The way the food is cooked here immediately transports me to my childhood home, with mom cooking, yelling at us kids to stop lifting the lids off the pots. This food is phenomenal. The rice and beans,platanitos, tostones, all have such a flavor, and that special ingredient that only a mother has, love. I had the tostones, the wife had bistec empanizado and we took the croqueta sandwich home. Man o man, I dont think I've ever finished ameal without taking a to go container with me. The service is excellent, food is 10 stars! I genuinely feel as if I was in a family members home for lunch or dinner, not in a restaurant. This place should be on a tv show somewhere.
