There was coffee ready to go in the coffee pot. All we had to do was push start. There were breakfast items in the fridge and plenty of coffee items. We had the full room and there were mermaid paintings throughout the room and the cottage. Everything was so beautiful. The bathroom was a little small side, but we were fine with it. Linda is so hospitable and communication is excellent. She even accommodated us last minute for a late arrival when we needed a place to stay. We were in Salem for Haunted Happenings Halloween festivities. Everything in Boston and Salem was booked up so we decided to take the drive out to Cape Cod for the night. This turned out to be a wonderful experience! We are so glad that we did. In the morning, we went to the Monument beach and marina area. The owners were extremely nice and accommodating! The breakfast is fresh and delicious, I've never had such an amazing omelet before! They have a big beautiful garden with fresh fruits and vegetable which they serve for breakfast as well! You get your own little cottage with a huge bed, closet and your own porch to hang out on. The whole place is well kept and extremely clean! There's was no tv which on vacation you don't need one anyway! We felt very in tune with the nature around us! Minutes away from beautiful beaches and only about a 35 min drive to Province Town. Many great restaurants surrounding the area! We will definitely be back!

The only drawbacks for us were no wireless internet (and I was working a bit on this trip) and it is off the beaten track and can be hard to find, especially at night. The rooms were lovely, with comfortable beds and couches and fridges stocked with filtered water. The little garden outside was beautiful, with a tiny fountain stocked with goldfish which I had to stop and visit on the way in and out each day. The inn isn't right in the heart of town, which meant it was a lot quieter, which was nice for what we needed. Most of the restaurants were a 15-20 minute walk from where we were staying. The entire walk was full of little shops and galleries-- no hardship to wander past those again and again. Breakfasts were spectacular-- multi course affairs with fantastic coffee and amazing locally pressed juice. Fresh baked scones and gorgeous fruit tarts and shakshukas. All delicious. The entire experience was just beautiful. It sounds a little cliché, but it really did feel more like being invited to stay with your eclectic aunt than it did like a hotel stay. Just wonderful.
