My salesperson was lovely, sweet and incredibly helpful (I did not get her name). I went to the cash register and was treated extremely rudely by the person who rang me up. There was no one else purchasing, so this wasn't a matter of her feeling rushed. I did not want to give my email address and she cut me off, insisting that I could not make the purchase without my email address being entered (said with a smirk, unless I didn't want the discount). She also told me I would receive an emailed receipt, which I never received. When I tried to ask another question, was interrupted and condescended to. My partner, who was shopping with me and works in retail, left the store because he was so offended by her attitude. There are several other stores in this mall, which sell the same brand (as well as competitors). I probably won't ever shop here again.

I recently had surgery and so i have been using crutches and today I was doing a lot that I haven't done since my procedure. I came in and was immediately greeted by him. He helped me instantly. He had chocolate and I commented on how they were my favorite and we got to talking about all the delicious things we enjoyed and about our mothers and their habits that have now been passed to us while we waited for my drop off to process on the handheld. He went to get my info and came back with chocolate and handed it to me. I have to say that, that was so heart warming and sweet. My aunt also passed away this week so I haven't been the happiest but he absolutely made my day, week and month. He restored my faith in humanity and I think it is wonderful that Michael's hires people like him. He needs a raise and I hope corporate has the opportunity to give him the recognition he deserves. It was today 11/26 around 11:40ish. I will now be making Michael's my go to Crafts store. Warm blessing to all the amazing associates here! 2nd trip, he once again was just as amazing!
