My family and I have been going to Oley Valley Feed for over 25 years and have watched the place expand in size and staff. Through the years, Oley Feed has been reliable and knowledgeable, maintaining the friendly personable environment as they grew. Everyone who works there is happy to answer questions directly or point you to the right person to get you the help you need. Many times over the years, they have worked with me to specifically tailor a diet to my animal's unique and changing needs, or research supplements and supplies to find the best thing for my pets. I run an animal rescue and rehabilitation center and we have always relied on Oley Feed for our personal pets, as well as our rescue needs. Awesome place!! My first time in there. They carry dog food that is half the price as the national chains and probably better than those selections. The great part is they have a frequent buyers card after buying a certain number of bags you get one free. This day I got that bag for free with the purchase of the bag I had originally was going to buy. Not only did they tell me they would carry it out to the loading docks but they actually loaded it in my car. The staff was super friendly and eager to help! Ill certainly be back. read more

I love Oley Valley Feed. They're always courteous and helpful, they only sell me what I need. Classes on everything from Beekeeping to Chicken raising, Wild Bird feeding and more. Exclusive Cat and Dog Food are great, with their Frequent Buyers Club. I tried to switch to a cheaper brand elsewhere, and I switched right back. My pets eat less, are healthier. Family owned local business. They have Vet clinics. Jeff is so knowledgeable, it's a pleasure. I never know what nice surprises I'll find. And the drive is pleasant. read more

Great place! Family run, very personal, very knowledgable. Got my start with my backyard flock of chickens here. When ordering my first flock of keets in the spring, they gave me great advice about good starter breeds. Also very informative about general flock care. They have a free and informal adopt-a-pass-along thing going. You can drop off an unwanted rooster, for instance, and someone else can take it home to their hens. I got the most adorable (and pretty) little bantam rooster there a couple of summers ago. read more

Everyone is so helpful and friendly. they take the time to answer all of your questions, make recommendations and spend time making sure you have all of the information you need. If they don't have a specific item, they will gladly order it for you. I love that they load everything in your car for you! Great place! People are friendly, products are top notch. A hidden gem in the Oley valley, but the locals know we'res it located. We have purchased everything from chicken coops, chicken feed, baby chicks in spring, baby pheasants, hay and heck they even gave us a FREE Rooster (named him Rocky). OVF has everything I need for my array of animals (dogs, cats, chickens, horses and the wild birds and deer). The staff is both super friendly and knowledgeable. They have provided us with guidance about types of feed, general care and equipment. So sick of the "super stores" with nameless faces. Great people, very helpful, full of information and they don't mind taking the time to answer your questions on anything agricultural. I buy my birdseed there, used to buy my dog food before our dog died. They have special days where vets come in for vaccination clinics and experts come in to share the latest info on raising chickens, horses, etc. This place really is as good as it gets. read more
