Beautiful farm. We stopped by Old Time Christmas Tree Farm's pumpkin patch during their final weekend of the year and enjoyed the experience. We left happy with pumpkins in tow. Their prices were great and the quality is near perfect. The space included a number of vendors and activities, including a BBQ stand and petting zoo. The pumpkin patch event was well-run, and the service was beyond friendly. I highly recommend visiting. Beyond the pumpkins, much of the property is lined with different varieties of Christmas trees for the upcoming season, including Pine, Cypress and Blue Spruce. Five stars for a great destination in the Houston area.

We love coming here every year! Lots of photo ops and a bunch more for the kids to do. The lines for the hay ride and train ride seem long but goes by quick because of how many ppl can fit at once. The ppl working there are very friendly and welcoming. Just be careful going too late in the month. It'll be slim pickings for the pumpkins. Also for the photos - it'll look kinda empty. We went this past weekend (10/19/24) still very full, there was one year we went the last weekend in Oct and it was kinda bare. That's our own fault for going so late. I think you can't beat the admission price for $10 and the prices for pumpkins. I noticed it's only a dollar more than Walmart.

The pumpkins were very pricy but whatever ,who cares about that. They had very nice workers there. I loved the hay ride and train ride. Super cool. They also had camels

So many different photo ops! They offer food as well, and they have a hay ride that I enjoyed! For those of you with children, there are a lot of activities! Really enjoyed being able to walk around the farm. Can't wait to come back for Christmas!

What a great experience. Everything was well organized with different stations to help you get to your perfect tree. The first stop asked if we were cutting a tree or getting a precut tree. Once we told them we wanted to cut a tree we followed our way to station 1 to get our measuring stick and saw. We waited for the hay ride to pick us up and bring us to our destination. I loved how short the wait was and once we arrived we took our time to find the perfect tree. Once finished the tractor picked us up and took us back. Everything was so smooth and would definitely go back next year!

Had an awesome time with my husband and family. Lots of activities to do. Loved the pumpkins.

Went to cut a live tree in 2021. They have it well organized and the experience was memorable! We did the hay ride, enjoyed hot cocoa, funnel cakes and bought live wreaths as well!

Great little place! $10 per person to get in but even though my kids are too old to enjoy most of the attractions and activities we still had plenty of photo opportunities.

Needles couldn't even stay on the tree.

Bought a Christmas tree here and definitely won't be going back. We were sold a diseased tree... these people are the experts. There is absolutely NO REASON they should have had the tree out in the first place. It completely died yesterday and the clean up was insane. Not to mention the bugs that showed up in the rott that came from the tree and died in our windows. hundreds of them... Overpriced during the pumpkin patch and still gave them a chance. This was it for me. Never again. Don't waste your time or money thinking it's for "the experience". Our tree from Lowes last year lasted over a month. Disappointed in their business practices... this was a $200 9 foot tree and now our kids don't have a tree until I can afford to dish out another $180 somewhere else since they don't offer refunds. Thank you for nothing.

A very family friendly fun environment more specifically referring to the Pumpkin Patch that is held here. I visited with my small children this month. The parking requires a short walk but it's well worth it and there's plenty of parking available. With pumpkins all around my little ones were free to roam and play and take pictures on any pumpkins they saw. They also had props with hay set up as backdrops for your own personal photo sessions. Very festive with fall and Halloween decorations. Lots of things to do from a friendly petting zoo to massive bounce houses everyone is sure to have a great time! Very affordable and fun.

Nov 25th: This is our tree day we bought it

We were super happy with our tree this year. We bought one of their precut trees on Nov 25. It was a great tree. This was our first time buying here and we were so pleased. In the past, the tree has dropped needles and by the time I take it down, it is just sticks and pitiful. You can see from my photos how great is still looks SIX WEEKS after we bought it. We will be back in 2023!!!!

Enjoy this place so much! Some say its overpriced, well its a Once a year event, so i totally understand the pricing. It's truly not overpriced. It's a convenient and well taken care of location especially to visit for an afternoon. Opening weekend is BEST for Pumpkin Patch, more selection for your dollar.

It was a very cute small pumpkin patch place you can go to with your significant other. It was my bf and I's very first time ever going to a pumpkin patch and we had so much fun. It was kinda hard to find the small entrance to enter the place. We spend at least 2 hours there walking around and just enjoying the view. Of course we took a lot a lot of pictures. I had a really good time for it being the first time!

One of the…read moreworkers said that blueberry season is really a short 4-6 weeks time frame while blackberries are most of the summer. This year 2025, the blueberries are sweet but on the smaller side. The blackberries were not as good as some of them are tart or even sour as some seem to start fermenting? However in 2023 the blackberries were soooo sweet and juicy that even my husband liked them and he usually doesn't like blackberries. Maybe this year just wasn't good for blackberries. :/ The busket (basket bucket) is $1.50 and berries are usually $8-10 per lb but they ran a Memorial Day weekend promo for $4 a lb. We filled up our busket about 2/3 of the way for 2.7 lbs or $11 in blackberries and blueberries! Cheaper than Costco! Although it is a 45 min drive for us. Giant sunflowers were available too but all the wildflowers were picked already. Things to bring: Busket - if you already have one! Sunscreen - protect your skin! Hat - it's sunny! Water and a refill of water - it's HOT and you easily drink through 2 water bottles, plus if you use any to clean your pickings. neck towel / fan - nice to have I would also consider looking for a parking spot in the shade, usually to the left by the Farm Funland. I also put up our cars sunshade which helps too. This time, my 4 yo said her car seat wasn't that hot (whereas she will usually complain if it is), so i think jt worked! We only spent about 1.5 hours though from 1030-12noon, as it was getting really hot and the kiddo was over it. Overall, fun experience and some good berries but do come prepared for the heat!

Everything costs extra, and it truly feels like you're being nickel-and-dimed at every turn. There is clearly not enough staff for the number of guests, which leads to extremely long lines. Several areas are far too dark at night, especially considering how many children are running around--it felt unsafe. The smell throughout the farm was unpleasant, the bathrooms were not functioning properly, and the lighting overall was poor. The price for each game is ridiculous for what you get. On top of that, I've read the responses from management to other reviewers, and the way they speak to customers is unprofessional and off-putting. To make matters worse, after leaving my feet have been itching nonstop, like I was bitten by bugs or exposed to something while there. For the price, the experience does not come close to being worth it. Save the long drive and the money--you'd be better off putting it toward a future trip to Disney.

From riding a train around the farm to petting goats to running around on a huge playground, this Farm is an all around good time! Pros: Activities: This place is packed with all types of things to do. There are several animals you can pet (Goats, Llamas, chickens, Cow, pony's and many more. There's a train that goes around the whole farm (included in your admission) and you can ride it as much as you want. They have several spots throughout the facility to reserve for birthday parties . There a HUGE mound of sand for the kids to have fun and a big playground. Plenty of places to take great photos! Location: I dread the words "It's off 1960" because this stretch of road has horrible traffic and some spots are not the best areas to be around but this spot is an excellent location. For all my golf folks, Tour 18 is right across the street ‍ Cons: Price: For a family of four (includes a 16 month old) we paid $80.00 plus food for animals for a total of $89.00. I know everything has gone up recently but I was a little blown away by this price. I would've expected a little more animals to pet or even some outdoor games to make up for this amount. Parking: Get here early or you will be parking in the "additional" parking spot which is a mowed field. Nothing against a mowed field but it isnt close so be ready to walk a little. Overall we will come back again this year since our kids had a blast!! If you're in the area give this farm a try.

My 2 year old was free. $2 for a bucket (must use a Froberg's bucket for picking). We bought 2 to share among the 4 of us. We filled both close to the top (close to 6 lbs total). I'm not sure how much it cost per lb since I didn't pay, but i think it was $5/lb. Credit card does incur a 3.99% fee. We also bought some bbq: brisket sandwich, hotdog with turkey sausage and jalapeno sausage, Arizona green tea, bottled water, and 2 sausages to-go (jalapeno pork & deer sausage and regular sausage). It was a lot of food actually for $48. We also bought some baked goods to-go (especially enjoyed the oatmeal cookie, chocolate cookie, and pecan pie) . Cookies were $1.50 each or $12/dz. The medium pie (about 4 servings) was maybe $6-7. Being a Friday, there was not much to do at all because all the rides, games, and food trucks only run on the weekends. I guess it saved us money at least bc everything cost $3-4 (tokens). We still managed to stay 2 hours (it made our 1 hr drive worth it) because we ate the bbq at the shaded picnic tables while my 2 year old played on the playground. It's a small playground, but it had her favorite things- swings, slides, and a tire tower to climb. She had fun. I may go to Blessington for the pumpkin patch this fall (based off reviews), but fruit picking is pretty fun here.

The farm placed a small 8x11 inch sign near the entrance of a open field that read "pumpkin patch parking". Needless to say, we didn't see the sign until 3 U-turns. The entrance fee was $10, but it should have been more like $3. The grass was overgrown and sadly the grounds were upkeep. Per a friend, in previous years the farm provided a small train around the farm for the kids to ride, but this year nothing. The small playground was messy with lots of dirt on the toys and trash in the enclosed area. The staff was unfriendly and very rude at times. They provided horseback rides and the kids were able to do this, but the staff again very rude to the kids. It was like the kids were bothering them (why work at the farm if you don't like kids). The pumpkins ranged from $5-40 dollars and this was totally over priced since the size of the pumpkins we very small and you can purchase a better pumpkin from the local grocery store large and less expensive. They had a Halloween trail with lots of dirty plastic hands and feet. It was NOT frightening or scary at all and our 6-8 years olds ask why did the farm drop hands everywhere. Buyer beware and save your money, time and your kids from a horrible experience.
