The store is packed with goodies, but the layout/merchandising is what makes it so appealing. Each booth is set up with walkability and organized so you can see things easily. It's not the kind of place you have to dig for something or is so cluttered you can't focus on what is there. While making my purchases I asked about something I had been looking for and didn't find. They told me to leave my name and what items I was hoping for and they would notify vendors to keep an eye out when bringing in new products. How surprised I was then, when I got a call a few days later that someone had something that I might be interested in! Long story short, I drove back and was able to get just what I was looking for thanks to the helpful ladies at the shop. I can't recommend Apple Wagon Antiques enough! We'd be broke. We have bought furniture, outdoor signs, many lamps, a number of old appliance or kitchen-type items, and never go that we don't find a number of things we like. The perfect blend of antique and rustic. Sadly, they are only open on Friday and Saturday and by coincidence, tend to be closed on the weekends we can get there (like this one). Gives us something to look forward to. The only con is the location. Off the beaten path and if you didn't know it was there, you'd have little reason to travel that road.

The sales team doesn't know anything about the items but when I ask the price, they consistently quote a price that's about 5x what it should be. They often say "well in New York City we could get $$$ for it." Yet the item is not in NYC; it's in the bottom of a heap of junk in Scranton. The process is absurd; the service is annoying. The products (while there are many "good old things") have price tags that are ridiculous. It's only useful if you have a lot of money to purchase items and then have a lot of money to transport and refurbish them.
