Good and fresh, loved that they use local and organic. The African Salad is a must with the pineapple pieces hidden underneath fresh greens and lots of avocado with a creamy peanut dressing. Cod was really good but became overdone quickly sitting in their super hot dish. The half I pulled out onto the bread plate was perfect, so I recommend removing the fish immediately when it arrives. Service was average. Not that I needed much but would have been nice to be checked on, especially to see if I'd like anything else. 13% was our first meal in Palma and one of the most memorable - the food here was pretty freaking amazing! Note this place is not known for traditional tapas, but more of a global modern twist. Some of their tapas were one of a kind and cannot be found anywhere else in Palma. The inside was super cute and would be great for a date night. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive. At the end of the night, we even asked her for a recommendation of her favorite local tapas place in Palma and her recommendation did not disappoint. This is what we ordered: Toast Mallorca - There was sobrassada, cheese & tomato jam au gratin on top. You've never had toast like this before! The jam added so much flavor to the toast. The trio was a perfect combination of smokiness and sweetness. Iberian ham "Bellota" - Probably the best cut of ham we had in all of Mallorca! It was the tenderest piece of ham we've had. You could taste the quality of the meat. Roll & Roll - these were vegetarian rolls filled with Mediterranean goodness; I'm not a vegetarian but these rolls were very good! The sauce added so much flavor to the rolls. Eggplant carpaccio - if you must order one dish and one dish only, this is it! Nowhere in Mallorca will you find eggplant carpaccio. It was absolutely delicious! The eggplant was covered with truffle oil, almonds, and parmesan cheese and was full of flavor with every bite. Octopus, 13% style - The Octopus was seasoned with spicy paprika on top of a bed of mashed potatoes. The octopus was good, but did not compare to the other tapas we loved. You should find a few things that you will want to order, sharing always helps that cause. There's a lot of tapas places to choose from in town, this one seemed very popular so we decided to give it a try. - Salmon was very good, it looks way bigger than it is. They cut it extremely thing compared to what most are used to. - Baby potatoes had some sauce, they were just okay. - Bruschetta with anchovies didn't work well for me, the fish threw it off. - Penne pasta with pesto, felt this was pretty plain. It was done right, but I can make just pesto with penne with a sprinkle of cheese at home. - The Moroccan chicken was pretty good overall, had a decent flavor to it. The waitress looked open to seating us, took one look at my children (who are well-traveled, well-behaved, very restaurant friendly) and said everything was taken at 830 so she couldn't have us sit. How dare you suggest that I should eat in McDonald's because you aren't capable of serving food quickly enough to accommodate us. Don't patronize this place. They clearly don't like foreign visitors or children, and said just about the most insulting thing she could possibly say to us in a super nasty tone to boot. If being conciliatory and suggesting that WE would accommodate THEIR reservation by not staying past 90 minutes somehow makes me a clown who should go to a fast food restaurant because their kitchen couldn't possible serve us quickly enough to make it work, well, there are plenty of other places in town that won't treat you poorly or make you wait an hour for food. read more

For already uncooked foods, I was surprised it would take 25+ minutes to get something out after ordering. They do give you some olives to nibble on at least. The Majorcan wine is nice. The Majorcan sampler was good, but nothing spectacular (3.5/5). I found the sausage and cheese good. I did discover a pit without flesh on it among the olives served which made me wonder if anyone checked before scooping some on the plate. Tried this out based on Yelp reviews. Was not disappointed. Strolled in at about 10:15pm which was no problem in low-season. We initially went in for the Tapas menu for 2 but opted for the à la carte when we saw that most of the set tapas menu was vegetarian. Tried out the Mallorca platter, Bellota, Ceviche, Galician Octopus and Beef carpaccio. My fave was the carpaccio! I had a glass of Catalonian wine called Els Nanos while my partner had some local Mallorca-based Cabernet Sauvignon. All in all Dinner came to around 60 euros all-in. What a brilliant meal we just had. Our first dinner in Spain couldn't have gone any better. We rolled into this high ceilinged restaurant and managed to grab one of the last available tables. We went for the six course tapas menu. Every dish was amazing - my highlight though was the Carpaccio Aubergine. Coupled with the meal we enjoyed a recommended local white by our lovely waitress. Despite the extremely cold welcome reserved by the waitress when we arrived and during our stay in that restaurant (I guess she was in a bad day), we enjoyed the place, with a typical Spanish atmosphere... Fans of hipster restaurants will love it : bio and ethic food are the rule. We ordered the eggplant carpaccio which was tasty and stunning (but not enough for my stomach and a bit too cold)! I almost gave this place 5 stars, just due to the pure difficulty of finding healthy, vegetable focused dining options anywhere in Spain. This is a meal that will taste good, but that you can feel good about. While the food and wine themselves comes close to 5 stars, my 4-star rating is reflective of their higher than expected prices, portion sizes, and not the most helpful waitress when it came to selecting a wine (basically she showed us where the wine rack was, and left us to our own devices even after we asked for a recommendation and explained our tastes). The "Toast Rustico" (with sweet onions, cheese, and iberian ham), is sweet and hearty at the same time - This can serve as either an appetizer or dessert (or in our case, both because we ordered it a second time at the end of our meal!) The African salad (with greens sweet potato, pineapple, avocado, and peanut dressing) was very tasty and fresh, but a little overdressed. Recommend, but maybe ask for the dressing on the side. Eggplant carpaccio (with truffle oil, almonds, and parmesean cheese). Delicious, would definitely recommend this dish! Cod in sage butter - This is the one dish that disappointed us. The fish itself was fresh, but the portion was very small and the sage butter was definitely not up to my expectations. The butter wasn't browned, and the sage was barely visible, so little that the taste didn't come through. If you're expecting an Italian style brown butter with sage, be prepared for dissapointment. Speaking of Italian dishes, they had a few pasta dishes on the menu that we stayed away from. Another table nearby ordered one, and it looked bland and boring. We came in because of the good rating. Firtst time we tried it was full and we had to leave. Second time, in the afternoon we were lucky. We had the tapas del dia. A taste of several taps.. It comes in 3 courses and a dessert. We had salat with feta, jamon, toadt with goat cheese figs and honey, special patatoes and a psta dish. For dessert melone and coconut mousse. Arrived for lunch about 1pm, and had no problem getting a seat, although by 1:30 they were full unless you had a reservation. This was the most memorable meal of our entire vacation. The seven course tasting menu is not only a delicious, filling value for less than €20, but also refined and playful in ways you normally only see at much pricier places. All seven courses were great, but a standout was the eggplant carpaccio. I believe this is the chef's own invention since there don't appear to be any recipes online for something like it. The toasted almonds and shaved Parmesan go great together, and their richness is a perfect compliment to the lemony acidity of the marinated eggplants. Another favorite were the toast points with melted spring onions, goat cheese, and tomato jam. Every element on this dish worked together, from the sweet jam to the tangy cheese to the savory onions, and combined in ways that felt both inventive and traditionally Spanish. We were stuffed by the time we got to dessert, but it was also a star - a trio of pineapples with ginger, raspberry panna cotta, and chocolate brownie. The best part of this dish is that they didn't just feel like three separate desserts on a plate; they worked best when eaten together and combined simple pleasures like rich chocolate with more adventurous dessert ingredients like ginger. All in all, a fantastic experience at a place that's getting pretty popular but still on the rise. 13% is a little gem tucked away in the side streets of Palma. It came recommended by some friends who were here 4 years ago, so we thought if they remembered it after 4 years, it must be good. It was. We took the menu which was 19 Euros per person. There were for sure cheaper routes, but I don't think they would have been as tasty. Honestly, the scrumptious dishes just kept coming until the finale, a lovely dessert platter. But, before that, there was some sort of marinated eggplant sprinkled with parmesan cheese and crushed nuts (that was a new taste sensation to me,) some roasted potatoes with no ordinary salsa to dip them into, stuffed peppers with homemade hummus and a meat and cheese tray that was just as it should be. Oh, and speaking of cheese, on the meat and cheese tray was this super smooth, creamy, sharp, melt-in-your-mouth cheese that my boyfriend loved so much that we had to order a big chunk to go. No joke. The service was excellent- we even caught the waiters/waitresses dancing at one point. The food was excellent. The place is excellent.
