentist, sent me to fell out, she took the time to get it back in, so I wasn't toothless while we were waiting for my crown to come in. This was my front tooth, and for you older people who may get this, I looked like Alfred E. Neuman without it. The lab they used for my crown was also excellent, and the color match for this high-profile tooth was amazing. We are moving on to do some other work, including treatment for a couple of cracked teeth to avoid the expense of a crown. I incurred significant expenses for the implant on the front tooth, which Dr. Cajulis is sensitive to. She has been gracious in the charges to fix up this old man's mouth and help me afford a mouth guard to protect my now very expensive mouth. The office staff has also been very helpful. I'm not a fan of change, but in this case, a change to Dr. Cajulis has been good. read more

After over a decade, I can no longer recommend this office. They broke my trust. First, they said I had a cavity. They urged me to get it filled ASAP. So I did, with the junior dentist at their office. She drilled into my tooth, saw there was in fact no cavity. Oops. Now I have a new hole in my head. She also nicked my bridge during the operation. Bridges are very expensive. When I got home and noticed the damage I sent her an email and photo asking them to make it right. What I got back was not in any way satisfactory. No offer to make it right. No acceptance that she nicked my bridge. And no I'm sorry from Dr. Cajulis for putting me into unnecessary surgery. I strongly, strongly recommend that if you truly care about your teeth you find a different dentist. read more

We took our toddler to see Dr. Cajulis this week. She was great with her, as was the hygienist! Also, we appreciate that Dr. Cajulis's practice is safer for those of us who need to (or want to) maintain protections against viral infections. As a person who needs to be careful with the health of vulnerable members of her family, I was so glad to find a dentist who has installed high-powered air filters, still runs HEPA filters in her waiting room, requires that people stay masked in the back unless they're getting treated, etc. That definitely lessened my stress levels! After years of being a patient of Dr. Cajulis, many things have changed. There is a constant upselling, for instance, I don't believe in x-rays every single year, they require you to sign a document that you are forgoing x-rays. Their billing is a mess, on my last trip the lady that takes your payment attempted to charge me for a type of cleaning that I did not have, after I requested she check with the hygienist that I had a standard cleaning she admonished my Hygienist for confirming that I simply had a standard cleaning and that I should not be charged for something I did not receive. Unfortunately, what was once an amazing Dental Office has become a factory of separating you from your wallet. read more

3 month update---my top front teeth are now jetted/buck teeth, loose and gums receding due to you casually shaving down a tooth which misaligned my jaw. i am in pain daily and can't close my mouth properly. don't let any dentist shave down your teeth for any reason it is not the correct way. read more

Dr. Cajulis deserves so many more stars. I found her researching covid safe dentists and went after 5 years of not seeing a dentist due to covid. Not only is she covid safe, masking is required, but she is one of the best if not the best dentist I've ever seen. She is brilliant, kind, caring, puts you completely at ease, explains each procedure as she goes and best of all her work is impeccable and beautiful. I've had two crowns replaced, a filling replaced on a front tooth that matches my other teeth so well I can't even tell which tooth it is. She also coordinated care with my endodontist and is overseeing my care at a periodontist. Her staff is also incredible. Charmaine is fantastic and Kay is so helpful and kind. Everyone in the office is so caring. Oh, and after the crown replacements, two done in the same visit, Dr. Cajulis called me that evening to make sure I was doing well. I cannot stress enough how much you shouldn't come to this office. This past visit they took extra x-rays without informing me they weren't covered by my insurance. I explicitly tell them each time I can't pay anything my insurance doesn't cover (outside of copay). Now I'm fighting them over a bill I shouldn't owe. The previous visit they assigned me under a hygenist that was "out of network", despite taking my insurance information and knowing what insurance I had, again, with me explaining I can't pay anything my insurance doesn't cover (outside of copay). When I talked to the reception/billing department multiple times, I was told curtly "so you just don't want what the doctor wants for you, even if you need it?" To which I said, again, "not if my insurance doesn't cover it", to which they replied "well I don't get that but fine". What do you mean you don't get it? This office is overcharging you on your bills, and doing their best to cheat you. Please steer clear. read more

I have double insurance. One of my insurances delayed paying a balance because they did not receive the bill. I went ahead and paid the outstanding balance to the doctor directly and straightened out the problem with the insurance company, who proceeded to pay the fee. However, I never received reimbursement from the doctors office, despite contacting them numerous times and asking for a refund. Office and billing staff told me that their accountant does their books on a quarterly and I would receive a refund in due time. However, months went by, and I was never reimbursed. When I called the dental office, staff was condescending and insensitive. Staff informed me that if it was such an emergency, they would pay me out of petty cash. I asked them to mail me a check, which they never did. They also promised to check with the accountant and get back to me, which they never did. Very disappointing! read more

I've been coming to this dental office for a number of years. I was very impressed today with my service particularly in light of covid-19. They have instituted a number of measures including having patients wait in cars, hair bonnets, foot booties, and gloves. The dentist and the hygienist are wearing powered air purifying respirators. They also installed filtering and ultraviolet light sterilizing systems in each room. The even have you put your handbag for backpack in a paper bag for you to carry throughout the process rather than putting it down on the floor anywhere. Going into my appointment a different day was very smooth as well. The girls at the front desk were so nice, and everyone else in the office was naturally so nice and easy going as well. I was pleasantly surprised to see how thoroughly they are taking Covid precautions. Patients and guardians need to put shoe covers, mask, amd a haircap (provided except masks). Drs. and hygienist were wearing a face shield that is completely sealed from outside air. I am taking my 3 kids for their regular cleaning one by one and feel very comfortable. read more

Dr. Cajulis has been my family's dentist for years. We have never been disappointed. She is smart, extremely competent, gentle, and kind. her treatment plans are always well thought out and reasonable. In addition, her staff including the two different dental hygienists that I have met (recently because the hygienist I was scheduled to see was out with an unexpected illness) were both excellent. And Dr. Cajulis and her staff have consistently employed practices to avoid the transmission of COVID-19 or other illnesses in the office.
