Wasn't it Keats who said, "a thing of beauty is a joy forever"? i could stare at this sandwich all day - such a fond, delicious memory - A sandwich cut in half reveals layers of lettuce, tomato, deli meat, and bread with sesame seeds on top, placed on aluminum foil.

As a germaphobe, i am extremely picky about where i get my food these days. Especially during the pandemic, whilst being pregnant, and hungry ALL the time - getting takeout is such a process. But! Brooklyn Bodega provided a great, efficient, worry-free, and delicious experience. The spot is quite small, but really clean, plus they're practicing good hygiene - Marie takes the order and handles the $ while Gary crafts delicious heroes while wearing gloves. Both wore masks. i pretty much only eat turkey heroes, and they use quality Boar's Head along with a nice soft bread to contain all the heartiness of the meat, condiments and veggies. It was a dream sandwich. The only close available parking for me was right at the hydrant, and they were gracious enough to bring my order out to me, so i wouldn't have to waddle back in and risk getting a ticket. What service! Can't wait to be back!

Inside a store, shelves are stocked with snacks and candies, with a large window revealing parked cars and buildings across the street.

Bodega Sub Hub is a tiny space in Windsor Terrace that I have passed by one hundred times and I didn't know that it was there. All sandwiches are made to order and can be made to your specification. I ordered an Italian Combo on Sesame and took it home with me. My bill was $12.99 and I got a bag of chips on the house. The owner is a bit nervous, but not a bad guy. I'll be back!

Cute little sandwich shop. The owners are so friendly and really just want you to enjoy the best sandwich possible! For lunch it is $9.99 for any sandwich plus chips and drink. All premiums in sandwiches included. Last time I went in, they actually recommended I add more premium toppings that would round out the taste of the sandwich! They are super quick and have everything you might want - hot and cold subs with 2 bread choices - plain and sesame. I want to try their breakfast sandwiches too - just tough as they don't open til 9. Wish they opened at 8 or 830 to go before work

This is probably the best sandwich per value I've come across in New York City! The fresh bread is absolutely incredible, and high quality cheese with Boars' Head brand meats. It's a lean operation focusing solely on cold cuts of your choice with a few suggested combinations but not an exhausting list of featured sandwiches. I have to assume I was serviced by the owner, and he couldn't have been a nicer, or quicker, to build the sandwich with a few recommendations of my limited input. It's well worth checking out and spending ~$7 to find out what this little gem is turning out.

There's a couple of tables in a small store. Above the register there's a menu board resembling a train departures board, cycling through the options (it looks neat, but the printed out menu on your right is a lot more practical). There's a cooler with drinks and salads as you enter on the right. The sandwiches, however, are something special. On my first visit I went with something familiar, the Mean Streets (their Italian sandwich). The bread itself is fantastic (locally baked), and the toppings delicious as well (if I recall correctly the dressings are house made). Pleasantly, they also give you a paper plate with your order, which is a nice touch compared to eating off a wrapper. I enjoyed the first sandwich so much I came back the next day to try the No Sleep Til Gravesend. The sandwich is essentially a hot roast beef sandwich, with a jus on the sandwich reminiscent of a French Dip. Perfect on a cold, rainy day. Overall, 1 of 1 has great (and mostly house made) ingredients and great execution. There's a level of creativity on the menu that you rarely see elsewhere in the city. 1 of 1 is among the best sandwich shops in the city, and a very welcome addition to the area.

They offer a wide variety of signature sandwiches, or you can customize your order. We had the turkey club combo with bacon , avocado and fresh mozzarella. The ingredients are sourced locally. Got a TGTG order here. 11/10 I'd do it again…read more Brooklyn DOP actually originated as a pandemic business where my friend's personal trainer started baking pizzas outside of his Greenwood Heights apartment. When the hype got large enough, the owner decided to start a pizzeria and the rest is not history. This is one of the more worthwhile TGTG orders to me. Their pizza is SOOO perfectly crisp and charred, and actually is one of the closest pizzas that reminds me of the famous originals in Napoli.

Expensive though, about $55 dollars for a vegan 18-inch Margherita pie with 3 toppings. Was it worth it for the experience? Yes. Would I recommend to someone who wanted to try it at least once for a good dairy-free pizza? Absolutely, I couldn't even tell this was vegan cheese. Would I get it again? Maybe (?) once in a while as a treat with price being the only barrier. Service 5/5: This was great. I came here the other day to inquire about their vegan pizza and just wanted to try a slice. The person found his manager to talk to me about this. They were super friendly and explained to me the situation. This location only sold vegan options in full pies and their other DOP Fast Life location does sell vegan slices, but they didn't try to push me to buy. I came back today and the staff today were also very welcoming. Ambiance 5/5: Rustic red brick interior with warm lighting. It was definitely bustling on a Friday night. Food 5/5: Delicious pizza. I do regret that I ate it cold after driving 30 minutes to pick it up so I did not get the full experience. But the crust was still crunchy. I do wish the toppings were a little heavier but the tomato chunks in the sauce tasted very fresh. A very classic New York style pizza and I couldn't even tell it wasn't real cheese. Vegan garlic knots were great too.

I see a lot of patrons working in laptops, some meeting up to talk and sip and even the barista chatted with a local patron. Love it! My chai was piping hot and absolutely delicious. The chai was frothy, rich, the black tea leaves infused with cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, cloves, sweetener, and milk. I savored every sip and complimented the barista.
