Ordered delivery last night and most of it went in the trash, including the menu. The chef's salad was packaged with the pizza, toasted sub and mozzarella sticks making it hot and wilted. The ham in the salad was very salty. The mozzarella sticks were decent but the sauce was also extremely salty. The Italian sub had very little meat and was also very salty. I actually had to search for the provolone. Please be advised that all of their subs come toasted per the menu, I overlooked that. I can't speak for the pizza because I didn't try it but it looked appetizing. We tried to call but there was no answer even though they were still open. I called again today and owner was slightly argumentative and didn't seem interested in any kind of constructive feedback. He also stated that he deleted my Facebook review. We ordered pizza, breadsticks and salad from this restaurant while staying in town for a bachelorette. The pizza was so-so. Not awful but not remarkable either. But the real reason for knocking down so many stars is that they forgot one of our salads. Our order wasn't huge, but it was too late to drive 20-30 minutes back to the restaurant by the time we got home and realized the mistake. Stopped here the other day thinking I was going too visit George's Pizza, another place I had not frequented before. Lo and behold, that's not what was on the signage when I pulled up. No biggie, I thought, I'll give these guys a shot I thought. I walked in and took a look at the menu so I could make up my mind. Pretty much what you'd expect, pizzas and subs, though many to choose from. First visit, I played it safe and went with a small cheese pizza. I had planned to share with my little one but she wanted fast food instead. Woo Hoo, more for me. Though there a a couple of tables inside, this is really more of a take out kind of place. The young lady behind the counter was friendly, the wait for my pizza was what you'd expect, about ten minutes. The pizza was OK, in spite of the fact they use a conveyor belt to cook it. I'm more of the old school, throw it in the oven kind of guy. Though we had no issues, I could see parking being an issue here. The lot is not huge and there is no street parking here. read more

I practically needed a spoon to scoop it all up. -We ordered a pepperoni pizza. They put the cheese on top of the pepperoni. On one hand, it made it slightly unique and helped keep the pizza together a little more. However, I think all this really did was contribute to the soggy, greasy mess. It trapped the grease of the pepperoni between the sauce and cheese with nowhere to runoff, escape, or be blotted off. So the bottom crust just absorbed the trapped grease. Would I order again? Very few places to sit despite the large space. I got a large cheese pizza and I really really wanted it to be good but NO, not even close. You'd be better off getting some Ragu or any cheap sauce putting it on a bagel with american cheese and cooking it in the toaster oven then ordering a large cheese pizza for $12.80 from these guys. The restaurant is closed since I reported to the Health Department in Sturbridge that pieces of glass were served in child's portion of pasta! On Facebook it states they are closed for vacation. Truth be told the Health Department shut them down to correct multiple violations in the food code! We called Old Sturbridge to fill our bellies for the evening. We ordered a small bbq chix pizza, an order of honey BBQ wings and a small order of bread sticks. The pizza and wings were good. The bread sticks? Well they probably would have been good when they were fresh. They appeared to have been sitting under the warmer for a much longer time than the 45 minutes that it took to get our food delivered. So my guess is that their lack of attention to detail allowed for them to deliver us an order that had made much earlier than when I had called. Luckily I will probably never be in this area again. We just ordered from here, we have yet to find good pizza since moving to Sturbridge. We ordered a House pizza and an Italian grinder. Food was fresh and delicious, everything had flavor and loved all the fresh veggies. It is a Friday night and delivery was fast. They added the "Slice" app so ordering and paying is super easy and the new york style pizza is the best. their buffalo wings are a good size compared to other places in town and if there is a problem they don't hesitate to make it right. This was a take out order, so my review is on the food only. Steak and Cheese Grinder - Where I'm from, it's known simply as a Cheesesteak, and this cheesesteak needed some help. 1) It was very dry. Chip steak is lean by nature, so you have to squirt some oil on the cooking steak. Sub shops back where I'm from have a squirt bottle of oil that's liberally applied. 2) It was salty, really salty! 3) Hardly any cheese! Where's the cheese? Again, back home the cheese is thoroughly mixed into the steak The sandwich could have used fried onions, but it wasn't available on the ordering app. Back at the house, I slathered my sandwich with ketchup in an attempt to add some flavor and juiciness to it. While staying in Sturbridge, my wife and I decided to make our first night easy and came here as it was easy to get to and we agreed on getting pizza for dinner, then heading back to our room for a good nights sleep before Saturday's activities. We ordered a large cheese which came to about $12.00. Probably one of the best we've had in a long time and we were surprised being from New York that this little shop in Mass had most of our local places beat. The cheese was very fresh, the tomato sauce was balanced well with seasoning and the pizza wasn't drowning in sauce. The crust was done right. It had a crisp exterior with a very soft and light interior. There was no hint of yeast (difficult for many pizza makers to eliminate that yeasty taste) yet it was obviously used as the rise in the crust was beautiful. No thick crust here either. It was thin crust as we like it yet crispy and each slice held together well during consumption. The cheese didn't pull away and slide around as we ate. My wife enjoyed it so much she tackled four slices before I had finished my third! Great job folks! We're ordering one to take back home! read more
