Horrible return policy. if you get a gift that is one size too large they WILL NOT let you exchange for the same size. all they can do is send you a card for the amount the product sold for at the lowest price. Even though this makes no sense, the management is helpless to do anything ( I asked) . This said... apparently its only this store that does this as I have exchanged at other old navys with no problem. Management was nice but extremely unhelpful. 9 times out of 10 this store always looks unorganized. If you don't mind stepping over the piles of clothing on the floor, and rummaging through the piles of unfolded clothing on the tables then this is the place to shop. By the way, if you need help finding something, you either have to stand in line to get a cashier to help you OR you may have to go in the fitting room and ask a sales associate for assistance; there is usually no one available on the sales floor to ask for help. The store is always a mess! Clothes are all over the floor, not folded neatly, regardless of time of day. It's terrible!

After multiple shopping trips to this Old Navy as well as others, I finally realized that they strategically advertise sales all throughout the store and intentionally place sale signs extremely close to items that are full priced as a way to manipulate shoppers into making purchases that otherwise they might not have. It took me a while to catch on but after my past trip I'm almost positive that this is a strategy that they have put in place for quite a while now. I went to old navy a little over a month ago because they had huge signs plastered all over their windows about sales. I chose a bunch of items that were on clearance and went to check out. The cashier who was checking me out was really unfriendly, barely spoke to me and did not look me in my eyes. He was a bald man wearing make up all over his face, including make up all over his bald head and he had really creepy colored contacts in his eyes. I'm not going to discriminate, I just found it to be rather unprofessional but I guess in today's day and age anything goes.... Had he been a friendly baldheaded man wearing make up with creepy colored contacts in his eyes I probably wouldn't even have mentioned it. But he was UNFRIENDLY which made for an even more uncomfortable situation for me. I noticed when he rang up several of my items that they were ringing up at full price and I had picked them up from an area where there were signs everywhere stating they were on clearance. I said to him "I thought those were on sale they were located right under a sale sign"...no response...so I said "Could you check and see if those items are on sale?...."he then glanced up at the register for about a third of a second and without looking at me he flatly said "no, they're full price". Wow. Since I was in a hurry and had to be someplace all the way across town within a few minutes I paid and left. If I hadn't been in a hurry I would have gone back to the display myself to show him that those items were located in an area that said they were on sale but that is something he should've done automatically. When I got to my car I called Old Navy's 800# on the phone. The woman on the line was asking me a bunch questions before she would let me ask my question. One question she asked was if I had an Old Navy credit card. I tried to explain to her that yes I had an Old Navy credit card but that I didn't use it today and I didn't have it on me. She then abruptly cut me off and rudely gave me some explanation as to why she asked if I had an Old Navy credit card and apparently since I had one but didn't use it she no longer needed me to speak on that topic. I asked her about the specific items that I thought were on sale in the store that I was charged full price for and mentioned the fact that those items were listed online on the old navy website at the sale price that I thought I should've received at the register inside the store. She then cut me off again and went on to tell me that the online prices could be completely different from the in-store prices and that even the in-store prices differ from store to store for the exact same items. Really???!!!! So I purchased a shirt in the store for over $16 that was hanging out underneath the sale sign and that same exact shirt is $3 online?!!? On top of that I could go to The Old Navy at Tysons and pay a completely different price from the other two prices???!!!! How the hell does that make any rational or logical sense?!?! These are the same exact items!!!! I'll tell you why because their business strategy is misleading and deceptive. Any major companies such as Old Navy that operates from a place of integrity, fairness and transparency would be very clear with their customers about how much each item costs and have the same prices in every store as well as online. They are not the only company that has a completely different price online from their in-store price, Walmart does that too. I'm no fool, I realize this is a deceptive strategy to trick customers into spending more than they intended because, let's face it, by the time most customers get to the register and their items have been scanned the majority of the customers would not put items back once they see that the price is different than what they thought and a lot of customers probably don't even pay attention to how much each item is ringing up for at all. I used to really like Old Navy, but a lot has changed since they first opened and they now charge a lot more money for products that are inferior in quality. Plus I don't like giving my money to people who are deceptive in the ways that they try to go about getting it. read more

This was the worst old navy I have ever been to. I went here years ago and it's amazing how much it has degraded since then. I have never seen a store with so many clothes thrown around, laying over racks, in piles on the floor, overcrowding the cash register. The appearance of the store was unacceptable, the lines were outrageously long and to make matters worse, there were 4-5 store associates standing in the middle of the store gossiping about their weekend. Please put a manager in this store that knows how to keep a store clean and organized and staff productive and helpful. read more

Day after Christmas 2014, the store was a disaster but they were VERY busy. I had called ahead and had an item pulled from inventory and held at customer service. Employees could not find my item and, after about 5 minutes of searching, ended up pulling the same item from inventory again. The employees were very pleasant and helpful. read more

This Old Navy is pretty big and the workers there are usually pretty helpful and friendly. I stopped by here to return a dress I bought because there was a small hole in it. I still had the tags (torn off), but no receipt. I was worried that they wouldn't take it back, but the associate I went to was very friendly and even went with me to see if there was another dress there in my size. There wasn't so she asked if I wanted to shop for something else there or they could mail me a gift card for the amount of the dress. I opted for the gift card because I didn't have time to really shop. I was very impressed with their customer service. It's so nice when stores have good return policies. read more

Went to shop here today for back to school needs for my kids. It was shockingly pretty organized for the chaos that IS tax free weekend around here. Lines went quick. I came early which was key I think. They definitely could of used another cashier but the two cashiers they had were quick. Good prices overall. I don't shop often here. Only to load up on clothing once or twice a year. Great deals on clothing staples, basic cardigans and tee shirts. read more

I went to this store after almost a year an half and what a horrible place to shop for kids clothes! Why does the store needs more inventory than they can organize? Clothes are everywhere on the floors, tables. Worst experience ever in an old navy store. I will never go there. Quality is going down the same clothes I got last fall is much nicer, thicker. Wow! This place has really cleaned up since I've been here at least one year ago. It used to be a hot mess, but now it looks so much cleaner and much more organized. Was easy to find sizes this time and I even got asked twice by employees if I needed anything or help. They've really turned this store around. I'll definitely come back to this location. read more

This place is like trying to find something in a hoarders closet. It was a disaster. Piles everywhere, long lines with one cashier Who just walked away to find a manager for someone. Crap on the floor that you have to step over, crap hanging from the shelves, etc. The quality of the clothes have really gone downhill. And no one around to help you. This location is so poorly managed. I'm here on a Thursday night and the store is pretty much dead except for a long line at the register that has barely moved for 20 minutes. The manager (?) is just standing behind the cashier watching her every keystroke. Her expression is very surly and she doesn't seem to care about the multitude of people standing in line shifting their weight from foot to foot. Why does everyone seem so depressed to work here? I have been an avid Old Navy Shopper for many years. When I walked into the Fair Lakes store yesterday I was appalled. When you first walk in the doors there are three clearance racks that are a hot mess, not organized by woman's, men's or children all the clothes are combined in racks and fallen all over the floor. There wast a single display or table throughout the store that was organized and neatly folded. Everything was a mess including the dressing room and cashier station. This is a huge old navy fail. They need to get someone in there quick to clean up the store or they are going to loss business fast. read more

Total disaster, as many have noted. Clothes everywhere, all over the floor, piles of clothes under the racks, everything mixed up, especially in the baby section. I love their baby clothes, but it's next to impossible to shop here because nothing is in any order, especially in the baby boy section. I've been going here on and off for two years, and it's always like that. I posted some pictures that were from a Monday afternoon. I can understand it looking like that on Black Friday or something... I mean, there was a 30% off sale, but there were maybe 10 other people in the store besides me, so it wasn't exactly a rush. I don't post many reviews, but hopefully if more people point this out, someone will actually do something about it. I've ever seen another Old Navy look like this. Rude service within 5 minutes of being there. I was at a shelf with buy one get one free jeans for boys. I guess the young worker didn't like the way I put a pair of jeans back or something because she came right over and said excuse me as I was looking in the already tight space. So i moved over and then she said she was trying to get to where I was standing. Usually if a customer is shopping in a space I would think the employee would be smart enough to know to let the customer finish selecting and then come into reorganize after I moved from the section. She made it seem as if I had messed up the jeans but I had literally just been there for less than 5 minutes. I was trying to decide if I wanted one of the colors and she seemed annoyed and said you can just put it here if you don't want it and I said I'm still deciding and she continues to ask me if I am getting the jeans and I said I don't know...I said is it ok that I am still looking can I stand here to continue looking? She was obviously annoyed at the mess that was made and decided she would just take it out on me I guess. She kept saying I'm here to help you and I said to her that's fine but I don't need any help i'm just deciding. I felt annoyed enough to tell a supervisor and her response was lame as well and she chalked it up to me not feeling welcomed.I guess they just don't care and that's fine but I didn't feel like staying to buy. I guess I will get some stuff at the Tysons old navy. Hopefully better service. I think this place needs new management. It's been going down hill for a while now. read more
