The staff at the front of the store are extremely knowledgeable about all the foods and sweets they sell straight from the UK. We all found some nostalgic treats and enjoyed the stories the staff had to tell us. There is so much to see and taste there even if you aren't familiar with the food it's worth a try. At the back of the building is a tea shop that sells scones with real Devonshire cream and beans on toast! It was all wonderful and tasted like we remember. The only downside I found was the slight attitude we got when we asked for builders tea. The waitress said they didn't sell that brand anymore. Builders tea is a way of preparing tea and not a brand. She didn't agree and insisted they don't carry it... We just said it's fine and to bring us tea with cream and sugar on the side. The museum attached to it has so much stuff to look through and learn about. A great place to go and get lost in some history while enjoying a cup of tea and some sweets!

The noodle dish was superficially like chicken chow mein, except the vegetables were fresh flavorful and perfect textured-- just a bit of crunch, not soggy at all-- a great complement to the house made fresh noodles. The chop suey was a very healthy dose of assorted vegetables-- cabbage, Napa cabbage, carrot, snow peas, broccoli, etc with more thin sliced beef. A very satisfying, well-prepared, and wholesome meal. Fortune cookies and dinner mints to cap it off. Our server paid great attention to us, and we had a great experience start to finish.

Noodle dishes are still good not as many varieties but the plus is they have many other Chinese favs. Food fresh, the noodles are chewy. I still love the house special noodles with sesame sauce, I added chilli oil, mmm spicy, It tastes like Dan Dan noodles. Yum... Not too busy, the is a server is great, Mia and beer is super cold just the way it should be.

Their menu was overwhelming with choices that I did not know what to order, including their weekly specials. I ordered at the counter their Mexicana Eggs Benedict with coffee. The coffee was good with hints of orange pekoe in it. The Mexicana benedict was extraordinarily tasty, from the carnitas meat to the chipotle and pesto sauces on top of the hollandaise. The hashbrowns were magnificent as well; crunchy and coated with seasoning. The interior of the cafe was simple, yet spacious with a slight modern look to it. I even bought some of their baked goods, such as the Maple Bacon doughnut, the Confetti Square, the Blueberry Muffin and the Almond Cookie. And yes, their pastries are fantastic as well, better than at Tim Horton's. I highly recommend the Harvest Store & Cafe for breakfast/lunch outings and their bakery confections.
