And, the inclusion of Asian fusion and flavors makes the dining experience all the more interesting. While not all the dishes we ordered were a hit in my eyes, as some had a little too much sauce, I do think the wide range of dishes definitely has something for everyone. Service was decent. Good tapas in a great location for people-watching. A reservation is required on weekends. Squid was just a standard fried calamari with mayonnaise---nothing unique. Octopus with kimchi was excellent and an interesting preparation. I would recommend this dish. Aubergine with cheese was interesting and very good. It's a bit pricey, but everything we ordered was delicious; croquettes, bureaus, ceviches, steak tar-tar, eggplant and feta. We also had a great full bodied Rioja. I had the pad thai with shrimp, which wasn't too spicy, but was absolutely delicious. I was craving it a few days later! My friend had the burrata and was very happy with her choice. My husband had the octopus carpaccio and he loved it, and said it was one of the most unique dishes he's had! I found it interesting, and enjoyed a taste, but wouldn't want an entire dish of it. Since we were not EU citizens, we weren't able to get the digital QR code for the COVID passport, which was required to dine inside, even though we all had our USA vaccination & booster cards with us. Luckily, it was a pleasant day to sit outside. They had fire towers, but I didn't feel much heat from them. Find the large circular water fountain on Plaça de la Reina, across from the main Catedral and it's there facing the fountain. Or find Zara Home, then head a few doors over towards the ocean on the same side of the street. Don't miss the fried egg with truffle foam. It's actually a sunny side up egg so be prepared for it looking raw when it arrives at your table. I was a bit surprised since it said fried, but WOW. I couldn't eat that fast enough! What a great restaurant in Palma Centre. I googled this place a couple days before my wife and I came based on google on the great of google reviews. Although their lunch menu is extremely limited. Everything is delicious! We got the OMBU mule and the L'Elegant drinks to start. Not great, not terrible. However, the food here is incredible! We got two orders of the Pan Tomate, chorizo, croquettes and their mini burger. Everything was was so good. It came to a total of 52 euros, which is extremely cheap in my opinion. They have great outdoor seating as well indoor seating. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. As for our waitress she brought our food out to us quickly and correctly. I came here with 4 friends and we were seated almost immediately. We really liked the ambiance and we came very hungry, so we ordered half the menu. Not a single food item we ate disappointed us. Some of the friends I went with have been living in Spain for 9 months and they said it was by far the best meal they've had in Spain so far. This was my favorite meal in Palma. I rarely give out 5 stars, and there were a few minor issues with a dish or two that we ordered, but overall a really solid meal. They have a menu of tapas with a few gems and a few slightly underwhelming dishes. The highlights: - the steak tartare actually was very good and ended up being a surprise favorite. With truffle and a few other goodies, it's a must order. - the golden egg dessert was not only delicious but also delightfully playful and fun to eat. The low points: - the chicken wings were over brined leading to a very disappointing textural element. I am originally from Buffalo, NY where wings are the religion and I would not recommend the wings here. - the rice with chorizo was so salty that we were unable to finish the small dish. Overall: - we sat at the bar and the bartender was really attentive. It was definitely a highlight. However at the end of the night it was a bit challenging to get the bill. But the drinks were well made and demonstrated a high level of artistry and the level of service was very comforting. - being able to see the kitchen as they cook was really neat. - did I mention this place has amazing dish ware? We order a bottle of wine, bread with tomatoes and jamon to start. These were amazing. We continued to order a variety of tapas such as salmon tartare, pork buns and croquettes. We enjoyed everything we ate! It was my friend's birthday so secretly asked the waiter to bring a dessert with a candle, which she did! The dessert was called "golden ball" which has chocolate mousse and heath bar, it was very good. We started dinner here around 10:30pm and were the last costumers here once we left at about 1:30am. The sauce also was overpowering, so what could have been a nice fusion indeed up being something just mediocre. It was also disappointing to order water with gas... To only get mineral water. I live in Palma. The place was very busy, it's in a touristy area near the cathedral with bus access 5 minutes away (numbers 3, 20 stop at the McDonald's close by). I really thought it was overly expensive and the food wasn't that great either! For a non-alcoholic drink that isn't water we're talking 8.50 for some ice, mango juice and lime. I chose two of the most expensive tapas to be fair - some raw tuna in a bit of sauce for 18 euros and the lamb cannelloni for 12. And they were okay, but nothing special. So already with those that weren't particularly filling we're on almost 40 euros per person. You can easily go to S'Angel 10 minutes away and get better food for half the price, or the amazing burger and tapas place with a hanging motorcycle in it more towards ginbo (before S'Angel). There are so many other good tapas places to choose from in Palma. read more

We started out our meal with the japanese oysters and the peruvian oysters, both really delicious. Large oysters, beautifully presented. We also tried the pan de tomato, patatas bravas, gazpacho with mango, tuna cornetto, deep fried zucchini flowers, fried squid and a desert with pineapple and coconut. The oysters were the standout dishes, the gazpacho and zucchini flowers a disapointment. Staff was attentive and we got seated without a reservation.
