New outdoor faucet installed. No more leaks! Awesome.
    Darren F.

Absher's One Call Plumbing was parked at my neighbors house doing work there. I walked over and talked to Todd, the owner, and asked him if he could replace my outside faucets. They had been leaking since we bought the house, but I'd been too cheap to call a plumber and was afraid to mess with them myself. Todd said he could replace them for me. When he got done at the neighbors house he came over, took a look at what I needed and gave me a price. It was fair and well worth it to finally have these leaky faucets fixed. Todd did the job and now I've got no problems. I'm elated. I highly recommend Absher's Plumbing and will keep Todd's card where I can find it the next time I need any plumbing work.

Abshers plumbing doing a great job fixing our slab leak.

All the personnel were polite, professional, responsive & reliable. Shout-out to plumber Jaren, who always had a smile, as he was helpful in selecting the right fixture & patient in answering all my questions. Amos, the tile guy, always went above & beyond. He texted me daily as he was on his way, cleaned up every day better than my house had started-out & was precise & meticulous with the tear-down & marble installation. Amos was conscientious about his craftsmanship & strove for perfection. Being in my home for 38 years, I knew precisely what I wanted & Hukill's delivered it exactly as desired. Everyone was ethical, skilled, flexible with my requests and easy to work with. I would not hesitate to recommend Hukill's and use them again.

What initially created the need for the call was a gas fireplace that would not ignite I had previously tried ChatGPT, called a chimney sweep company, and even called the previous owner of my house, all to no avail. Within a few minutes of of arriving, Jordan was able to locate the hidden shut off for the gas fireplace and get it working pretty promptly. While here, he was able to notice a couple of other things that needed attention. My tankless water heater had been installed incorrectly by the previous plumber, and the technicians from Hukill's were able to manage that. And also, when it came to a clogged sink in our master bathroom, they were able to address that as well. By the end of our time together I had heard some good stories from Jordan, I was able to practice my French with Joseph and most importantly had a lot of small annoyances cleared up (literally) leaving my home in better functioning order than when they arrived. Great service and overall good experience. Thanks for increasing my trust in plumbers.

Plumbing and home repair stuff is not an easy biz. You get different opinions from different pros…read more My situation was fairly black and white in that my water heater was dying and we needed a new one. SWAT was assigned to us by our home warranty service. I'm rating them based on their communication with us and the conduct of their plumbers. They get high marks on both fronts. Their notifications process is that you get a text when your plumber is headed to the call before you so you can get your butt home. Then another one when they're headed to you along with a link to track via gps. At one point during our saga, I called their office and left a message after hours. I got a prompt call back the next day. Points man! As far as the people go, the admin staff over the phone and the two plumbers we dealt with, Cody (legendary) and Jason were both polite and professional during their respective visits. I appreciate that they put on booties without me asking before entering our house. That's a big deal for Asian households. They explained the issue to us and the out-of-pocket costs associated with it pretty clearly as it pertained to our policy. They installed the new WH and did a good job, were efficient and left a clean work area. Based on this experience I would recommend them with the suggestion that if it's something complicated, get a couple of opinions and quotes (3 is better but out of pocket DX co$t$), so you can make an informed decision.

I had such a negative experience with SWAT Plumbing this past month that I won't be using them…read moreagain or recommending them to anyone. My hot water went out, so I went through my home warranty company and they sent SWAT. Two techs show up, stay for 10 minutes, and tell me the gas pressure valve isn't working. They say the part is old and probably discontinued. They leave, call their office, and days later I'm told the part can't be sourced and I need a whole new hot water heater. My warranty only covers a small portion, which is already frustrating. I call multiple times to get clarity on what's being installed and how long it will take. Everyone is polite at this stage. The installation day comes, two different techs complete the install... and I still have no hot water. The pressure valve still isn't working. These two ask to check the gas line, and we discover Atmos locked my meter by mistake. Atmos shut off my gas instead of my neighbor's during a teardown. I call SWAT again to ask whether the first team ever checked the gas line. They did not. I get multiple "oh no's" and shock from the team because the mistake was so obvious. I didn't need a new hot water heater at all. I just needed Atmos to turn my gas back on. Only my water heater and furnace run on gas so I didn't know until the hot water was gone. They tell me the Plumbing Manager, Keith Cantrell, will call me. Days go by. No call. After the holiday, I call again. The energy shifts completely. Keith is dismissive, rude, and condescending. "What do you expect me to do?" "I guess we'll reinstall your old hot water heater then." "You're the homeowner, you should know your gas is off." I explain (again) that only my water heater and furnace run on gas, and it's summer, so the hot water outage was the only indicator. He promises a call by Friday. Friday comes and still no phone call by 2:30 pm. I call again and wait on hold for 26 minutes, before being told I'll get a call back. When Keith finally does return my call, he tells me there's nothing he can do and no refund, even though their team didn't check the gas meter before deciding I needed a brand new water heater. I ask, "So you're not going to do anything even though your team misdiagnosed the issue. As a homeowner I'm supposed to be a gas tech and a plumber before I call you?" He says, "Yes." I ask to speak with the Owner. I've been told multiple times he was "meeting with the Owner" while I sat on hold for 20+ minutes. Keith now says "the Owner doesn't come into the office and there are only two managers". So someone lied -- either he wasn't meeting with the Owner when I was on hold, he won't let me speak with the Owner, or SWAT Plumbing isn't actually family owned and operated like their hold music claims. So now I get to pay for a hot water heater I didn't need. Thanks for putting me in debt, SWAT Plumbing. Moral of the story: unless you personally know how to diagnose the issue and fix it yourself, don't use SWAT Plumbing.

We've been using them for several years now, but our latest experience sealed the deal. Recently we had them come out for a sewer pipe inspection from another plumbing company which provided us with a yearly scope of our line. They discovered a slab leak underneath our home due to a shifted sewer line. The estimate to fix the line was very high. We decided to get a second opinion, so we called Clearwater. Jason and Andrew were able to come out immediately to check the line. They ran a camera through the line and did see the disconnection but further under our slab, quite a bit further than the other company noted in their estimate. Jason gave us a quote that was much more affordable. Jason told me the excavation crew could be there the next day. The excavation company Clearwater uses was wonderful. I've never seen 3 more hardworking individuals. It was amazing they were able to dig a 10' tunnel under our slab in less than 3 hours. A day later, Jason and Andrew from Clearwater arrived to take care of the repairs, schedule the final inspection and testing and get the excavation company to backfill the tunnel. Clearwater seamlessly took care of a major repair with finesse and professionalism. If you need a plumber, Clearwater is the one to call. Update, a few days later, we discovered a link in the plumbing under our kitchen sink. Due to me being an amputee and my wife with a broken right wrist, we were not able to make the repairs ourselves. I called early in the morning and Jason and Andrew were out to take care of the leak a few hours later, awesome service.
