A replica of the Ecto-1 vehicle from Ghostbusters is parked outside a brick building with arcade and pizza signs, under a blue sky.

The pizza was pretty good; we ordered the BBQ and bacon pizza. It was perfectly made and took only 20 mins. We were gonna eat there but decided to take it home. During the time we waited we played some video games in the arcade. It was kind of expensive but it was good. I would try it again.

Looking to get your fill of movie memorabilia and some pizza pie? How about in a nondescript, rural town where you likely won't have to wait for a table or need an advanced reservation? This is the place for you! The pizza hits the spot but isn't the pull to come here. Instead, it is the incredible, top to bottom movie memorabilia that spans all generations and all genres. There are even gems spilling out of the restaurant into the parking lot and front green space. The ambiance is a BLAST. We couldn't stop looking around and pointing and talking about all things movies while dining here. The service was fast and friendly. We weren't big fans of eating pizza off disposable plates with plastic cutlery. We were cutting up pizza for toddlers and cutting right through the plates. Not ideal. Available drink options paired well with pizza. The prices were ok but there was a service charge automatically added to our check so something to be aware of especially when tipping.

Front door - A brick pizza restaurant features cartoon characters from 'Family Guy' on the wall and a neon sign. A Ghostbusters-themed car is parked outside near a picnic table.

Good pizza, amazing ambiance. Tons and tons of memorabilia all over the place! I spent most of an hour staring at all this crazy stuff and kept noticing more!!

The pizza was cheesy and delicious! I also got the garlic bread which was tasty. I will say you need to order the pizza well done if you prefer a crispier bottom crust. I will definitely be back!

The pizza is awesome! Limited options of other foods. Loved all of collections. Just west of Dekalb and easy to find.

Best pizza in the Malta/DeKalb/Sycamore area! I highly recommend THE GODFATHER, their Italian Beef pizza.

This place is like going back into your childhood. There is always something I did not notice before. The pizza does match the displays.

We called slightly ahead (between Rochelle and Creston) after a crushing day of work in the backyard. I was hoping for some beer. Nope. All non-alcoholic. In fact, I had to go outside to get 2 cans of pop, and the pop machine kept 50 cents (refused to either dispense or refund - WTH?) Anyway, we ordered their Home Made Breadsticks. Tip 1: You get a SMALL pizza worth of breadsticks. We got the red sauce and the butter sauce. Both were good. We ordered a large pizza and got a special - each topping costs $1.70 extra, but it was worth it. The pizza came out hot straight from the oven. When we picked up the box later, the table was steaming - it was that hot. The pizza was pretty good - good sauce, fresh toppings. Good stuff. They have RC products in 2 liter bottles. No alcohol. Carry out and self serve - you order / pay at the counter, and then they bring it out to you. Get your own plastic plates and plasticware and napkins. You'll need napkins.

The prices are as TP put it, very reasonable. We typically get a large carryout, two-topping pizza and are out the door for under $16. They are heavy on the cheese and I don't know exactly what their cheese blend is, but it is wonderful! They have a wide range of options for your standard types of toppings we typically get pepperoni and green olive, and it is so good I usually regret it since I end up eating too much of the delicious goodness. Besides pizza they have Scala's Italian Beef, and Vienna Beef - Chicago Style hot dogs, as well as pizza by the slice. When we talk about reasonable prices it's $3.50 for a very large slice of pizza and 12oz can of pop or $2.50 for the Chicago Style hotdog with all of the trimmings. I had the Italian beef the other day with hot peppers & mozzarella... awesome! They are off the beaten path so you really do need to look for them around the corner from downtown Malta at 307 E. Adams St. They have two different dining room areas, so I'd imagine they'd be a good place to gather a group as well. Definitely worth the stop if you are even close to being in the area!

I don't believe my order was complex but, I like my pizza the way I like it. I'm particular about it... I like extra sauce, easy cheese & well done. We ordered a 12" pick 5 While it had the toppings requested, I ALWAYS ask for extra sauce & it barely had any at all. Like literally NONE. Almost as if I said easy or no sauce- which my receipt shows I did not. It was extremely dry & flavorless as I also always request slightly well done. One piece for us both (in fact it was 2 bites for me) removed the toppings to see a couple specs of red & in the trash it went. Not sure what's going on in the unit at the end of the strip, but it was a madhouse & made parking a bit of a challenge... I probably would've opted for delivery had I known that. However!!! I WILL say the checkout/pick up process once made it in, was smooth, fast & the staff was friendly. You'll see by my reviews, I'm NOT a repeat constant bad reviewer. I personally always check out reviews before trying somewhere & when I see negative ones... I'll click on that person & when I see NOTHING but bad reviews- I take those reviews with a grain of salt because the person obviously is never happy & has nothing good to say about anything... I give praise when it's deserved but I also have to give a thumbs down also once in a while when it's deserved as well. Better luck next time I hope....‍

It gets crowded because people around here know good beer it seems. Along with the beers is also a food menu. The prices are higher than the grubby bars in town, but for sure it matches the higher quality. Better get prepared for how hard it is to park here. It's got a parking lot but it's full often. This was crazy the last time we came here on a weekend. People around here know it's better beer than the crap they otherwise have. You may have to park on a street. Beers are pricier than average but they make smaller batches. It's about $8 a pint. Best of the ones we had was the Highland Hairy. This is a Belgian IPA. A pretty good amount of food. There's a ton of pizzas. Most food choices are meaty. There's also wings. A lot of big and messy items. It's about $7 for the Garden Salad. A pretty standard one with croutons. There's also salads covered in bacon, buffalo chicken, and other heavy stuff. Got to be one of the places to go if you're around here. It's really busy at times, and just park wherever if you can't get a spot. They're located on the east side of town, and closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

There were 4 of us in our party looking for some drinks and pizzas for supper. We knew it would be a wait for a table but there were a couple seats at the bar. Drinks were ordered and three bartenders made sure we got our drinks quickly and accurately. We figured it would be awhile before a table was ready so we ordered some Cheese curds. They got to us in record time and were crazy delicious. Note to self I would come again just for drinks and cheese curds. Our table was ready far quicker than we expected. More drinks and pizzas were ordered. A favorite was the gyros and the sausage pizza. We were not a fan of the goat cheese pizza. It's a flavor that isn't for everyone. Enjoyed our table by the fireplace. Left with a souvenir beer glass. Love their logo. We will be back when we are in the area again. Give this place a try for sure.
