what a gem of a local find! paddleboarders, kayakers, kids, elderly, millennials: add some sun and the start of a weekend in the pnw and this place is MAGIC! get there late afternoon/ early evening if you want prime seating for drinks, pizzas, sandwiches, salads or italian sodas. nothing i saw being consumed looked anything other than fabulous and our half pepperoni, half brie, prosciutto and hot honey pizza was excellent! tables in the shade were at a premium with the sun and the heat but it's just a lovely place to hang out and unwind! i will be back. the food's too good and it's also a place i'd like to introduce my local friends and those who visit in the upcoming months to! i'm walking away so satisfied and full!

Come for the views... stay for the pizza. The cider. The chowder. The people. Excellent pizza choices and you can even pick one up and bake at home if you like. Perfect late fall day here after the atmospheric river downpour.

It's adorable... what's not to love?? Pizza treats gifts and a gorgeous view! There's a little beach.. my son loves throwing pebbles in the water. It was crystal clear! Sailboats were floating by! A lovely time.

Made a quick stop in to check the place out. We shared an Italian sandwich and the soup of the day which was tomato bisque. We sat outside in the perfect weather! One of the people nearby ordered a charcuterie platter which looked great. I would love to come back to try more, the view is so nice!

If you're cruising around Olalla, this is the place to stop! The market area has a great variety of gift shop items, snacks, drinks, and other knickknacks. Postcards, kids books, local wildlife guides, unique jam blends, crackers, pickled goods, drink case, and so much more neat items to check out. One of those cool shops to get a variety of small items and build your own gift basket for a friend kind of places. They also have a restaurant to order quick sandwich and pizza items, plus on tap beer and other drinks. A few baked goods to also grab if you have a sweet tooth on the road. We didn't order from the restaurant but the staff was still friendly when they greeted us as we came in. We'll be back to eat lunch from the restaurant next time!

Highway accident had me detour in the backroads today, decided to stop into the market. It's really cute! All the indoor tables were full, it was great to see so many happy faces enjoying the space! I brought home a couple of take and bake pizzas with additional toppings yummy too!!!

    Yummy pizza!

What an amazing transformation! The deck is very well made and an inviting spot for a coffee in the morning or beer a little later. Outstanding views from that deck. The store is well stocked and has some very cool local items. Well done folks, see you soon!

My wife and I drove here to try the pizza which, unfortunately, would not be served for another couple of hours. But it wasn't a wasted trip because before that we checked out exhibit (verging on shrine) to medical quack/swindler/mass murderer Linda Laura Hazzard and her "Starvation Heights sanitarium. The owner of the new Olalla Bay Market, Gregg Olson, wrote a book about the whole thing. He's compiled an extensive collection of photos, actual furnishings, and much more in a room in a building off to the side of the market. I won't go into the story but it was truly fascinating to see and read all of it. The building also contains a room for special events and/or community meetings and offers a beautiful view of Colvos Passage. What gives it an extra local relevance is that the one of the roads you take to the market passes by the site of the burnt ruins of the sanitarium. You can't see anything because it's fenced off and back behind groups of trees. And it's on private property anyway. We also found out that pizza is only served by the $5 slice, which can get pricey real fast. We'd been planning to order a whole pizza and enjoy it outside on the shaded deck. Oh well, not to be. Too bad about the pizza but we loved the exhibit.

It was super cute!! It felt like we were at an outdoor wedding reception. It was just so surprisingly spacious and cozy outside. The pastas were wonderfully delicious. Perfectly cooked pasta with bold flavors. We got their risotto special and oh my gosh, was it ever so flavorful and full of different textures. Crispy, salty cubes of guanciale; the veggie broth-infused, perfectly al dente risotto; and the creamy mildness of the mascarpone made for perfect bites of pure yum! And that Caesar salad...sooooo yummy! Each bite was like biting into a cloud of goodness. The soft, freshly grated parm was so delightful. And the lemon zest just put it over the edge! One of the best Caesar salads I've had. Quick and friendly service! It was busy but our food came out quickly. It just felt like a fun, rustic, and quaint dinner experience. All the pizza is made with real meat, real dough and real cheese---nothing tastes frozen. Let that sink in for a minute. Then get ready to sink your teeth in. Cheesy, I know. The two tables next to us were occupied almost immediately, and then the house was packed, making the room really warm. I actually wished we had sat outside instead. I liked how they pre-tossed the salad for you so that each piece of lettuce was dressed. We also ordered the18inch Adam's Wild Mushroom pizza with the gluten free crust. Gluten free people- great news!! Their gluten free crust was soooooo good. I honestly had to ask my fiance if he thought it was actually gluten free. It was thin and chewy, which is hard to find in a GF world. I enjoyed the white sauce on the pizza, as well as the mushrooms. I couldn't taste the spice in the spicy evoo, and I thought the pizza needed a little extra saltiness to round out the flavors, so I asked for some parmesan which they brought out freshly grated. Overall, I would come back again to try another of their GF pizzas. Do they have a HH special? That would be awesome.

Nestled in a beautifully restored 100-year-old building, this wood-fired pizzeria delivers an experience that's as soulful as it is delicious. From the moment you step inside, the warm wood interiors and sunlight streaming through the windows set the tone for something special. But it's the pizza--oh, the pizza--that steals the show. I've tried every single pie on the menu, and I can say without hesitation: these are the best pizzas I've ever had. The sourdough crust is a masterpiece--crackly on the outside, chewy on the inside, with a tang that only comes from true fermentation artistry. Each topping combination is thoughtfully crafted, from the earthy mixed mushroom with roasted garlic to the house-made sausage and pesto that bursts with flavor. Yes, there may be a wait. Yes, they sometimes sell out of dough. But that's just part of the charm. It's a place that honors quality over quantity, and the payoff is unforgettable. Even the ice cream--made in tiny batches--is a hidden gem. If you're lucky enough to snag a pint of their summer peach, consider it a bonus miracle.
