I started calling in July for updates on the dress and my concerns were brushed aside and I was told by several people that the dress was in the store they "just had to locate it". Three weeks before the wedding they told me the dress did not exist -- they had never even ordered it. I have been calling and messaging them constantly since then for a refund but cannot get through to anyone. This is by far the WORST dress shop. DO NOT go here.

But it failed miserably on customer service and I would recommend steering clear; so fear not, other NEPA bridal shops. We arrived 5 minutes before our scheduled appointment to a full shop and no one even acknowledging our presence. A woman there who called a head to pick up a dress still had to wait 20 minutes for them to find it. Then, in the downstairs fitting area, there was a group of 10 (grandparents, parents, etc.) there to watch two little girls try on a flower girl dress. But once they were done, they did not move and no one asked them too. There is nothing more uncomfortable than trying on dresses in front of strange men STARING at you. Not to mention, we couldn't even get close to the mirror. So we finally get to the bridal appointment nearly 40 minutes later than was scheduled because the previous bride tried on too many dresses. Um, hello, that's when you tell her to come back, because then our appointment was cut short! Instead of jumping right in, she ran outside to smoke a cigarette, and reeked of them throughout the appointment. Once the dress try on started, it was fine, but we just couldn't get over the initial issues and decided that if there was a dress there that was "the" dress, we would not be buying through Gerri's. If our experience there, and overhearing of others is any indication, it would not be a smooth process.

I tried to assist my daughter in the dressing room, and a salesperson came back with an indifferent/ annoyed attitude to see if we needed anything. I will never return. My daughters friends stopped in without parents, and because they were teenagers and presumably incapable of buying, they were actually harassed instead of being ignored. The salespeople clearly prejudge your ability to pay and treat you accordingly, as I saw them fall all over themselves to help someone at the same time they were ignoring me. Never again.
