Nation's Pure Water Systems

5 Stars - 22 Years of Pure Excellence! Where do I even…read morebegin? We've been Nations Pure customers for 22 years, and they have exceeded our expectations every single time. This isn't just a business relationship--it's a partnership we absolutely trust. The Water Quality: We had our water tested independently, and it's literally purer than bottled water! No smelly water, no hard water issues, no iron or rust problems. Just pure, safe, delicious water every single day. The Service: In over two decades, we've only had TWO issues, and both times they were at our house THE SAME DAY to fix it. That's the kind of responsiveness that builds lifelong customers. The People: Their staff is courteous, knowledgeable, and truly cares. They understand well water chemistry inside and out--especially hydrogen sulfide issues. The free on-site water testing alone is worth its weight in gold. The Ultimate Endorsement: We're building our forever home right now, and there was never even a question about who would handle our water systems. Nations Pure is coming with us, no hesitation. If you're dealing with well water issues or just want the best water possible, stop looking and call Nations Pure. After 22 years with them, I can confidently say you won't find better. Hire them--you'll thank me later!

Mixed feelings about Nation's Pure…read more First got a quote for a water softening and under sink RO from Culligan for $9000. Then Nation's Pure quoted me $8000. Culligan agreed to match the price. Then the sales rep from Nation's Pure dropped the price down to $4000. So that just tells you a bit regarding how much margin is built into these systems if they can cut 50% of the price at the drop of a hat. I probably could have pushed to have it reduced even further. The 6-month service fees got to be too much too. Want to say they were $125-$150 first few years, last time I think it was as high as $265. They did provide 6 x 40 or 50 lb bags of salt, however it's cheaper for me to go to Home Depot and buy salt there instead. You can also buy 3 years worth of filters for what you will pay for just one single service call which is wild. I'm also still having issues with corrosion and sediment in our water heater, enough do that it caused a non-fixable seal to corrode on our $12K water heater, which had to be replaced but was luckily covered by a warranty. According to the plumbers, they said they see a lot of issues with water heaters going out faster from water softeners due to higher salt levels in the water. I would agree with this sentiment as our tap water is so salty that if you have the smallest cut anywhere on your body and take a shower / bath, it's like pouring salt on an open wound. First time I heard my boys scream out in pain in the shower I thought they were just exaggerating, but no, it really does hurt, especially depending on where the cut, scrape, etc is. It also seems like I have to change filters out on the RO faster than 6 months as the water develops a pretty nasty taste within the first 3-4 months and when I change out the filters they are already pretty dirty, and wouldn't have wanted to wait the 6 months to a year that some of them aren't supposed to be changed till. I am sure the bigger filters for the water softening unit are coming up on needing to be changed, but I intend to find alternatives and if necessary, pay another water filter company to swap out their system for one that doesn't rely on a salt based system. No major issues with the techs, but just feel a bit like we were sold a false bill of goods. Would have been better off putting in a RO filter system under our sink and calling it a day for a couple hundred bucks, instead of $4K plus however many service calls I paid for before discontinuing them. It also would have been nice if they'd built the aluminum housing in such a way that you could more easily read the bigger filter gages.
