It was pretty tasty, but I must say I wasn't as blown away as I'd expected. The sausage sandwich got a bit soggy from all of the marinara (which I wasn't expecting based on the description), so I was less excited about it. It was way too much food for two people. Like one sandwich is plenty for two, but I got greedy with wanting to try too much. We had a ton leftover! I would have probably rated it 3.5 stars, but the German roach running around pained me to see and stole my appetite. It really is pretty good! I got the Chopped Cheese the Ocky Way and it was something I really enjoyed. I recommend you get it with the Jamaican Patty as that is what makes the flavors work best. That said, once you talk with the proprietors, they'll show you the food. The hot food all looks delicious and freshly made. I do wish the store would put even a bit of effort on putting up some storefront window promotions to show passerbys kind of food they have. These old school Italian stores are disappearing in South Slope, and this small section of Italian stores (b/t 21st and 20th Streets, including a pastry shop and Luigi's Pizza, which I found to be kinda meh) are probably the last of its breed in South Slope.
