I've purchased eight boots from Boot Barn and I still have them and I still love them. My latest two I purchased from Sonny, the assistant store manager. WOW, was he great! Even though I have hard to fit feet, Sonny always was so patient and caring. He always stated his goal was to get the right fit for my feet. For me to be 100% satisfied. I really appreciated his great customer service. The boots I liked he didn't have on the floor in my size, no problem for Sonny. He transferred them in from another store and after two transfers I finally found MY boots. When you spend 1,000.00 for boots you want to make sure they fit perfectly. And thankfully they did. Sonny, I am thoroughly satisfied. The rest of the team that helped me get my boots were Jadyn, Bree and Wanda. When I called to find out the status of my order one of these women would research it and call me right back. They are a really cohesive team that, like Sonny, just want to get you into the right boot. This great customer service and reasonable prices are the reasons I keep coming back to Boot Barn. Ciara was absolutely incredible! From the moment I walked in, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about helping me. Thanks to her expert guidance and positive attitude, I found the *perfect* pair of boots (after a dozen try's) to go with my dress--just in time for my wedding. I've been in Boise a long time and have always seen this place and ALWAYS say..."I'll go in when I'm at Best Buy, TJs, or if I stop at Crumbl (lol) again" and never made it in..:until this trip. This store is fn amazing! It's so much bigger and better than I expected. Good ole, Idaho folk, you know they LOVE this store! They have a great clothing section for both men and women! You rarely ever see a nice men's section anymore. So many stores have shrunk their men's section down to like..a rack (eye roll). They act like men don't exist anymore and I'm sure with all the social crap...oh nvm lol. I'll leave that out. Point is, the men's section here is great. Made me happy to see a store that had basically an even balance of men's and women's. Whoever runs this store knows and acknowledges that we guys also like to wear clothes! Imagine that! Hahaha! Their boot selection is incredible. Again, great selection for both men and women. The boots are pricey, but they're worth it. Types of boots that last a fn lifetime and they have a wide variety of boots from hiking boots, to work boots, to cowboy boots. It's great! They do have a clearance section as well in boots. So that's helps for a lot of folk. I was very happy with my first stop in here and will absolutely be going back. Their cowboy hat selections are great as well. Of course I tried a bunch on. I have a big ass head tho and (sad face) a lot didn't fit hahaha! Found a couple tho that fit and I looked damn good in them hahahaha! The staff is super friendly, super helpful. They are regular people. They aren't bougie for the sake of being fake bougie lol...like a lot of people moving here (hahaha) and basically like so many in retail They are super easy to talk to, they are more than happy to help. Great staff! I definitely recommend this to anyone especially people who love the style of clothing and boots thus place has to offer. Very disappointed in the service here. I saw some things I wanted to buy and was carrying them around, but almost walked because of the terrible service. Three employees were more interested in talking with each other than working. I was 1 out of 2 or 3 shoppers in the store. At least 4 employees were there, none said hello, no welcome, can I help you. They literally ignored me and walked by me with no eye contact for about 20 minutes. I ended up spending $100, but only because they were Christmas presents. I did tell the 2 employees at checkout how disappointed I was and I would be hesitate recommending the store. And one young gal said "I'm sorry you feel that way". What has happened to good customer service or even personal responsibility???? read more

Went in looking for a Stetson. Found an absolutely beautiful Skyline but as usual having an enormous head it was not in stock. Sales guy estimated my head size and said "let's just order it and have it shipped" with the reassurance if it did not fit just bring it back and we will order the correct size. Well he nailed it and it is a perfect fit and loving it. So of course I keep going back and buying stuff. read more

OK so boot barn is always my first stop when looking for boats. They have the best selection and a wide variety of great boots for me in the Boise area. Not always the best in price or in service but always a great selection. The staff is usually very friendly and wants to help their customers however I have found questions about brands and materials are usually met with blank stares. Give them enough time they will find the answer for you and again the service is good just not very knowledgeable when asking specific questions about the boots. I was about to walk into the store when I noticed the mask required sign of course I was thrilled as were in a pandemic and I want to keep safe. The first thing I saw was a employee wearing a mask under there nose,I ignored it and thought it was just one. Then I realized no one in the store was wearing a mask correctly or even at all,besides me,one other customer and a employee. I then saw a group of 3 employees with all there masks under there mouth,I was so annoyed at this point. If I could, I would leave zero stars. I received an inexpensive gift from a company secret Santa. The item did not fit, but fortunately came with a gift receipt. I was informed that in order to get the refund I would have to use a Mastercard since that was the original payment method used. I came back a second time with a Mastercard and waited for my refund. Gave it 2 weeks to post and nothing happened. I came back a third time and they told me they applied the refund to someone else's card! Even better, they said too bad nothing we can do! So the fact that they took my merchandise and didn't provide a refund, Boot Barn steals from customers. Plus I'm pretty sure they are racists as I would always get strange looks when I walked in. I recommend avoiding this place altogether. You can get more for less at other stores anyway. read more

My daughter loves these kind of stores. While there, it was a 5 to one, employee to customer ratio, yet no one asked us if we needed help, despite my daughter crawling all over the shoe section. I went into the store looking for a hat. I noticed 4 girls behind the cash register talking and one was helping a customer. I walked over to the hats to try and find my size. The selection was not good in sizes as everything was either a 7 or 7 1/4. I found a style of hat I liked and walked over to the ladies behind the counter. I asked for help and one of the ladies said that is all we got. She just went back to talking and laughing with the other ladies and did not offer to help me find a hat. I walked back over to the hats, dropped the one I had and walked out. The customer service is HORRIBLE. Will not step foot in the store again and will tell all my circuit friends to avoid this place. This place has the worst customer service I've dealt with. They have none. Ordered a pair of boots online and after 2 weeks I hadn't gotten any information on where they were. Sent them an email and got a response the next day saying they had just been shipped. It's now been almost 10 days and I have not received anything, sent them 2 more emails and have gotten no response. Told them to cancel my order. Also stopped at the store in Boise and everyone stayed up behind the counter talking, no offer for help. A 1 star is 1 too many. I wish I would've looked at their reviews before trying to purchase boots because it looks like everyone has had the same issues. read more

The employees at Boot Barn are very helpful and informative. They have great prices and they have the biggest selection around. If they don't have what you need they can order anything you need if they don't have it in the store. They have all the Fire Resistant clothing which is what I needed the first time I went in. read more

Not an enjoyable shopping experience. Not sure what kind of shady characters they expect to be shopping there, but the dressing rooms AND restrooms are locked, and you have to ask an employee to unlock them for you. Inconvenient and annoying. Not much of a selection of jeans, unless you are 1) a smaller woman who loves to rock a muffin top and sparkly ass or 2) a short, fat man whose waist size and inseam are about the same. I absolutely love shopping at the boot barn. The employees are fun and very personable. They all seem very genuine. They have a wonderful selection and if you want something they dont have (but they pretty much have it all) they will call and get it for you. And even better, they will price match other stores. For a store that doesn't work on commission they have EXCELLENT customer service. I would go there before I'd go to the d and b supply to get my clothes and boots. read more
