Dr. Marouni and his staff are truly amazing. I was referred to him by a friend. Dr. Marouni was there to help me, listen to me and formulate a plan to get my issues under control and to be able to overall, feel better. Dr. Marouni has truly changed my life and helped me towards a path of better health. I will be referring all of my friends and family to Dr. Marouni! read more

I've been meaning to change this for awhile. Like a LONG while. I saw Dr. Marouni years ago and had to change Doctors because I moved. I've actually considered switching back to him and just dealing with the drive because I have yet to find a Doctor that matches or even seems to care as much. After leaving a 4 star review because I didn't like how the desk staff handled calls or getting back to you (Don't get me wrong, they were always super sweet and nice to me) I received a personal call from Dr. Marouni. He wanted to make sure that the situation got handled and that I was left feeling comfortable. I don't know if this has changed. I would assume so seeing as he took the extra effort to reach out so that he and his staff can provide the best care possible. I did mean to change my review a long long time ago.. But life happens and I'm forgetful. But Dr. Marouni deserves the 5 stars. Always has! I still may come back if I cannot find a Doctor that can compare. read more

Please go elsewhere- you will never get a call back. I work with a lot of clients with disabilities ( Medical/ Medicare), therefore I go to many clinics around the valley and Santa Clarita area. One of my clients was taken to the ER from a medical incident. It has taken them two weeks for them to give us a call back just to make an appointment. ER made it important my client see the physician ASAP. This was stated to the clerical team. Fax was sent from ER visit!! No communication whatsoever. We will be looking for a new clinic to go to. read more

Dr. Marouni and the staff were so helpful and attentive to my needs. Everything here is done so quickly and efficiently. The front office staff kindly greeted me when I arrived and they were able to answer any questions I had. The lab located in the clinic is really convenient as well. I would come back and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! read more

If I could give the office staff a 0, I totally would. The staff is a complete joke, and i do complete agree with the previous comments. The FRONT OFFICE STAFF do not care at all about their patients. They NEVER call you back. They NEVER approve anything, not even refills for your medications. Both of my parents are patients there, and it took me a month in a half to get my dads medication refilled... As for my mom, she has a fractured foot so she needed an authorization asap to see a specialist, I had to be constantly calling them to get an authorization. The girl finally gave me the address to go see the specialist, and once my mom got to the specialist office, she had no authorization... Are you kidding me?? Besides the fact that they don't care, they also LIE..... At this point I was already very upset, I called the girl again, and she said that she had authorize us for another doctor.. Omg I was about to snap... Why would she sent us to the wrong specialist?? This is just a little taste of what you have to deal with in this office... So please DO NOT go to this clinic... I believe the doctor should hire new front office professional staff members asap because he is making himself look very UNPROFESSIONAL with his FRONT OFFICE STAFF.. read more

I visited Dr. Marouni's clinic for a physical exam and to get my blood work. The staff were really nice and professional. They welcomed me in and said Dr. Marouni will be with me shortly. I was really satisfied with Dr. Marouni's expertise; he explained to me my health concerns in easy to understand terms and gave me a peace of mind. I should also note that you will not have any issues with parking upon your visit. The Clinic has a large parking lot on the back. Great doctor and team! read more

If I could leave a NEGATIVE STAR I would. Front desk employee CARLA is extremely rude and unprofessional. These people can't even operate to answer the a phone call!!!!! Thy hung up the iPhone on me about 4 times already just because I was trying to schedule an appointment to get a referral to a neurologist. Very very Unprofessional!!!! read more

This was the worst doctor's office I have ever been too. I NEVER met the actual doctor. Not once. Just a different nurse every time I went in. All they ever did was take blood again and again, and bill the insurance. This a total scam. Do not go here. I am looking into reporting this office to the proper authorities. read more

I really dont recommend this doctor i think is really irresponsible im in the process of changing my daughters. So one time i called that my daughter got a rash with the antibiotics she got if i could take her in and they said they would call me back they never did. Then another day i called my daughter had fever and the same thing hapoen they never called back. They never call for nothing not even to remind you of appointment you have is so irresponsible of their part they should always be on top of thing especially if its a child involve i would not recommend this doc to anyone. read more

Dr. Marouni and his staff are amazing! Throughout my experience here they were super polite and helpful. The MA Cynthia is an incredible person that takes the time to explain everything! Great place with really awesome staff. The wait time is not long and I got my tests done fast. Office is a lot bigger than I expected and very nice on the inside. Lots of parking in the back but the spaces are a bit small. Overall great place! read more

Dr. Marouni is an amazing doctor I was referred to this doctor from my therapist. The staff is extremely good at what they do they don't make me feel like I'm at the doctors office it feels like a home very friendly. They ask if I need anything while I was getting my blood work the nurse had a very good had I didn't even feel the needle going in. The doctors is very amazing he was able to see me and check up on me. Making an appointment was fast and easy they followed up on my appointment within the week of the appointment and 2 weeks prior to the scheduled appointment. Coming here has been a great experience. I would come back again if I ever need anything. read more

I came here for my phlebotomy externship this week and had a great experience. Dr. Marouni and the rest of the staff treated me professionally with respect and kindness. Dr. Marouni is great at what he does and is very thorough at explaining your situation to to you in a friendly, caring, compassionate manner. I asked him many questions and he didn't get impatient or seem like he was in a hurry which is a big plus. He is very knowledgable in his field and passionate about his job and speaks both Spanish and Farsi. He is definitely an asset to the community in which he serves.I traveled all the way from Rosemead to see him and it was well worth it. I will recommend him to family and friends as well. Great job Doc! read more

This is not a review for the doctor but for the office staff of this doctor's office. I called multiple times to make an appointment. Either their lines were busy or when I did get someone, they took my information and said they would call me back. I'd wait a few days and then try back as they never did follow up. I finally got ahold of the woman who said she handles the scheduling and she took my info and said to call back Tuesday of the next week to make an appointment as my ins. would then be updated for them. She said she would be able to schedule me for June 12. I have a condition that has to be monitored by a doctor so after 3 weeks of just trying to get someone to make an appt. I figured I'd made some progress. Called back the Tuesday, as she asked me to, and got the same run around, "give us your info and we'll call you back". I told them no, I need an appt as I have a condition that has to be monitored by a doctor, the lady I was talking to put me on hold. The woman who handles scheduling got on and told me that I was 10th in line and that my calling was holding up the process and I was not the only patient. I didn't think I was the only patient and that I only wanted to make an appt and she told me she would call me back. Unfortunately with my condition if it isn't monitored and my meds aren't refilled I can have fits of seizures and end up in the hospital. At this point I was beyond frustrated. She continued to say that "it doesn't matter anyway because at this point we can't see you until the last day of July, but really August would be the soonest." This is after she said I would be able to get in on June 12th. This office cares nothing for patients health and their well being. They do not call back, as they say they will. They do not have any priorities and will take your info and do nothing with it. I do not recommend this office for anyone who needs to see a doctor. They don't care. Do not go here if you value your health!!! I called my insurance and changed my primary doctor the next day. Called the new doctor and have an appointment next week. They were professional and competent. That is how health providers should be. Do not believe otherwise. read more

Before I chose this doctor with my HMO, I read all the reviews but ignored them, very unfortunately. This office loves to waste your time. When my insurance effective date came, I called to schedule an appointment with this office. I called about 20-30 times if not more, but no one would pick up the phone. I had to physically go there and make my appointment. I had to wait a month for my appointment, which is okay. Most offices are like that. When my appointment day came, I come to the office. The front desk girl tells me that she called me a few days ago to reschedule because the doctor had an emergency. No lady, you did not call. And even if you did, why wouldn't you leave me a message??? Why bother, right? Careless, of course... So I rescheduled with the Doctor. I had to wait another month to see him. A day before my appointment, front office calls me to confirm. I confirmed. She informed me that they will just do my blood work because the doctor is not in the office. Pffff. Doing bloodwork without doctor's approval and presence? Does the doctor even exist at this office? It seems to me this office is run by unprofessional and uneducated staff. No. Thanks. I don't want to wait another month just to find out the doctor is not available. Waste of time. Being in a dental field myself, I have never ever experience something like this anywhere else. Please don't waste your time and find an office that wants you as a patient! PS. This review is for Sherman way/van nuys office. I guess this doctor has 2 offices he can't manage properly. Updated 6/22/16 Today I received a letter from this doctor's lawyer saying that I made "false accusations " on Yelp. If I don't remove this review, he will sue me. I wouldn't go on Yelp and tell my experience with this practice, if I was telling a lie. Go ahead, proceed. I have all the evidence that I need to win this case. And to all people who look for a "practice that cares", avoid this place at all times!!! This is what I have to go through. Some doctors just can't take objective criticism. read more

***NEGATIVE STARS IF I COULD!!!!*** After dealing with this office (and Yelp"support team"), This place is such a joke! The staff is horrible, hang up on you when you try to make appointment, The Dr Lawyers sending letter to be sued over "reviews on yelp" and misdiagnose me, which I had to go to the second Dr who caught in time to help me with my gastritis. He diagnosed me with depressed, and gave me meds, WITHOUT seeing a therapist !!! Please, dont deal with this place, unless they changed in the last few days, cause I doubt they have! read more

So this is a busyness not a clinic ... And their front desk is the worst they are horrible rude forget about this place is the worst read more

I have held off on writing a review for this clinic/doctor because I always gave them the chance that my next visit with them would be a better experience. That NEVER happened. The front desk is completely unprofessional and unorganized. Whenever I call it is ALWAYS busy. If they do happen to answer the put me on hold and never get back to me. Once after calling for days I went in and the office was completely empty of patients. The phone ringing off the hook and no one was answering the phones for no apparent reason! I only saw Dr. marouni himself once. After that one of his other nurses working with him would attend me. I'm not sure if they are doctors but by the way they diagnosed my issues I would say not. The wait is one of the worst of any clinic I have been to. Once your in the examination room be prepared to wait about an hour to be seen. Ok so now for the visit that tipped me off the edge. I came on for an appointment to get a refill on a medication and also because I have a Mole in my back that has recently changed shape and size and has been hurting me, I also have a red blotch larger than a dollar coin that has appeared on my leg. Of course DR Marouni did not see me himself but a female Armenian Dr. Did. She took no more than 5 minutes to see me. She took a look at the red blotch on my leg and said it was hardly noticeable. Then looked at my mole and said "let me ask the doctor" took off and never came back! Finally after 30 minutes I walked up to the front desk and asked what happened with my visit?. The LADY that had seen me had left for the day! They said oh we were about to go look for you and handed me the prescription I went for. Then I asked ok what about the rest of my concerns? The nurse said well what did the DR say? I said "Nothing! She left the room and never came back." The nurse went in and spoke to the actual DR came back and said we will mail you a authorization to see a skin specialist. That was it! I was livid. I took my prescription and left. Never ever will I return to this office. All my other previous visits had gone just about the same. My children were also assigned to this clinic but I changed them as soon after their first visits. I don't know why I waited so long to do it for myself. read more

Dr. Marouni was recommended to me by my OB and boss Dr. Kossari after my daughter was born and I can honestly say he is amazing. His staff is awesome. They always accomodate me and my kids. I love his nurse/plebotomist Nora! I had terrible experience in the past with nurses bruising and leaving huge lumps in my son's legs after his shots. Nora never leaves aNY evidence and my kids are over it in less than an hour. Thanks Dr Marouni ! read more

The reviews speak for themselves. He's been my family doctor for some months now and I am never able to get an appointment with him within a reasonable time frame. I called his office for an appointment when I was in bed with extremely high fever and they nonchalantly offered to see me three months later. I called again recently for a checkup and they set me up for an appointment 4 months later. I guess this has more to do with the staff than the doctor himself but still it is a reflection of his poor leadership skills. Finally decided to change my primary care physician, and I urge everyone to do the same. This guy just doesn't care. read more

OMG this call that you are about to make is a waste of time. If I could give them minus 100 I would. I called early in the morning , he was at a meeting...........ok It is 4 now and I never heard back. Thank God I didn't..............don't waste your time trying to get an apt!!!!! UNREALLLLLLLLLLLL I wasted my entire day waiting for nothing. read more

Dr. Payam Marouni is a trusted professional. He is knowledgeable, patient, and truly cares about the well being of his patients. I can say this with the several interactions that I have had. Overall I have had a positive experience and would recommend him to my friends and famiy. read more

Doctor is great!!! Very knowledgable, takes his time to answer all your question. It may sounds rude but he really need to think about changing his staff!!! I am a very patient person but I can't stand them! The only reason I go to that office is because of Dr. Marouni and I'm willing to deal with them! Every time you need insurance referral or something it seems like I work there not them, I have to tell them every step and tell them what to do! If you looking for a good doctor go to this office but be ready to deal with issues of his staff members!!! read more

What ever you do run away as fast as you can from this office. I don't even want to give them a star but a negative star. This review like many other reviews is not for the doctor but for his staff. I haven't even had the pleasure to meet the doctor but based on his staff I don't want to. I'm doing all I can to change him because I don't want to deal with his staff anymore. My grandparents medication was due and Damaris took her sweet time to authorize their medication. I called numerous times and couldn't leave a voicemail because their machine is always full and when I would finally get a hold of Demaris she was rude and completely unprofessional, gave me the run around and would NEVER call me back! My poor grandparents had to be without blood pressure medication for about a month. These people don't care, so don't bother going here SERIOUSLY!!!!! There ignorance is insulting! read more

I completely agree with the previous posts. If I could leave negative stars I would. Do not go to this doctor!!! The front desk staff is extremely rude. Carla told my mother in law that she has options and to find a different doctor just because she called to follow up on scheduling an appt. I called and spoke with Rosa who wouldn't help me and after I kept asking several questions she hung up on me. They're extremely unprofessional and unhelpful. read more

I would not use ever!! I tried to make my son an appointment twice with there office and they refused!! Best part is that their office staff think they are qualified to diagnose you and and tell you to just buy over the counter medicines. You best believe I filed a complaint with the medical board! I told her how can you diagnose my child if over the counter products had worked I wouldn't be trying to make my child an appointment! Getting a new primary Doctor! read more
