    Drunken Sailor and Township rebellion

This is an amazing brewery right in the middle of town! The atmosphere is great as it is welcoming and fun! The employees are so fun to talk to and gave amazing service. Their beer selection is not as extensive, but the taste makes up for it. The way the flavors hit your tongue is unreal. They have events and food trucks throughout the week as well! Parking was a little difficult as it's only street parking but that's not a biggie. Definitely coming back!

This is a really nice brewery. It is on the main street in Salem so parking was the biggest issue we ran into... it didn't help that there was some Halloween festival going on.. We parked a ways off and walked in. The place is spacious and clean. The interior brick walls are really nice!We brought lunch in with us which was fine with the location but they also had a food truck out back. They do have flights now and we did a flight of 4. They also had tvs on the wall which was showing a few different games on the Saturday we were there. This beer is pretty good. I usually don't like beer with a fruit flavor in it but the plush was very good! Definitely worth the trip!!

Drinks were great! I had the Township Rebellion IPA. Hazy and bitter with a touch of sweetness! The bartender up front was great and very helpful with recommendations. The place is clean and has a modern take with an old time feel. Definitely will come back!

Great building and location. Brick interior is awesome. No flights yet, but coming in the next months. Open since November. Nice variety of beers. Not real impressed with the taste yet. But as with any new brewery, this usually gets better with time. Limited free parking out back I will keep in touch.

Chill Brewery Downtown Salem with awesome vibes and employees! Great Beer, Great Selection! Definitely our favorite spot to relax and sip a few in the "Noke. Dog friendly if that's your thing, kid friendly as well. The dogs can get loud at times but that's no fault of the brewery. There's a great outdoor space as well, food trucks most days and if not you can get your meal delivered or bring in food or snacks. There's also beer to go and crowler and growler fills. Highly Recommend if you're in the area or traveling nearby.

BEST raspberry beer and the atmosphere is awesome! I love the twinkly lights, brick walls, and music! It's so fun to go out there with friends. My boyfriend and I go there often for date night!

Very very very impressed with one. Their beer selection. From lagers to sours to ipas to stouts. And their prices were very reasonable. They had multiple beers I loved. Their jump lager was amazing and my hands down favorite. The atmosphere was nice and open. Plenty of room. They had a cubby of board games for kids which I thought was really cool! They even had free wings for all their customers tonight which I guess they do on mondays! The employee was very nice and helpful on showing me the beers I would mostly like due to my taste in beer. 10/10 recommend. Just prepare to have to park on some random road and walk alittle

Stopped in for the first time to enjoy a flight. Loved the large selection and variety in flavors. They have more unique flavors than several places that we visit. Staff was friendly. It was a Friday night, crowded, loud, and parking is a pain but those are all signs of a well loved business. Loved the decor and brickwork inside. Would visit again.

    Great ambiance

This place is a don't miss. They are friendly, love dogs and accommodate indoor and outdoor seating during COVID. The beers are excellent; hubby got Amber Lager (plus a growler to go) and I had the Kolsch. Great ambiance (see photo

Brewing companies, there are many in this neck of the woods, but very unique, one-of-a-kind ones,…read morelike this one, rarely do we find one. I happened to find this one while searching for the Empanada Nirvana Food Truck. It just so happened that I found out that the Empanada Nirvana Food Truck was going to be stationed outside the Parkway Brewing Company this past Wednesday during National Empanada Day and so I researched this place to learn more about it. I found out that Parkway Brewing Company is a craft brewery in Salem, Virginia. Established in 2012, it is well known for its distinctive ales and a vibrant tasting room with a large beer garden, live music, and food trucks. It operates a 30-barrel brewhouse, producing a large range of beers from IPA to lagers. Located near the Roanoke Valley Greenway, it attracts runners and cyclists, and has become a community hub for outdoor enthusiasts and beer lovers. When I arrived in my pearl white Lexus, the Empanada Nirvana Food Truck was already parked outside, but had not yet opened, so I went inside the brewery to explore its building. There I found a casual, low-key environment with an industrial-chick interior featuring a fireplace and garage doors that opened to the outdoors, to an area with picnic tables and sun umbrellas. Inside there were also several colorful modern murals and a wide counter where customers went to order and pay for their beers. They had several menus as well as display coolers with some of the beers being sold there. The friendly and knowledgeable young lady behind the counter did an excellent job explaining what they had, including the non-alcoholic options. While going to the restrooms, one passed by a window where you could see the brewhouse. Along the way there were also shelves filled with souvenirs of the place. In the room where the fireplace was, there was also a stage for live performances, which usually took place at night. I loved the ambiance and vive of the place and am looking forward to returning to one of their music live performance and some of their beers, and knowing that they also carry non-alcoholic ones will allow me to enjoy the evening and drive back home safely.

By doing so I was able to confirm firsthand my suspicion of my amazing finding and wanted to share with the readers of my review so that they too are able to enjoy this golden needle in the haystack never explored, yet in their back yard. But before I begin, I would like to thank and give tribute to the business partners who came up with idea of this place and never allowed their life circumstances get in the way of making their dream come true for all of us, the community, to be able to share and enjoy. Twisted Track Brewpub is more than just a full-service brewery and kitchen, serving upscale food and beverages in a cool and relaxed environment. It is the perfect meeting place and entertainment venue for families and friends to meet and share quality time with each other in a safe and amusing place. First of all I was very impressed by the beautiful, open space architectural design of the building's interior as well as its exterior front seating area patio. They are welcoming and make you feel at home. When you arrive and walk inside you are immediately captivated by the place with tables and chairs all over, and a ramp and stairs that lead to a counter high above where orders are taken and paid for after you've had an opportunity to examine the menus which have been placed on every table. There "just the right size" and quality food selection menu made me want to enjoy all items listed. Especially accompanying them with a side of their very unique and amazing fat curly fries, which they call "Twisted Fries." At the counter, and extremely welcoming and friendly young lady greeted me with a smile and explained the variety of drinking items available, including very creative non-alcoholic drinks, such as the Collective Art Guava Go, which I ended up having. After ordered this and a Pulled Pork Sandwich with an order of Twisted Fries, I paid and was given my drink and a beeper to notify me when my order was ready and to go pick it up at the order pickup counter. After I sat down at a table of my choosing facing a small stage on the left side of the building, the beeper beeped and I went to pick up my order. Again the staff their were very friendly and nice. They even allowed me to photograph other menu items that were waiting on the counter for my readers to be able to view and admire. Then as I enjoyed the food that was amazingly delicious, including those amazing Twisted Fries, I looked around and the clientele seemed to be just normal and clean folks enjoying a good time. There was a group of what looked like business associates at one of the large tables. A family at another table, where the father was playing UNO with his son, using gigantic size cards. A couple at another table and so on. Many seemed like repeat customers. Since it was a Friday evening. Friday, January 17th to be more precise. It was Live Music Night and William Seymour, a musician and recording artist from Noth Carolina was scheduled to perform. He practiced on the stage for a while. Them came down and handed out his very creative square business cards with a QR code to be able to pay for TIPS and merchandise with venmo. He then went up the stage and sang and played his guitar. To conclude all I can say is: What an extraordinary dining and entertaining experience this has been. I highly recommend this place for an enjoyable evening with family and friends, and am honored to be the one who has been able to make you aware of this gem of a place.
