Really cared and understood her patients and also did her best to inform the staff of making sure to provide the best patient user journey. Clean, organized, and is consistent with her appointments. The only thing is that the wait times were deathly because she grew immensely in her role and practice. Highly versed and bilingual allowed her to connect with many different patients of hers. I called today 5/8/25 to confirm and Optic Eye Care has taken over and there is a team of new doctors taking over now. Need to find out where she is. If anyone knows of where she is practicing that would be extremely helpful.

We did the usually eye tests but Dr. Su took the time to explain the results afterwards. It was very insightful to understand how my prescriptions were calculated and cool see my eye balls magnified. Ultimately Dr Su helped me pick out the right prescription for my astigmatism and my headaches disappeared thereafter. Her team also helped explain my insurance plan and pick what was in my budget. It's a breath of fresh air to have such a personalized experience.

After examination, Dr Jiang confirmed the presence of the tear and recommended laser treatment to prevent potential detachment in the future. He informed me treatment can be done right away and asked me to sign the consent form. A couple numbing drops later and he began to laser the torn spot. After about 5 minutes, the treatment was done and it was practically painless. The only sensation I felt was slight pressure on the eyeball from time to time. Overall, this was a lot less stressful than I imagined. Highly recommend Dr Jiang!

I had heard good things about Dr. Lai through online searches, so I was hoping to confirm what insurance they accept and how to use my medical insurance for an eye exam. Unfortunately, the experience fell short right from the start. The person who answered the phone, Sam, was impatient, unfriendly, and noticeably rude when I asked basic questions. Instead of helping guide me through the process, as any medical office should, especially for new patients--she sounded irritated and dismissive. It honestly doesn't matter how good a doctor may be if the first point of contact treats people this way. A front desk representative sets the tone for the entire practice, and this interaction was a complete disservice to Dr. Lai and to potential patients like myself. I ended the call feeling unwelcome and unsure if I should even schedule an appointment. Customer service matters, especially in healthcare. Sadly, this was not a good first impression.
