I had the regular TMJ story of 10 different splints/orthodics. Hundreds of opinions from doctors and dentists and thousands of dollars down the drain. My mom found Dr. Siman on a podcast and I was desperate for an answer so I flew out ~6 months ago to his location. They were super accommodating to me being out of state always fitting me in and fitting everything to my schedule. My first appointment they showed me a video that explained to me everything I was going through and how TMJ affects the body. It was nice to get peace of mind that all my questions finally had backed up answers and not doctors ill informed opinions. The tech and knowledge they had of TMJ was more than anywhere I've been. I followed their treatment protocols and all in all after 6 months of treatment I'm able to manage my life under my own means and not at the hands of my TMJ. Forever grateful for this place.

However even the receptionist was not very accommodating or welcoming. First off they asked for insurance ofcourse and I provided them. No greetings no nothing. Next Dr Michael Goren and the dental assistant which were not also very welcoming. I felt like I am but another body they can work on provided I can pay. I asked them nicely if after the consultation my root canal can be done that day because I was in pain. Dr Goren said " They will check it infront and let me know". The lady whose infront who doesnt even look at me went to check my insurance information and how much is my copay. I paid my copay and root canal was done. As soon as the root canal is done. The dental assistant didn't even give any information if everything is done already. I had to ask him. Dr Goren was able to explain my post root canal care however he wasn't even very nice either. He escorted me to the receptionist to make sure I did pay my dues before they let me out. They had to triple check if im all clear to go. I understand they have a business to run however I hope they make their patients experience somehow tolerable since everyone who comes through that door are in pain.

I initially had some challenges during my first visit, particularly with my hygienist experience and the recommendation for a deep cleaning. However, when I shared my concerns, both the front desk staff and the dentist took my feedback with the utmost concern and compassion.
