At this Maurices off Eagle by Kohls I finally had to walk across store to clerk folding things to ask a question, she sees me coming an LOOKED down. What!? She was disseveled and I didn't even realize the other staff was an employee till I saw her folding things (also ignored us). Both looked like they'd rolled into work after a bender. My daughter had a gift card after her birthday and was looking forward to getting a new outfit. This experience really brought down the fun of that and we left feeling deflated. BTW I was dressed in normal nice work clothes while being ignored by these female employees. I wish I'd been a secret shopper for the company cause they should be sacked.

Even though I have hard to fit feet, Sonny always was so patient and caring. He always stated his goal was to get the right fit for my feet. For me to be 100% satisfied. I really appreciated his great customer service. The boots I liked he didn't have on the floor in my size, no problem for Sonny. He transferred them in from another store and after two transfers I finally found MY boots. When you spend 1,000.00 for boots you want to make sure they fit perfectly. And thankfully they did. Sonny, I am thoroughly satisfied. The rest of the team that helped me get my boots were Jadyn, Bree and Wanda. When I called to find out the status of my order one of these women would research it and call me right back. They are a really cohesive team that, like Sonny, just want to get you into the right boot. This great customer service and reasonable prices are the reasons I keep coming back to Boot Barn. Thank you Sonny, Jadyn, Bree and Wanda for helping me find the right boots! You guys are GREAT!

I wasn't sure what type of shopping experience we were going to have at Dillard's yesterday…read moreimmediately after opening We were on a hunt for two Paisley 70s men's button down shirts. It's not like Dillards has a dedicated section or do they? We had been at Macys moments earlier but struggled to find a L and a XXL in the same style We briskly walked into Dillards beelined it to the Men's section and my brother causally asked Cole, " Do you where you guys stock the 70s disco shirts?" Cole replies, " Over-there by the back wall". Cole was not kidding, it was an overgrown Paisley garden. There was countless variations in all sorts of out dated fashionable colors like dark brown, purple, and forest green. The dark brown instantly drew our attention so now the mission was to find two in two different sizes. The large was easy to find but the XXL proved to be a bit trickier. After checking hanger sizes and actual sizes we found a mismatch where the hanger had said XL but the shirt was XXL. My brother strips off his over shirt like he's about to a nude model for an art class. The older ladies shopping abruptly stopped and turned their collective heads as if they thought a rendition of Magic Mike was going to be happening live. It was to their chagrin, when my brother put on the brown Paisley shirt over his t-shirt that they knew the show was over. Mission Accomplished. His shirt fit. We made it back to Cole so that he would get the credit / commission / recognition. Cole was impressed with our choices and said that we would look snazzy in our shirts. What more confirmation is needed. Thanks to Dillards, Cole specially for helping us find two brown Paisley shirts for our Dad's Celebration of Life event. It truly looked like we got into a DeLorean traveled back in time twice to get the shirts out our dad's closet. As I write this the day after, I don't think we'll return the shirts to the closet. We understand that the timeline may never be the same but it's a risk worth taking.

This was the best experience we have had yet. Whoever the lady was (20's maybe?) Dillard's needs to treat her right. She is the employee many stores are lacking these days. She was helpful, polite, and professional. She had called a manager for help with a discount. I could hear how this manager was speaking to this associate. The manager was also great! I commend the manager too for how she spoke to the associate. I do not review often. This was worth the time considering how little I experience a positive interaction, out in the retail world.

Jill store - I noticed it on my mission-trip to Williams Sonoma - was an excellent one. Friendly service, think Nordstrom'esque for welcoming shopper and assisting with finding items and checking with the shopper in the dressing room, well laid out store and with plenty of space in aisleways, neatly arranged merchandise with plenty of options but not overwhelming in same, sizes from 0 to 2X and Petites too. The manager here could teach a master class to other retailers in the area about how to get it right. It makes me want to learn how to wear J. Jill clothing because while I have tried in the past, the J. Jill in the Central Oregon city I lived in was accessed from sidewalk in shopping area and didn't require navigating an indoor mall, so I'd go in when passing by, I never have really learned how to make it work for me, although I am for sure their age demographic and the unfussiness of the styling works for my preferences even if some of the designs are too Eileen Fischer'esque shapeless for me and I feel as if I disappear in them. I'm a smaller and shorter person, 5'4" / size 2, and somehow the regular sizes in JJill are too big for me but the petites aren't right either. But my BFF who is 5'7" / 8 looks great in everything she has purchased in this brand over the years, as does a friend who is in the average American woman size of 12 -14 and they are all dedicated shoppers of J.Jill products. (See closing comment...J. Jill cultivates buyer brand loyalty.) The price is right and in particular when they have sales. Next time I am brave enough to go inside the mall I will spend more time here. If they moved the store outside the mall, I'd be there more often. SERVICE: Dressing rooms are nicely set up. I LOVE that a staff person will check to see if you want a different size or color or item so that you don't have to get dressed to go out to the store floor again. (You hearing this Macy's?) COMFORTABLE ACCESS FOR EVERYONE: As a shopper with disabilities, I have had multiple sclerosis since college years and it is a progressive disease, I particularly appreciate the perfect ADA compliance for at least 36" clear space in aisles. This has been equal access law since 1990 but you'd be amazed how many retailers, in particular for clothing, treat this as optional. Good for J. Jill corporate and this Boise store manager for taking it seriously. I can't say anything yet about the bras but the women working there that day really showed such love and care for me in that situation. I wish I got their names but they helped me so much in such an embarrassing situation. My poor son was covered in vomit and they let me use the bathroom to clean up and gave me extra paper towels and bags. They kept checking on me as well. Seriously the best ladies ever worked that day and I am forever grateful for them.
