We were a party of 6 and they took us upstairs through what felt like a maze of tables and parties enjoying wine and tapas. I already had fallen in love with the ambiance that felt cozy and intimate. We were seated and proceeded to order a ton of starters. One of the highlights were the oytsers which were dressed with shrimp, the pan con tomate, the burrata salad and the cochinillo main. Wow. That pork was divine, and we all agreed it was the star of the night. Our friendly server also recommended two different wines - a white from the area and a red. Both were great and perfect pairings with our meal. We ended with dessert which was torrejas and a homemade strawberry ice cream. I loved them both. Would definitely put this spot on your list when in Palma. It's in the walkable area of town so pop in and explore before and after.

My favorites for the night was the marinated mackerel for the marinade sorbet (one of the specials) and the mellow beef cannelloni. The trio was a perfect combination of smokiness and sweetness. Iberian ham "Bellota" - Probably the best cut of ham we had in all of Mallorca! It was the tenderest piece of ham we've had. You could taste the quality of the meat. Roll & Roll - these were vegetarian rolls filled with Mediterranean goodness; I'm not a vegetarian but these rolls were very good! The sauce added so much flavor to the rolls. Eggplant carpaccio - if you must order one dish and one dish only, this is it! Nowhere in Mallorca will you find eggplant carpaccio. It was absolutely delicious! The eggplant was covered with truffle oil, almonds, and parmesan cheese and was full of flavor with every bite. Octopus, 13% style - The Octopus was seasoned with spicy paprika on top of a bed of mashed potatoes. The octopus was good, but did not compare to the other tapas we loved. So it was quite the breath of fresh air to wander into this place slightly off the tourist track. We were walking by and one of my companions said "Hey, this place looks good, and it's all locals in here." Great seafood tapas and, of course, pimientos de padron. Good wine. Good prices. The food, the wine, the service, the interior/exterior ... everything is great. A place definitely worth a recommendation but actually worth keeping as a secret. It is a "slow" food place, not a fast food experience - so bring time to enjoy the food and do not be upset if you are not served right away. Breath in its atmosphere and enjoy the anticipation of the great food and wine you will experience. This restaurant is worth every second of your time. The menu has exactly the right number of options and the portions have the right size (i.e., adequate, not too small and not too big). Recommend the Ceviche as a starter, the Restaurant's wine expert will recommend a good pairing. Worth every penny and a decent tip!
