Joe and his crew are AMAZING! We purchased a new house in Providence and IMMEDIATELY discovered…read morethat everything we flushed, showered, etc. was being backed up into our brand new finished basement. We discovered this on a Sunday evening. Joe became our plumber that night because he made himself available to come out the following morning. And he arrived on time. What he found was a catastrophe that involved a crew to rip out a whole section of sidewalk in front of our house to clear the several feet of city tree branch that had grown into our pipes. He got the right people in to do that job, was onsite to oversee it throughout, and he fixed a few other plumbing hiccups during the interim and even offered to install the new toilet seats we had sitting in their boxes while his excavation guys were doing their thing. He's a really helpful, friendly, and dedicated person who seems committed to making his customers' homes "right". He also put us onto the most fantastic crew to mitigate our basement disaster. After how happy we were with those guys (who were in our home to fix our basement properly for five weeks), I will take recommendations from Joe for anything we need. In fact, we are already working with an electrician he recommended to sort some crazy-wired switches out and move a junction box (not a small job). I recommend Joe and his crew with a 5/5, no question. These guys are great.

Everything is now working perfectly. I highly recommend this company. They're wee upfront and honest.

I originally selected Prime Heating & Cooling because they installed the original ductwork when my…read morehouse was built. On April 8th, I met on-site with Tyler to discuss flattening and elevating the basement ductwork so my general contractor could finish the ceiling. He assured me it could be done and issued Estimate #12793 for $6,800, which I paid in full immediately via ACH deposit. After a long delay, their crew finally showed up in late July. Unfortunately, the work performed was completely unsatisfactory. They failed to flatten or elevate the ductwork, leaving the ceiling height unchanged. My general contractor confirmed on-site that the ceiling cannot be finished with the work they did. I have video footage of the completed work and the crew acknowledging the issue to my contractor before leaving. The workers promised to speak with Tyler directly, but it has now been days with zero response or communication from the company. Taking payment in full, failing to complete the agreed scope, and then ignoring the customer is unacceptable. I expect the work discussed and paid for to be completed properly without additional charges, or I will be escalating this with state regulatory authorities. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.

I paid $295 for basically nothing. I had an appointment for an oil burner cleaning. The tech (who…read morewas very nice) was sent to the wrong address (the house number on the work order was wrong). When they got here, they were expecting to clean a gas burner, not an oil burner. They had no oil filter for my oil tank (of course, they were given the wrong info), they didn't appear to have the right tools to clean an oil burner (compared to other techs who have come to clean my burner over the years). The time spent was minimal compared to others. I was told my burner worked just fine. That's not cleaning it, that's telling me what I already know. They never left a tag saying maintenance had been done like all the others have over the years, probably because total maintenance hadn't been done. I won't call to have them back to do the job right because I no longer want them in my house. This is the first one star rating I've ever given anyone, meaning I'm basically an easy going person. Would not recommend.

What can I say about Anne the Plumber? I am so happy with their integrity, knowledge and the level…read moreof service. The work was thoughtful, creative and expertly done. What is truly impressive is the time they spent with me explaining the nature of the plumbing problem and its solutions, even before the job began. From the beginning of the job to end, Anne the Plumber took meticulous care and I felt as if it were the most important project that they were doing that day. And, it was not a simple job, like a leaky faucet, it was a complicated job. They had to literally build piping for a washer and dryer that had no infrastructure already in place. The money I spent was worth every penny. I will only use Anne the Plumber for my own condo, and my building has used them as well, with excellent results.
