I was extremely excited to see a local plant shop here in Soma! I spent several hundred dollars…read morethere- and have 2 $15 dollar plants left to show for it. I was told if there is an issue to bring the plant in right away to be looked at- I did so with my $40 money tree, and the $45 Persian Shield- both were rotted, dried out, and dead within ONE WEEK. The owner offered to try to "salvage" my $50 brandly new purchased plant- and weeks later said he couldn't "bring it back to life" When I asked what we could do about the situation, seeing as I have spent a lot more money than I should have shopping there- he basically told me it was my fault the plant died- so nothing he could do. He also blamed me for the money tree still having been banded at the roots- which causes root rot. (He did not once mention to cut the bottom band from the tree trunk for optimal root growth) Long story short- don't waste your time, or money- a simple gesture of maybe a small discount, or offering me another smaller plant would have went miles, but I'm disgusted by the lack of customer appreciation especially in a small community like the SoMa. I will absolutely not spend another dime there. The whole experience with him today left a completely sour taste in my mouth. Do not recommend- shop around for options (even Trader Joe's plants have done better in all the years I've been a plant mama- I say go there first - plants are $8 and Ive had mine from Trader Joe's for YEARS!)

Then they charge 10c for flower food, which should have been free. When I asked to add it she had already swiped the card and I didn't have a dime.
