It's not just how they grilled it but the quality of the lamb and also they are baby lamb, not gamey and very tender. Even the fries, the baked/roasted garlic and the chili was amazing. Grilled octopus - The lamb chop was so good that even the grilled octopus was pretty outstanding, you don't really notice anymore. The sauce there made with olive was impressive. Very delicious. At first, I saw the almost 5 stars rating must be forgiving and generous tourist's rating but after coming here, now I know. This is the real deal.

For a main dish we had pork scaloppine and saltimbocca. Meat was tender, while the sauces had decent taste, but slightly lumpy. There is also a set lunch menu that is very good value for money! Not a big selection of wine on offer (just a red, white and rosé). All in all, if you just want to wind down and feel some genuine warmth while out and about in the more touristy parts of Palma old town, this is the place to do it. We had actually passed this place up as we were getting gelato one of the nights and things were shutting down. We knew we needed to come back here when the kitchen was open and our stomachs were wide open. The next day after a long beach day and being extra hungry, we made SURE we came. Despite not having any reservations, they let the five of us sit pretty quickly and we had the best waiter that made us crack up the whole time. We ordered a bit of everything for the table to share, they had plenty of vegetarian tapas options for us while our friends also decided to go all out with seafood. When in Mallorca, right? They use the freshest of the seafood and this was for sure a great spot to enjoy it at. With a draft beer, I stuck to the classics and had a lovely meal. Three tapas plates came out after I had a nice basket of tasty multi-grain bread with whipped butter. Gambas con Sobrasada was a delicious small platter of shrimp in a tangy tomato sauce. Pimientos de Padrón was a very large plate of slightly spicy green peppers that were tasty but not very spicy. Way less "hot" than jalapenos, if you're concerned. And of course Patatas Bravas are classic potatoes with a spicy tomato sauce. A very good meal that was more than sufficient for just me. The check ended up at close to €30 for three platters and one beer. Around $40, which is maybe a bit spendy for tapas, even here in the big city.
