We came here for lunch on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Our waitress was an awesome lady named Traci. She was great !! Very attentive and friendly. This is the second time she has taken care of us and both times she did such a great job. Our food was delicious ! I had the grilled chicken sandwich. Perfection! Juicy and fresh . My husband got the Blue tick burger and he loved it . Our son got the Oklahoma onion burger and he loved his ! Loaded with stuff ! All were big portions and a big batch of fries came with all of the meals. Fries were great ! Our son got a side of the vinegar slaw and said it was the best he's had . I got a red sangria and that was wonderful and in a large glass . We had a great time and enjoyed the live singer . We will be back !! read more

It's nice when a celebrity restaurant is more than just a name, and I can say that I feel Ole Red hits a sweet spot serving up delicious Southern comfort food. I've been to Ole Red a couple times - but I always try to plan to be there when they open or on a slow day/odd time - so I can't speak to waiting, busy time, etc. But, every time I've been the service has been great. As mentioned, the food is truly delicious here, and last time I had the HONEY BEE COUNTRY DINNER which includes half bone in chicken basted with Honey Bee glaze, Cheddar Mashed Potatoes, Loaded Green Beans, Buttermilk Biscuit. The chicken was deliciously tender and the sides were excellent. I'm still craving some of those mashed potatoes. Truthfully, the glaze could have been a tad sweeter but it was still delicious none the less. If you're a Blake Shelton fan, definitely check this place out - or it can be great for staycation to this area of Oklahoma, take in some local shops and explore downtown Tishomingo. Food was good, service was good. The live music was outstanding. Our kids sat at a different table than us and the Singer on stage pulled them up on stage and they had a great time. Great catfish, shrimp, hush puppies, French fries, green tomato pickles. Good stout from OKC. Don't usually order dessert but got the bourbon pecan cobbler a la mode GREAT. I'm really picky about fries and they were very good. Live music not too loud. Can't wait to come back. read more

I was with a group of friends for a bachelorette party and the staff was very friendly in accommodating us, likely because we made a reservation. The menu has plenty of options from large plates to salads, and sandwiches. The cocktails are a bit pricey, in my opinion, but it's to be expected from a touristy restaurant. My chicken was smothered in cheese and bacon and was quite delicious and hot, which isn't easy when you're with a large party. The small bar area would likely be more my speed if I were to happen to be in Tish again and needed a place to hang out. There is a gift shop for you to wander through while you're waiting on your food with plenty of soft T-shirts and other souvenirs. read more

We showed up with 20 people today. American Legion Riders riding up from Texas to visit the place and eat. We were, apparently, a major inconvenience wanting to sit on the back deck in this beautiful 65 degree day! First, they told us they wouldnt open it, because it was a "Safety hazard". Then they told us they would open it but wouldn't serve us out there. We asked to speak with the manager who never showed. We WERE going to eat but had one drink each and left to go somewhere more friendly. I have never seen a business turn away 20 people. We were able to have our dog with us on the patio. Ate really good food. My wife said that's the best catfish she's ever had and she's a born Okie so I believe her. This place is pretty awesome and you won't be disappointed. I guess due to COVID the menu was downsized but but everything always seems fresh and delicious. My husband and went there on Mother's Day and I chose ginger glazed salmon which was on a special that day. It was very tasty. Went for an early Friday dinner. Seated quickly (10 min). Wait staff is pretty green but that's to be expected with a brand new restaurant in a small town. Very friendly staff eager to help. Only suggestions would be to expand the menu; 1) maybe have the option of regular chicken along with hot as heck chicken. 2) use a substantial level of water filtration for anything using local water (tea, ice, etc). 3) start live music earlier. Maybe acoustic at a reasonable decibel level. I love live music and I'd like to enjoy it early in the feeding time if possible. 4) take reservations. The first thing this is Oklahoma and a country town of Tishomingo. When you go Too the door your met with a No firearms allowed. Both me and the wife had to secure our firearms in the vehicle. We have serious issues with this after the Louie's restaurant shooting in Okc. No armed security. Everybody their was super nice there. We ordered and the food was ok. The ribs I ordered were kind of old tasting and over done with a very sweet bbq sauce. The grill cheese my daughter had was over seasoned and she couldn't eat it. The deserts were pretty good though. We drive from Okc to see the restaurant and I was very disappointed in the food but the people were really nice. read more

Came to Ole Red while visiting Tishomingo. The reviews were not great but decided why not! My experience was that the atmosphere was great with the live music and the service was great! Me and one of my best friends, who lives in Fort Worth, decided to meet here for a late lunch since we had not seen each other in a while. It was about a 2 hour and a half drive from NW OKC. We went on a Saturday afternoon around 3:00 p.m. and the place was slightly busy.My understanding is that due to Covid they have a very limited menu of both food and drinks.I'll get to the point...it was not worth the drive. I guess it's nice to say that I've been to Blake Shelton's place, but there is absolutely nothing special to this place. I ended up ordering a Corona and a...burger...YES! A simple burger! There were not many options and I decided to play it safe. Again, nothing special. The waitress was "fake nice" if you know what I mean. She was diligent but made me feel rushed.The place looked lifeless. The bar, which in a lot of cases tends to be a restaurant's focal point, was closed....no lights or even bar stools. Again, I understand I might not be giving a fair review since these are probably Covid precautions.Finally let's talk about prices, it was a little pricey considering the quality and simplicity of the food and services but let's remember that you are also paying for the experience of being at "Blake's place". We are on a road trip from Ohio to Arizona, this was one of our planned stops. We drove 9+ hours today just to have dinner here. It was a Monday so of course not busy and of course no surprise visit from Blake! We had the brisket tacos with homemade chips and country fried steak and mash. We were traveling through south Oklahoma and saw a sign for Tishamingo and decided to go see Blake Shelton's bar. It was a really cool place and very impressive bar for such a small town. The bar tender Stormi was very nice and told us about how they have live music on Friday and Saturday nights that typically packs the house. We did not eat, but the menu had a large selection and the food we saw people getting looked great. I am only giving Ole Red 3 stars though because it was over $16 for two draft beers which seemed very overpriced. It's worth going to see the place, but expect high prices. read more

We arrived on a Saturday night around 6:00 pm and told it was an hour to 1 1/2 hour wait. At 7:30 we still were 6th on the list. We asked about the empty tables (there were at least 3 ). We were then told after waiting 1 1/2 hour that they were holding those tables for a group of 22. Through out the waiting the hostesses were very casual and it appeared they could not have cared less. We also observed several people walking out as we eventually did due to the extensive delay in getting a table. We got the strong feeling that "we weren't a regular so we were not important. Mr. Blake Shelton you need to get your restaurant in shape if you expect it to be successful. Maybe instead of spending so much money promoting yourself all over the town, find a way to teach your employees some customer service. read more

A trucker hat that said reel fishing was $24.99). Ordered sweet tea and was brought unsweetened with almost all the ice melted. Got the menu, ordered the cheese discs for an appetizer, only 4 cheese discs come on plate for $10. When we got cheese discs they were overcooked and cold. Way overpriced for this area. Ole Red dang Blake did you even sample your high dollar menu - I sat down and asked the waitress how's the meat loaf she said it's GREAT so I ordered it my wife got just a average cheese burger - the meat loaf came out it looked awful like Ole Reds dog food however since it was like 16.00 I said I better eat it. By the time I was done before the check got there I felt my a BIG rumble in my stomach I thought OH shit!!!! We went to the gift shop to look at all Blake's high dollar T shirts where there was 4 girls working the counter and not one seem to know what they where doing WELL here goes my stomach again I ran to Blake's golden thrown where I made a pretty big deposit for about 15 minutes - I walked to the car where my wife was waiting and got in sat down and pa pow that rumble in my stomach was back - I ran back into Blake's golden thrown and blew it up real good - when I walked back out the hostess asked are you ok I just looked at her touched my stomach and said meat loaf she smiled and I left.
