I think I want to be buried here. A lovely and serene place. A variety of sculptures are placed throughout the grounds. On one side, there is a green, lush pasture with grazing cows. On another side, the most beautiful aspect of this cemetery -- the prayer garden. It was larger and more pleasant than I expected. There is a lovely little pond and a trail that passes multiple family plots. It has that magical hidden-from-the-world feeling. I neglected to take photos since I wanted to avoid photographing any gravestones. Why doesn't every cemetery have a prayer garden!? This cemetery serves all faiths. Oh and they offer GREEN BURIALS (sign me up). There's no official parking lot -- you just find areas to pull over. There is a slightly larger area to pull over by the portable toilets (by prayer garden entrance). Cemetery hours are dawn to dusk, daily. The official hours listed here are for the office, which has limited hours and is closed on weekends. Office staff is very friendly (I called to confirm hours).

There were some gravel pathways and and some statuary that were very pretty. Behind the graves there was a prayer walk way with headstones, chimes and figures dedicated to St. Francis of Asisi. There is no real parking lot to speak of but you can park on the gravel near the opening of cemetery. Also, there are no real bathrooms here. There is a port o potty but it's super gross so be aware to take care of that somewhere else.

He was euthanized in our home by a wonderful vet who makes house calls. After Luci's passing, A Plus Cremation showed up to take him away. Jacob with A Plus was very considerate and professional and very sympathetic to our sorrow in our time of need. As Luci was so large, no other pet cremation company would help us with his remains. We were not able to take him to a vet or to a pet crematorium, so A Plus Cremation is a valuable, life-saving service. Chris, the owner, worked with us in making arrangements to have Luci cremated and with the payments. Luci's ashes were returned to us in a very nice carved wood box, along with a plaster of his paw print and an ink print as well. A name plate embossed with Luci's name was also provided: Lord Lucifer Bear which will be placed on his final resting spot the wooden box. Cook Walden charged $700 to transport the body less 10 miles, and charged $600 to refrigerate the body while waiting on our hometown funeral parlor. Our hometown funeral parlor only charged $428 to transport our loved ones body 214 miles back to our hometown funeral parlor. This charge was for the one way trip only. We needed to arrange a 1 hour viewing for our father who is unable to travel and the total tab was over $3400. We received virtually the same services at home including a $75 obituary for Less than $1000. I think they took advantage of our situation.

The small family plot is located along Wolf Ranch Parkway just a block from West University avenue aka Hwy 29. It is odd to see such a sight so close to such a very busy intersection and right next to the busy road. There is an entry point next to the sidewalk in the primitive fence, but the entire plot is about the size of the average family garage. There are only two headstones here, but there could be more buried here in unmarked graves. It's nice to see that it has been taken care of in spite of its perilous location. I'm sure the occupants here could never have imagined their final resting place would one day be an obstacle to modern progress.

This is unquestionably one of the most well-maintained, organized and manicured cemeteries you will…read morefind anywhere in the state. It is directly behind the Palm Valley Lutheran Church which is a historical building. All the graves are very well laid out and ordered primarily into family burial plots. There are acres of old headstones , recent ones and some waiting to be interred in their future plot. There is a single paved lane that runs through the center of the cemetery dividing the old and the new graves. I'm sure many of these headstones belong to the Who's Who of Round Rock and local history. This is still an active cemetery and I found several recent graves from 2022. There is also more room for additional plots on the back side should you decide this is the place to be your forever home. The church had a historical marker, but I did not see one for the cemetery. The pictures in this review don't fully capture just how beautiful this place is.
