It's one of those stores where you walk intending to browse but inevitably find something you love that you just have to take home with you. creme de la creme is a little hard to describe; I guess I'd call it a home goods and decor store. They sell candles, rugs, art, and various items of decor. The merchandise is of really high quality. On this past visit (I'd been in one before, too), I found a rug that just called to me. I had to have it. The store is beautiful (and festive around the holidays), and the service is so friendly and helpful. Definitely one of the many stores worth visiting in historic Frederick!

This shop is everything you're hoping it to be and more…read more Need some funky pens? Tiny tea cups? Funny socks? Jewelry? Vintage clothes? Books? They've got it all. It's certainly a smaller shop but it is jampacked with magical things. My boyfriend and I probably spent at least half an hour in here just wandering around. We both ended up buying some things to take back home. It was just definitely a fun little spot to explore while in Shepherdstown. I hope this place stays around for a very long time because I'd love to visit again someday.

The store boasts a delightful collection of old-fashioned trinkets. Along the shelves are everything from old-fashioned toys, to glass cookware and vinyl records. The location is also home to a working blacksmith shop in case your horse needs a new pair of shoes. I loved the display of Raggedy Anns and Raggedy Andy. I still have my Raggedy Ann from many, many years ago. She's in a cedar box now to keep her safe with my other memories from growing up. I'd be worried about one of the doggies getting her now. So many wonderful local artist items, even the coffees and teas from the Inn are available. I especially love the Eve and Roarke Coffee. My family and I stopped by tonight to do some last minute Christmas shopping and ended up walking…read moreout due to my brother being racially profiled by the two older Caucasian woman working. I watched as he was stalked around the store and stared down by both employees. My boyfriend and I both look white meanwhile my brother is a traditional looking Hispanic teenage boy. He was the only person of color in that store and he was followed as if he were up to no good. This was our first time in the shop and it will definitely be our last.
