Each dinner had plentiful sides of potatoes, carrots, green beans, parsnips and red cabbage. Everything was fresh, abundant and delicious. The service was very good. We had a lovely chat with the 3rd generation chef/owner who not only cooked a great meal but also made some nice recommendations for our trip. Also, I like that they stay open late. A lot of the restaurants in town close at about 21:00. The employees were a friendly bunch, and they were very helpful, as well. I wished I had eaten in, though. We were staying about ten minutes away from town, and I think my poor dinner suffered as a result. I know my onion rings suffered for sure. I knew better, too. Food always suffers when you do takeaway. With that said, I will come back next summer. The prices cannot be beat, and the food is good.
